  1. De'kra faced the Mage and clicked, "I not real shade, just what I call I. I echo of I; I shadow. I call I shade because of it. But first memories of two languages, home tongue and secondary tongue, also distrust of light. All light make I pained, but not physically. Light mock I, how it feels. But stars worst. Stars make I feel extreme not-like, like stars not-truth tellers, but also worse. Like stars make I sleep forever. I not feel stronger in dark, but emotions more stable there."
  2. De'kra glanced back at the quest board, which still was not updated. The wait was a little trying, as hours seemed to slip by. But he had time, it wasn't like the shade had to drying to do today.
  3. This is great, I cam recognize it as Takanuvs attired glance. It's a nice blend of three worlds; yet it still has all the features of the original. My only issue with this is the bright red connectors, they are kind of an eyesore. I would suggest using black versions, but that is just me. Either way this is one great creation.
  4. Now that is a great tree. I like the use of whips and seaweed as drooping leaves, I can easily see this on a swamp plant. I can't believe that this is a work in progress.
  5. De'kra awoke, and gazed at the morning. The dreadful stars were gone, though the sun was starting to climb. Only on clouded days was De'kra safe, or if only the moon was out. He had nothing against the moon, it was only a half-light, a reflection. Like him it was just an echo. De'kra glanced at the quest board, only to find that Quest 4's heroes hadn't been named yet. And thus the long wait began.
  6. De'kra could see that light was fading, and that meant that the stars might be out. As he glanced at the sky light he saw a single star. As soon as his eyes touched the star his demeaner changed, and he raced into a corner, one where the starlight never seemed to hit. The shade muttered something in an alien dialect, before entering his bedroll. While the shade went to sleep, did the observing Amorith notice his sudden outburst at a star's appearance? OOC: I envision the hall featuring a skylight, to provide natural lighting during the day.
  7. De'kra noticed a new quest had been put on the board. The shade glanced at the board and signed. He didn't really need water or food, but that desert's sunlight would torment him. The light mocks him, teases him. It would drive De'kra mad. Quest 8 was to be avoided at all cost.
  8. Actually space was canceled from 2001(or 2000, I forget) to 2007. It came back, but that still was a gap of six years to seven years.
  9. De'kra has made a great discovery, he will never understand this roam-ant-icism. Not because of bad explanations, the actions that the two heroes were simply making no sense. He could see that it could be a way of finding breed-partners, and that doing so was vital to their races. He knew how beasts multiplied after all, humans would be about the same. But anything beyond that made no sense. It just didn't translate. De'kra clicked, "I think roam-ant-icism beyond I. I think I race not capable of it. Home tongue have no word for it, it no exist there. Secondary tongue have similar means to roam-ant-icism, but I not really understand. Nothing in either tongues like roam-ant-icism of you tongue. It only make I head hurt. Like might talk to rock about society, it no comprehend."
  10. De'kra winced and clicked, "I know male and female, I have word for male and female in home tongue. But in home tongue translation there no real visible difference between male and female. Usually males more aggressive, females more social. Not say males not social and only violent, nor females only social and not able to fight; difference really real small. But there different physical bodies for males and females here? What way?" To the ogre he explained, "heroes over there have mind sickness called roam-ant-icism. I try understand concept, not well."
  11. De'kra nods at this and clicks, "Two heroes remind I of chickens in time-of-new-life. Chickens sing in time-of-new-life, chickens also pair off. It same thing? Might yes, I have new question. Usually chickens pair and one colorful chicken and one dull color chicken. Which one of two heroes colorful?" As the ogre approached, De'kra clicked, "you fine." OOC: De'kra is talking about all birds, he just only knows the word for chicken.
  12. De'kra nodded in greeting and clicked, "I De'kra. What roam-ant-icism? Sickness only affect elves and humans, or others in danger? I not know word, but you tongue not I first. You describe roam-ant-icism?" De'krawaited, hopeful that his butchering of the common tongue of Eubic wouldn't be too hard to understand.
  13. De'kra noticed another figure in the hall, some ways away from the elf and human. The shade approached the masked figure and asked, "You know of mind sickness current? Some heroes act odd."
  14. De'kra noticed that the elf rogue had arrived, and now was talking to the human. The shade noticed that there was something weird about their tone, and wondered if it was a mental illness. The only thing worse than death might be missing your will, your intelligence. The human did seem to have trouble thinking. The shade sank back into corner, he would have to ask around about this.
  15. De'kra looked puzzled and stated, "I see rogue elf who very distracted on letter days ago. Elf had irregular breathing, I not sure why. Elf had some other heroes come over to discuss letter, other heroes give advice. But what matter? Danger for you home village?"
  16. De'kra tilted his head, and clicked, "I not understand. Why delay make you sad? Elves live long, might sense of urgency smaller. Elves live for ages, might not feel need to reply right away. Besides, there other heroes, why you need talk to this one?" Confusion leaked through the Shade's voice, unsure as to what the hero was speaking of.
  17. Make the nightmares end. This must be how the Joker sees reality! That aside, Batman is the best looking in my opinion. Aside from his skeletal wings, he still has pretty good proportions. Iron man is okay, if only because he has an excuse to be so inorganic.
  18. Nice use of that rogue night mask and armor, it fits the Ogre quite well. I also enjoy the mounted ogre, it reminds me for some reason of the giant elephant-like creatures native to the world of Lord of the Rings.
  19. Sadly I am on the east coast, but it is something to look into. Thanks for the information that some remain in stores.
  20. Okay this is scary good. The details are incredible, from the nice talons to the branches the bird rests on. I find it hard to believe that this is your first bird, it is just too well crafted.
  21. Agreed, but it would be cool.
  22. I am tired of him too. Maybe the winter series ends with Furmo giving his "life" to save the city, or some such thing. That way he is gone, but his influence is still there, with every hero aspiring to be like him. Dare to dream.
  23. De'kra noticed that another hero was in the hall, and seemed rather sad. "You sad?" he asked as he approached the other hero, "You need talk about sad." The shade waited to see the other's reply, curious as to what had made the hero so disheartened.
  24. Nice creation, it is easily recognizable as a speeder. Although the speeder's influence is heavy, the subtle changes really complete the change from hover bike to aquatic scooter. The only thing that annoys me is how high the crystal claw sticks up, it seems a little big. Regardless this is a great creation, by the way what holds his legs to the bike?
  25. De'kra nods, and heads to the quest board. It appeared as fhough quest 4 would be announced soon, quite some time earlier than it was originally planned for. Soon De'kra would learn if he was going to be on the mission or not.
