  1. Probably there are but I believe a large majority of the pieces in sets assembled/packed in the Czech Republic (or sometimes in the Hungarian Duplo factory) for the European market are made in Europe (mostly from the Billund factory).
  2. 10365. Because it looks better, has minifigs and is made in Europe.
  3. It looks fantastic with blue sails!
  4. I mostly like this set. It looks fantastic but If it was up to me I would make a few changes. 1. I would remove the stand and lower part of the hull and that would make the set less expensive 2. I would add at least two shooting cannons somewhere on the ship 3. Yellow minifigs instead of flesh minifigs But many things are also great about this set. I am very happy that the following things are included because I feared otherwise. 1. Cloth sails 2. Hull pieces 3. Minifigs (I was afraid this was going to be another boring Endurance style set)
  5. I agree. It is a strange decision to include those because they are unnecessary and only drives up the price.
  6. I'm doing it. I have ordered the missing parts from Bricklink and new sails from Ebay. I saved a lot of money by restoring it because at the same time I ordered some missing parts for 4010 and 1888 that I got in the same lot that I bought.
  7. I bought these minifigs, horses and pieces for 35 euros. I only needed the small Black Knights flag but the price was so good that I had to buy everything. I'll use them in my MOCs and when restoring sets.
  8. Well built and also very funny! I especially like the pizza engine.
  9. His sails are great! I have bought from him before and they look fantastic and the quality is very good. The Black Seas Barracuda in the picture has sails I ordered from him.
  10. I really dislike the black boxes that they use for the 18+ sets. They look so boring, like they are meant for car parts or something like that.
  11. From my sail supplier passionforbricks3 (Ebay) I bought these replica sails https://www.ebay.com/itm/265538593231
  12. I like the angular design. Nice build!
  13. Yes. That is the best option. Thanks for the advice. I want the sails to be in very good/perfect condition so replicas will the best option. Buying original sails in that condition is very expensive and they are also hard to find. I bought replica sails from passionforbricks3 on Ebay and the missing pieces from Bricklink. I'll post more pictures when it is complete.
  14. Should I restore this Renegade Runner I got from a lot I bought a while ago or buy a complete one? What will be less costly?
  15. I wouldn't agree that they take up a lot of space. I you have several of the same type they can be stacked on top of each other.
  16. Very creative idea and also funny!
  17. Great looking crew! I also like the background you have built. My cat is also partially immune to the effects of gravity.
  18. The Black Knights Castle would also be a great choice. It is one of the favorite sets from my childhood and in my opinion the best castle ever made.
  19. I have not seen a MOC this beautiful in a very long time. This should be a real set. It is so perfect!
  20. Thanks! Maybe I could add some craters with lava. I imagined this testing facility to be located at a safer place (unless you are driving the rocket vehicle) where they test the rockets before deployments.
  21. Thank you! I got inspiration to build the rocket space rover from the Space vehicles in Lego Racers. I imagined it as some sort of experimental platform where it is possible to attach different types of rockets. I guess they break the land speed record on a daily basis.
  22. Let me present my Futuron 2 Rocket Research Base for the Summer Faction Festival contest. The faction is a special unit of Futuron that is specialized in exploring remote planets with extreme environments. That is the reason for their different uniforms and colors. The colors of their vehicles and bases are similar to Futuron but instead of trans dark blue canopies theirs are trans green. This is the place where they test new technologies before they are used in the field.
  23. Yes, so do I. I also would prefer them to be as separate as possible. It also feels a bit sad that iconic Bricklink features such as the ID cards will disappear. I joined Bricklink in March 2002 and it changed my Lego hobby in tremendous ways. I might go as far as saying that Bricklink was an important part of my youth. Around the same time I also joined LUGNET and Brickshelf. Before it was very difficult to acquire the pieces that I needed for my MOCs and older sets that I wanted. Before Bricklink my only source of older sets and pieces were yard sales and thrift stores and sometimes I bought my friends old Lego sets and pieces that they no longer wanted. Joining all these sites and communities made me realize that I wasn't the only teenager interested in Lego in a huge way. Now, over 20 years later it feels strange that LUGNET is dead, Brickshelf is a museum and that Bricklink is changing.
  24. This is not a thing that I want to happen but on the other hand I don't believe that the changes will be so drastic. In Swedish we have a saying "man ska inte inte måla fan på väggen" which translates to "do not paint the devil on the wall" and means that it is not good to assume the worst thing to happen because it leads to negative things. Maybe all this will turn out okay after all.
