  1. As far as Lego-specific skins go, I have now also seen Tiger Woman (named Tabby) from Series 14, and Hiker Guy (named Silas) from Series 16. I wonder which other ones have made the cut - anyone else find any Series people?
  2. I think they started with the skins that are in the Item Shop. Vader and Indi (and Iron Man and some older Marvel stuff) are from Battle Passes, so they were probably a lesser priority for now wince they can't make new money off of them. Hopefully they will be updated soon! Played for awhile this morning - I've been having a pretty good time with it, even if I haven't been able to craft any armor yet. . My town currently has me, Brite Bomber, Meowscles, and Aura as residents. I saw Beef Boss (but didn't have enough room in my town to invite him), and just before I signed off, the Groom from Minifig Series 22 came to my place (though she introduced her name as "Roam," mentioning that Groom was just a nickname? Something like that.) The character work seems to be really good - all of Meowscles's lines tie back to him being a cat, and he'll sometimes interject comments about it into conversations, for example. Just working out how to get more resources now...
  3. The full trailer is now out on Lego's Youtube page. I'm getting a lot of vibes of Minecraft from it - in a good way. I'm excited to get into it! Also, looking through some of the leaks for the mode, there are hints at some Ninjago content with both the builds and enemies mentioned, and mentions of Falcon Knights and Fright Knights . Link to the list of names. Also, here's a thought... What if the linking of the Lego VIP account could tie into this mode? We know that you can scan in instructions for VIP points, but what if you could also use this to unlock Lego-exclusive characters? IE, scan in a code from 71786, and unlock Zane and Pixal?
  4. Mr. Pringles called, he wants his mustache back... (I think I'll keep his helmet on for my collection... Though I do think it's kinda funny)
  5. That's what I find to be really impressive. The arm printing is where it would start and stop on a "real" minifig - even if it's not exactly how it looks on the "real" Fortnite character. Same with the leg printing. The Galaxy skins, which would normally be more transparent, look more solid - like it's just printing on normal plastic. Heads, ears, hair, and hats don't go below the shoulders on most of them, so the heads can turn, or so you can throw on a cape, or something onto the back (Axo is a good example of this - normally his "frills" would go lower). Parts that might have stood at rounded or odd angles on a Fortnite character are much flatter on their Lego counterpart to allow for easier printing (like Renegade Raider's goggles), or are just a simpler shape in general (like the peel on Peely's head). Existing pieces are used in a lot of cases - especially hair, but also some clever hat/hair combos that look really good. It's all been done extremally faithfully and respectfully. I imagine any hints at physical bricks won't come until at least the 7th when the Lego mode opens up... But this could make the Animal Crossing line look tame in comparison. Even if you hate Fortnite, there's a lot of potential for plain City parts, space stuff, monsters, historic designs... I'm excited.
  6. 1: Default 2. Evie 3. Beef Boss 4. Midas 5. Skye 6. Tomatohead 7. Possibly Calamity? 8. Fishstick 9. Slone, ?, Beef Boss, Drift Cuddle Team Leader could also be seen in the town near one of the houses, but we already have good pictures of her.
  7. Watching the Fortnite live event (lost my spot in the queue), but it looks like the Lego mode could actually be kinda good. It looks P vs E, and several Lego-ified characters could be seen (I definitally saw Beef Boss, Tomatohead, Skye, and some defaults). I'll have to look at it in more detail later. Can also see Evie, Midas, some robot in blue (Possibly The Visitor?). A lot of other ones, but it was hard to make them out. There are also some crab enemies, and some kind of castle with an ogre attacking it.
  8. Rocket looks like a Five Nights at Freddy's character with those teeth.
  9. Do you have a link to the stream? Maybe we can pick something else up that was missed.
  10. According to @Minishark2000, yes. That user also said that they "could defeat Jango," which is another minus against Maarva and Willrow Hood. Edit: And is also "packing (carring a weapon). If it wasn't for the fact that Jocasta Nu wasn't directly deconfirmed, I would have put my money on her...
  11. Okay, here's everyone who has been suggested since this kerfluffle started: Orson Krennic - Not peaceful Dedra Merrow - Not peaceful, not tied to vehicle or object White Boba Fett - Main character, doesn't have hair, already exists Rose Tico - Not peaceful, already exists Mon Mothma - Not peaceful, already exists Bail Organa - Not Peaceful, already exists Owen Lars - No object, not controversial, already exists Kino Loy - Not peaceful Sleezenbagano - Doesn't wear white, not controversial George Lucas - Not really a Star Wars "character"? Already exists. Galen Erso - Not peaceful, incorrect guess Jocasta Nu - Incorrect guess Skad/The MODS - Don't wear white, not peaceful Young Leia - Main character, can't drive Dryden Vos - Not peaceful Corde - Not peaceful, not controversial Queen Organa - No object or vehicle, not controversial Tion Medon - Not human, no hair Dorme - Doesn't wear white Lyra Erso - Not Peaceful Omera - Doesn't wear white, not peaceful Sio Bibble - No white in outfit, not tied to vehicle or object Maarva Andor - Not peaceful, not controversial Ric Olie - No white in outfit Willrow Hood - No white in outfit Baron Papanoida - Not Human I'm out of ideas...
