  1. raindrop raises the sea? You know, more and more I think that the wisest and best should turn their attention to the good and the beautiful find myself wondering what Arthur's exact origin story is. I could check to see if he posted it in the hall or the discussion topic, but that is what we call "easy." So instead I shall speculate with the evidence I recall. I will hide it properly now, and I must point out that I am tired, and I see crazier connections than usual when I am sleepy. (Appa is teaching Momo air bending, that is how Momo can fly vertically up that enormous wall in the Season Two Episode the Serpent's Pass. Also, they are clearly the main couple) How long will it take to disprove this?
  2. I am aware of the existence of spoiler tags, I just forgot if this was one of the forums I go to that doesn't have them. I apologize for that technique and I will add them In to those posts
  3. Okay, theory time.
  4. If it was genius I would have found a way to referance 8-bit theater, they used amnesia as a weapon there. And for anyone who saw me the day when the epilogue was released, those weren't tears I was sweating through my eyes. it doesn't really fit his character though. Still if I can find a way for him to give a PSA I will if you care to know. And knowing is half the battle. Yes it is from there, and it probably is a good idea to avoid it lest you get absorbed. So many hours lost there...
  5. IC: De'kra sighed, and unleshed an enormous wave of high pitched chirps and clicks. By thirteen seconds in the "words" sounded more like whistles and gears turning around in a machine, a machine that appearantly didn't need to breathe. After a time De'kra stopped the annoying shrill shrieks and clicked, "New heros other than Dak appearantly suffer amnesia too, as new heroes forget new heroes and I on mission. Group no know what dangers down here, and group already use last Phoenix Essense. Might group fight among group, new heroes and I become weaker, might not exist strong enough to fight some dangers below. Group already attack by two groups of attackers now, others will come. Violence in group not answer." OOC: Think car alarm, or cicadas.
  6. As soon as I read that I felt the urge to do this. Ignore it if you want
  7. IC: De'kra shook his head to the group and clicked, "Head pain no help might person forget it's memories, just give person head pain. I was beat up large amount on prior mission, and I still not know I name. Familiar situations might help, certain key words and scenarios have help I remember bits and pieces of I past, but it hard to find those situations. But it really Dak decision what enact. Though whatever you; Dak, decide group must still complete mission."
  8. Fair enough.
  9. IC: De'kra glanced at Guts and clicked, "I know what gold and dean man equal, but what poorses and heel? First one equal aquatic mammal right?" Then he turned to Dak and remarked, "Depend on definition of hall, but one use of hall work. This language not I first tongue, thus I apologize might I not clear. Not from this land, makes me not understand all translations. But to move you to now, group was attack of three bandits, who not suppose to exist here. Group should probably search bandits for identification, might give clues." OOC: poor short sighted Guts, if you want to manipulate someone, you must first gain their trust. You have to seem like you care about their problems and tell enough of the truth that they believe your stories. You have to help them, give them support and advice, all the while giving them more reason to trust you. Perhaps give them subtle hints to do your goals, but make sure thatthey think they thought of it. And then one day you will have them totally in your power. But that isn't De'kra's plan. He also isn't intentionally messing with Guts, he honestly doesn't know those words, and honestly is trying to help Dak.
  10. No wait, this is a shell game! Like in the classic web comic Order of the Stick. Wren won't give you a 50-50 chance of victory if she can give you a zero chance of victory. Both Feltons are impostors!
  11. We should have a page there. I think we have acquired another tropes by now if a quota is needed. it is fine, sometimes we do crazy things that we later have to Retcon. Case in point, the first time I ever participated in an RPG (three years ago or so) my race had antimatter swords. Antimatter swords. I have a solution for those on Quest 19, the best way to find out which Felton is real is to have a race. It worked for the Autobots.
  12. Is it wrong that he sounds like a Batman villain to me? The split personality alone allows for Two Face and the 1960's Batman series' King Tut, and possibly others I don't know as well. Wait, does this mean that De'kra is the Scarecrow? He does have bare a slight resemblance.
  13. Listen up, there can only be one amnesic Rogue in this Hall with the let's d,a, and k in his name who lost his memory when he fell in battle, and it will be De'kra. Well until he becomes an Assassin, in which case there can only be one amnesic Assassin and then it will be De'kra. ...I'm not really mad, but I do see some parallels. Of course De'kra didn't initially lose his memory in a fight, bur he did lose it again during that one fight in Quest 4.
