Achievement Unlocked: Medieval MacGyver Ah puns, truly the calling card of a great mind. Although Vezon made that "tar duck" joke some years back, and he isn't exactly all there.
-
Wizard? Regardless I am curious to see what the Shield of an engineer is like, hopefully Quest 17 will have a chance to show us.

I think these monks will be based more on popular culture's portrayal of Shaolin Monks rather than Christian monks. I am also pretty sure they aren't based on Capuchins, a type of monkeys named for the European monks. Which is sad, as Capuchins are awesome.
-
And there are hints that the Shadeaux leader might be a vampire, which works with Necromancer. I like the theory that relations with the Ji Pei give you the monk ability, it works well with my plans. Of course, now I must resist the urge to make puns about monks and primates.
-
Does that mean you keep your advanced class, and your Expert class acts as a side benefit? So you could have as Assassin with Monk features, or a Paladin who doubles as an Alchemist? On another note, alchemists! Here's to hoping they are like the ones in Fullmetal Alchemist. Probably not, as that would ruin the value of gold.

Over 9000. But seriously, I believe it is level 30. Of course I don't recall Sandy personally ever saying that, so the level 30 thing might just be a rumor I heard.
-
I believe that this scenario was addressed, if you are fighting unarmed your level is just your power. So De'kra would have a Power of 11, if he fought unarmed right now. I like the concept of an unarmed fighter though.

Not to mention she already has an awesome sword. Cysgodian also seems to be intelligent, I am not sure how a sapient sword would feel about their partner getting a new stronger blade. Cryfder is inanimate so it might not be threatening to Cysgodian, like how most people won't feel like they were being replaced by a life sized statue, but a weapon of Zoot might come with intelligence.

Heroica RPG - Quest #20: Missing Minerals!

OOC: I take it we found nothing then? IC: De'kra's slug launched at him, and soon vanished with De'kra's garb. "Group continue on to left?" he clicked, "or right? I suggest right path, but I have no real reason for it. As far as I recall, group has no information that make right or left any preferable, thus group might just choose random path." -

OOC: think of the slug as a targeting system/pet. If a weak wall exists, just have De'kra strike that barrier. Don't worry about it crushing the slug, it can take it. IC: De'kra nodded at Dak, glad that the hybrid had begun to remember things, or at least relearn them. De'kra calmly tossed his lug-like companion at the wall, and watched as the slug disintegrated through the rock. As the slug melted through the walls, De'kra held his pickaxe at the ready. Once a weak spot was found, he would strike the wall. But are any weak walls found?" -
But he isn't a shade, he just calls himself that because he is a shadow of a person. Flipz is on the right track of course.
-
What makes you think De'kra is of a made up race? He already existed before Heoica, if you look hard enough...

Ah, but look at the size of the jaw. From what I recall of Prongcanis, their mouths stick out more, and are no where near as wide. The mouth on this skeleton is massive, and doesn't fit the Prongcanis skull.
-
I am more curious why the skeleton is only wearing a satchel. If the cloth from that garment didn't fade, why are its clothes gone? Unless the satchel is much more resistant, it should still have clothes on. That is, if the skeleton was wearing clothes at time of death.

I just saw FMA Brotherhood Episode 16 for the first time in years, and I want to huddle in a corner and cry. The fact that my sister showed me some Fullmetal Alchemist AMV's is not helping my emotional state either. Now I have to watch Brotherhood all over again, and I am already flooded with emotions and memories just thinking about it. Hopefully I can find some good subs though, I will not listen to Lan Fan's dubbed voice, so help me Truth! ...that chase scene with Wraith... -
Heroica RPG - Quest #20: Missing Minerals!

IC: De'kra paused for a time, analyzing his previous set of words. Carefully he replied, "I mean first chamber new heroes and I have not explore yet. I sorry for confusion." -

IC: De'kra clicked, "One of new heroes take satchel? It might help in organize weapons and gear. Also, now should group travel to first chamber and go right?" -

IC: De'kra awoke from his dreams, puzzled. His expressionless face gave nothing away, but there was something in his movements, like he was lost in thought. After a time he noticed the current debate and replied, "Either way group needs to remember where group has been. New heroes and I have already come to three different pathways, might exust more passages ahead. It might exist good to make a map or way of identify where group has been, in case group get lost." -
Heroica RPG - Quest #20: Missing Minerals!

IC: As De'kra rests, he notices a reply from Arthur. Even as he rested the shade replies: . -
It isn't my fault, Quest 21 has messed up the space-time continuum. Winston Churchill is now caeser, Pterosaurs are a common scene in parks, and Area 51 is a Pyramid. It is totally out of my hands. Ignore the babble above, but De'kra will wait for Arthur if Quest 17 ends after Quest 20. By the way, has Arthur replied to De'kra's last message yet? Edit: Ah, so this acts as a sort of book end for the quest? I can see that. Likewise Bluto joined the quest around that battle, and he will leave the group here. Nice storytelling element then. Yeah, I suppose only three enamored foes aren't too much, I guess I was still burned out from the love plague haunting Heroica. After all those petty romances, all aspects of attraction just seem overdone. (except magnetism, I would like to see a quest incorporating that attraction. Kind of like in the Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)
-
Why so many seductive foes in Quest 14? And why are all of them only effective against those that like females? True, the bulk of the party is male, and I am sure that if the group was mostly female they would be fighting an incubus, but that still doesn't explain away why there are both Sirens and a Succubus in the same quest. If you tie in Ellaria's current condition, Heroica seems to be taking a turn for the public service announcement. Am I just paranoid?

OOC: De'kra won't be digging yet since he wants to rest first. Keep in mind that while his method of checking the walls is unusual, it should be treated as using a pickaxe in the normal fashion. IC: De'kra nodded, and decided to rest. After the group had gotten some health back he would check the wall, but for now he would replenish his power. Hopefully the time distortions would be over now. -

IC: De'kra stabs his blade into the spider's corpse, just in case. "New heroes and I rest now?" he clicked, "Also, I check to see if breakable walls here? I ask because group might want to wait to rest before check for hidden passages. Thoughts leader?" OOC: I don't think De'kra's total health should have increased, I believe it is suppose to increases only every level. -
I saw the Season 2 premier of Transformers Prime yesterday, not sure of my overall feel for it yet. My thoughts on it are spoiled below.

I was referring to the MST3K viewings of Gamera, Catalina Caper, and The Touch of Satan. The MST3K Mantra is taken directly from the teme song, which in turn links to Tom Servo's tendency to write love songs for random characters in the movies. The fact that the logical fallacies of Tom Servo's love for Tibby the Turtle is not really questioned by me was also an acted example of suspending disbelief, and not questioning fiction. It is quite logical, just in a different level of logic. Also, it appears than an aspiring mage has learned from his prior defeats in the arena. At the risk of being the largest kill-joy on the planet, I think that you have to finish a Quest to host one. I could be totally wrong about this and either way Quest 17 could be finished by the time your quest is ready, plus in all likelihood it isn't my place to say this. You know what, just ignore this part of the post.