  12. Not a human. I think at this point, we're either missing something, or we're reading something incorrectly...
  13. After sitting with the new images for a bit: The Barbarian in on the verge of perfection... But the color of the hair kinda ruins it for me. I'm not a fan of that color of red on any minifigure besides a clown - it just doesn't look natural to me. Cross fitter might be one of my least favorite CMFs of the past few years. Super common hair, face that looks nearly identical to that super common winking one, and an overall design that could be in about any City set? It also looks like one of the few minifigs that got arm printing, which feels like a shame. If you like it, then good for you - I'm just not impressed. Glad the goathearder is firmly medieval - I wonder which parts will get reused in the new village? Interesting that Basil looks grey... Will he be a full-on vampire under the helmet? I have no connection to the originals, so I'm fine for whatever it is. The harpy looks better in this image for me. I do wish that Lego would make a better winged character back piece that isn't so large and blocky though. Overall, I think this series is a bit of a mixed bag, with five I'm not a huge fan of, four that are decent, and three that I really like. I'll still end up getting the whole set since I buy them by the case now, but I do feel that it could be a bit stronger.
  14. I have a hunch it'll just be a one-off set of a Battle Bus with 3-6 minifigs, not a full line (Basically like that . I'm doubtful on a CMF line too, but one can dream... Minifigs I could see coming would be: Cuddle Team Leader (Confirmed) Jonesy (Either Season 1 look or Agent, this is the only other one I'd put money on) Renegade Raider Drift Midas Peely Fishstick Ruby Aura Crystal Brite Bomber Bushranger Beef Boss Tomatohead The Henchbros Slone Someone from The Seven (Probably The Visitor) Evie The Ageless (That one character you really like that I forgot about) So, I guess if you really wanted to do a full CMF, something like that could work... In a one-off set, though, I think that the minifigs would be CTL, Jonesy, Peely, and Fishstick would be the first four I would pick.
  15. Beat me by one minute... Source (and more photos): https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/lego-minifigures-series-25-revealed-the-lego-goat-is-back-in-2024/
  16. Darn... Maybe the "right" one was overlooked? I think almost everything else has been hit at this point. Glup Sh*tto is all I have left.
  17. Jocasta Nu? She could have her lightsaber to be "packing heat," and being a librarian is peaceful.
  18. I could be completely off my rocker here, but this doesn't really make any sense to me. To be clear, I'm on Team Yellow for non-licensed themes, and I can understand hairstyles/limb differences/hearing aids and all that, but children being incapable of empathizing with a "generic" figure? That I don't get. Wasn't the whole point of The Lego Movie that Finn (the human child) was able to put personality and meaning into an average, ordinary construction worker? And I looked through all 219 minifigures from this year in the Bricklink catalog under the "town" category, and only found seven that had a listed name. Sure, The Lego Movie came out almost a decade ago, and Bricklink could be missing some names (or I could have missed some), but I don't buy this at all. I think you might be seeing what you want to see here. What exactly about these minifigures (all from this year) looks like a "white redneck"? I'd say they look pretty generic.
  19. @itsjustajoe has said over on r/legoleaks that the Rapunzel set will be minidolls. It's still probably not case closed at this point, but I'm not going to put any hope into it...
  20. Preorders are up on MinifigureMadness, if anyone is looking to get a few boxes. Though it might be worth waiting a few days to order - they usually have discount codes in their newsletter that comes out around the beginning of the month on new series preorders.
  21. Golly, that is tempting. But I also need to be saving money for next year with the Medieval Town Square and Bricklink Designer Program sets, and possibly some smaller pickups like the Animal Crossing sets, Bowser's car, and the family tree... Plus, you know, rent, food, and tuition. I might have to skip it, even at that price, sadly...
  22. Wave 3 Finalist have been announced: Harbormaster's Office, The Art of Chocolate, Forest Stronghold, Camping Adventure, and Lost City. The Art of Chocolate is my favorite of the bunch (hopefully I can save up enough for it), and I like the Forest Stronghold and Lost City. Harbormaster's Office isn't really for me, and Camping Adventure is probably my least favorite (though I still think it's okay). Shame the Woodland Playhouse didn't make it, that one would have looked great next to the mushroom house from last wave...
  23. Dang... I wish those mushroom pieces were cheaper. And the hat/cloak from the main villain dude. At least the sloth shirt is on there for a good price - I might need to get that one for my mom at some point, she loves sloths.
  24. Man, this discussion has been going nowhere for a long while... Who know there would be this much controversy around a single printed part that most AFOLs can easily swap out with less effort than it would take me to type this sentence? When I was growing up, I got the faces I had in my sets, and I lived with it. If I didn't like the face, then I would either swap it with some of the other limited few I had, or put in under a closed helmet so I didn't have to see the face. No need to do any mental gymnastics over the lip color of a minifigure or figure out exactly why I got certain minifigures in one set over another. Heck, I will even admit that I wish I did have more girl faces to fill my army ranks with - but I never let the face of one minifigure ruin a set for me. There seem to be a lot of people on here that feel really entitled over what is included or not included, and, honestly? We're all adults here, so I feel safe in asking everyone to just get over it - especially when it is just a face, and it's not affecting any of the other torso printing. If you don't like the face, get another one. If you didn't get the minifigure you wanted, go look for it on Bricklink... Or, just skip the set altogether if you're that offended by one part/minifigure. I hope that when I get to share my sets with my own kids/nieces and nephews, that they can play with it however they want - whether that be with boy knights, girl knights, robot knights, or who knows what else.
  25. Both of those newly leaked sets look surprisingly solid. I'm glad more of these sets are focused on simply being good models, and not have to have some kind of gimmick tied to the digi-figs. I'll try to keep both of those on my radar.