  14. IC: De'kra turned towards Guts and said, "Ignore mask person, he play and you head. Not good thing to enact." There was a hint of cold steel in De'kra's voice as he said the last statement, but nothing openly aggressive. After a small pause De'kra said carefully, "You know group a little. Group hire by miners (people who dig for metals) to find out who steal metals. Group part of big organization intend to help good people prosper, though sometimes corrupt people manipulate organization to help corrupt people. Sometimes organization send groups to guard crops, sometimes to find vandals in schools. Sometimes people hire groups to fight in wars, but organization hopefully think about employers hard before help in war." De'kra added after a time, "Organization known as Heroica, and it base in a port city ruled by six families. City not good place to live; thus Heroica center there as it need help most. You say you name Dak, but I only met you shortly before current mission. You had mention you come from village of Mopags, one I visit on earlier mission that went...wrong. Not you fault. Might you forget, Mopags have pink skin and large eyes, I think you part Mopag. Any of this sound right?" As he says this De'kra keeps his weapons down and doesn't make any sudden movements. The other amnesic keeps a respectful distance, but he doesn't flinch if Dak approaches.
  15. IC: De'kra nodded as the foe fell, and turned to face the others. "Potion go to new leader?" he suggested, "He hurt already, and heroes have no healer. New leader also heavy hitter and powerful weapon, new heroes and I need him at he best. Not sure about gold, maybe divide 10 for each of new heroes and I, and extra five go to elemtal user; as he have lowest money. It new leader decision of course."
  16. A part of me hopes that William chose a chicken...
  17. Now this? This would have been a good time for Dyric to flee.
  18. What about if the two lowest health players on a team had the exact same amount of health? For instance: Player A has 6/9 Player B has 2/7 Player C has 2/7 Shaman D rolls a shield. How would you decide then? Would the health be split among the two of them, a die rolled to decide the receiver, or what?
  19. I have all information on De'kra on my "about me" page that I deemed important. That includes his personality, as well as clues on his behavior and memories.
  20. IC: As De'kra attack his mind drifted to Dak, still unconscious if not dead. How could De'kra put him out of mind for so long. As he readied for the attack the shade asked, "Heroes revive Dak? Not fun dead, if that what Dak inow. Might not be fun unconscious either. I know he come back after battle, but while you dead all you feel hatred, fear, loneliness, pure terror, jealousy, and need for vengeance. It twist mind. Need to get him out as soon as possible." As De'kra asked this he attacked once more from the back row, his Prongcanis Dagger ready to fry his foe. OOC: but that is De'kra's afterlife, not the main one, if there is even one.
  21. True enough, although in the current fight Dak and De'kra both got shields in the same round against the same foe, and then De'kra finished the foe off directly afterwards. His luck could always change of course, but for the moment he is doing so amount of butt kicking. He certainly isn't invincible, as he is down five health, but he has gotten better.
  22. Hooray, I have successful potrayed a character as intended. Now to abuse this character building skill to make Legend of Zelda Fanfictions! Let airships and dragons battle for my amusement. It is the next logical step after Spirit Tracks. I can see how Witch works if you factor in his empathy and guilt towards the people of Uland, he would want to heal. But that won't work since he has certain opinions about clerics. We haven't really gotten to see it since he hasn't meet anyone who is very religious, but it is partly why he doesn't trust Ether. He doesn't hate Clerics though, he pities them.
  23. On that note, what do you think De'kra should become? As I have stated he will become an Assassin, but I am currious to see what you think.
  24. Perhaps, but the quest need not be all like that. The cave scenario could have periods in far larger caves, and in the underwater concept heroes could still need a Ranger. What if the heroes find themselves surrounded by soldiers in the Dolphin Dominion; a nation of hostile Dolphin warlords and warriors with power sonic attacks and a hatred of the surface dwellers? A Ranger will be necessary to negotiate with the vicious Dolphin emperor, if the group don't want to face a massive battle. So even though the Ranger can't fight, it could still help.
  25. What about if the battle is in a small cave? A cave so small that you had no backrow? You can't really use a bow or a hand cannon in close quarters, and even if you could the advantages of ranged weapons would be lost. Or what if you were fighting underwater? If you were using enchantments to breath underwater your weaponry would slow to a halt in the water, and if you were in a submarine I highly doubt it would be safe to fire cannons and bows.
