  1. Well someone certainly has thought this out well. Despite the potential of Witches De'kra still will be an Assassin, as he doesn't trust Ether.
  2. IC: De'kra flips his blade back, sizzled blood flickering into the air. For the mment De'kra was still in control, the battle still bent to his will. For this moment, he was untouchable. Hoping that this power won't fade, the shade leaps back to the back row, ready to strike the Brigand again with his Prongcanis Dagger.
  3. So on a hopefully less turbulent topic, I was randomly searching the internet when I found a guide to being a Rogue. It's a good laugh, at least in my opinion. The link is below, in case any of my fellow Rogues want to see the official guide book. Link
  4. IC: De'kra feels electrified as he ends the Sneak eternal. This flow of battle, tag-timing with Dak triggered something. The battle seems much less chaotic now, it is much easier to read. This rush might not last long, but for the moment De'kra can truly see the battle, and he knows where to strike. For this brief moment, De'kra is in his element. As De'kra looks for Dak, he spots the fellow Rogue slumped over the ground. The shade calls over to the Mage, "Element-Wielder; Dak alive?" De'kra knows he can't check Dak for wounds, he has no knowledge of human, Mopag, or elf biology. He still is a little freaked out from when he saw that one naked. It had no lights or metal or gears or anything! Sure some people are like that, but not the ones he knows best. The point is he won't be able to tell if Dak was alive or not, and he had a fight to battle anyway. As he readies, De'kra attacks the Brigand from the back row with his Prongcanis Dagger, ready to fiercely fry the foe.
  5. If I had to pick a theme for De'kra, it would probably be Somewhere only we know by Keane. The lyrics and music work well with De'kra, and it does reflect his past well in my opinion. On another note, Dak and De'kra just kicked tons of butt in Quest 20. In one turn, our dual attack gave us two shields. I have forgiven the die, for now.
  6. IC: De'kra nods and attacks the Sneak from the back row with his Prongcanis Dagger. The blade sparked as he whirled it, just like his mind. In that brief moment where Dak and De'kra attacked, something in the shade's mind had clicked. For a second, maybe two, De'kra could see the flow of the battle, the ebb and tide of war. He could see where to attack-no, he had remembered how to attack. He had remembered something, but had that moment passed?
  7. I believe a lime green tentacle appeared in the 2007 large set Nocturn.
  8. De'kra suddenly notices that their ever silent knight managed to activate the sentinel position. Realizing that he is safe from damagethis turn, De'kra moves his attack to the front row.
  9. IC: De'kra moves to attack the Sneak from the back row, his Prongcanis Dagger at the ready. "Dak and or barbarian use potion?" he suggested as he attacked, "or wait? Heroes have no cleric to help after all."
  10. Sorry about that.
  11. Well we are having the best arena battle ever seen. The only way to top it would be Boomingham verses Cronk. Although both are paladins, they are as different as can be. One a racist time traveler, one a true hero and the greatest Orc ever known; both chose the Paladin path but for different reasons. It would be awesome. (for lore reasons, even if the battle has issues with the die) On the matterf Cronk, it is nice to see him grow stronger, and be rewarded for his herpics. If there is a time travel quest in Heroica to the future, and Cronk isn't a Veteran, something is wrong with the universe.
  12. Well the quest records are held in the library, so the quests are common knowledge. However I agree that heroes might omit certain things. For instance, when I had De'kra looking through Quest 6's records the reports stated that the outlaw escaped and the quest failed. However anyone who reads Quest 6 knows that the heroes there let the outlaw escape and lied about it.
  13. I don't remember that. But then again, no one else seems to remember De'kra cosplaying as Ling-Greed during Halloween, so I might just have loose ties to reality. Okay so the battle finally heated up. The sad part is that even after taking three fourth's of her health, Leo has still lost more health than his opponent.
  14. This is a Public Heroica Announcememt.
  15. I did say almost entirely. I do feel you pain though, De'kra spent Quest 4 being useless in a fight. Aside from his high number of misses, he was the only hero in that quest to die. Sure he got more helpful near the end, but still. So yeah, I can relate.
  16. I think Alisha might just "Nur" this fight. Nur: verb Meaning 1: to redeem a past failure through an awesome victory Meaning 2: to win a battle that is almost entirely out of your favor Origin: Named for the Mage hero in Quest 10 who won an impossible battle against mirror clones of his entire party. Previously he and his earlier party had lost Quest 6 (on purpose, but Heroixa doesn't know that)
  17. This is already the most embarrassing battle of Leo's life, I assume. He is level 13.5, he has a SP: 5 shield and a WP: 6 weapon with ice powers, and he still has failed to damage a level one barbarian. Worse, she even had time to get a drink in. Yeah she has a WP: 7 fire sword and she hasn't harmed him either, but she is still a rookie. And this is two round in! Edit: looks like I missed the third round. First blood has gone to the barbarian, and Leo still hasn't landed a hit. Either the die is loaded, Leo is...not the best fighter, or Alisha is the greatest fighter this hall has yet seen.
  18. Just curious, will the arena managers replace the mead, like they do with lost health and ether? Or are single use items used up, and not reset?
  19. Leo Aragon has become unstuck in time. Past and future, memory and vision; those simplistic linear views of the world are too limiting for him. Trust me, I'm the Doctor.
  20. I am curious to see the duel's outcome. If our knight loses, then his character might develop. He just lost a battle to a level one barbarian, that has to sting. He might have to rethink this chivalry behavior in the future. It might even set him on the path to Black Knight.
  21. De'kra didn't say that, Tanma did. Tanma figures that you are talking to De'kra because Tanma used the name Leo. This is a good point, but Tanma did it because Tanma kept typing JediAnakin wrong and just gave up. Tanma will continue to refer to himself in the third person in this post to make things more confusing. Tanma knows you have strong second sword, but Tanma still think it is risky giving an opponent a sword more than double in strength to their normal weapon that also has magical powers. You don't give your foe a light saber just because you have an extra shorter light saber, even with better skills and an almost as good weapon your chances of getting decapitated will skyrocket.
  22. It appears that Leo is believes in honor before reason. You are dueling against a barbarian who seems a more than a little blood thirsty, and you give her a better weapon than what you have? Not to mention that sword is on fire! Sure she is level one, but still; the sword is on fire! By Jaller's Sacrifice that was such a Knight thing to do. Disclaimer Keep in mind this is all intended jokingly, and is not meant to be taken offensively. The voice in my head known as De'kra also wants it to be known that he does not endorse nor agree with the above statement. Thank you for your time, and play well.
  23. I also have fixed my image, and this time it shouldn't fall. By Spock's ears I love abusing power.
  24. Assassin. One, I think they seem cool, and their dark clothes look awesome. I will have to worry about De'kra's skin tone in getting him a new uniform, but I already am looking for parts. Plus a 1/6 chance of an instant kill is quite useful The second reason is that De'kra is still pretty upsert with the houses of Eubric thanks to Quest 4 and Quest 10. He knows enough about people to realize that the problem with the houses and Eubric in general is the elite of those houses, and not the masses. From what I see an assassin is made to kill quick and swiftly, to hunt down a target and to attack from both far away and close by. They are precise, and collateral damage can be avoided. An assassin is designed to fight an individual, no matter how strong or protected they are. Even a House head could fall to an assassin, if the assassin has enough skill and has enough planning.
  25. IC: De'kra twirls his dagger from the shadows, he had no qualms about fighting bandits. The shade targets the Sneak with his Prongcanis Dagger from the front row. As he leaps for the kill he suggests, "Heroes and many health target Sniper, he deal strong attack."
