  1. Okay okay, I get the point. Robots and turtles should be allowed to fall in love, and who am I to disagree? How can we judge Tom and Tibby for their feelings? We all know that Tibby deserves him much more than Creepy Girl, at the least Tibby doesn't have any silly lines. Still, at least Creepy Girl didn't go around saying, "this is where the fish is," like some witch we know. ...Wait, you meant we should willingly suspend disbelief? I suppose that makes more sense in context.
  2. IC: De'kra flicks his Prongcanis Dagger and readies to attack the giant spider from the back row. Hopefully Tarn would get a few lucky hits, he had more than enough raw power to kill the foe, it just depended on how lucky Tarn's attacks were.
  3. But what about on journey quests like Quest 4? All of our traveling was documented by the days and nights of travel, and some battles still took days. Likewise certain quests take place solely in Eubric, and thus barely have any distance to cover. Those quests can't take days in travel, as they are still in the same city as the Hall.
  4. The only problem with that is how this works on quests. Quest 3 for instance took place in one in game day, but took much longer in real life. Quests were time zones affect game play can take much longer than necessary, which throws off the one to one scale.
  5. And thus I described sheep, and there was much rejoicing
  6. IC: De'kra nodded and clicked, "It might enact good. I will use Potion of back row, might Element Manipulater cast spell. Might Element Manipulator not cast spell, I attack of back row as I had plan." OOC: In case De'kra's words aren't clear, if the scroll is used De'kra will have a potion, if not he will do the attack described in my last post.
  7. OOC: What...die...are...you using? IC: De'kra notices as time speeds up and down, throwing off their attacks. At points the spider was blur, at other times the group were almost frozen in time. Something was throwing off the speed of time, and it wasn't without precedent. De'kra had noticed this time anomaly before, like when a hero could stop and chat despite being in the middle of an attack. Something had made this delay unstable, but what? Either way De'kra flipped to the back row, and attacked the giant spider with his Prongcanis Dagger. "After battle new heroes and I need to rest," he commented, as time slowed once more, "new heroes and I took much damage."
  8. Well if we want only "linked" characters, Hybros could work because of the De'kra-Hybros relation. And as we know, buy one Hybros get an Eric free. Interesting idea, but De'kra plans to work with the Guild in the future. The mixing of elements and altering the nature of elements is very familar to him. This is also why he will work with the Ji Pei, if all goes to plan. That reminds me, I have a concept for a Quest in my head. (Don't worry Sandy, it is different from the first two) It would connect with De'kra's origins a little, though I would probably have to do the quest as a collaboration as I have limited Legoes and time. I might not even do it, as I have considered many other quests before, but it is a heads up. Besides I will need to give a little more depth on my NPC first, and that will require someone trying to look up De'kra in the library. (I missed Dak doing it)
  9. That is why I hope De'kra eventually goes on a quest with Cinna, Tomas, and Arthur. Aside from a lot of opertunities for interactions between the dynamics of Tomas-De'kra, De'kra-Cinna, Tomas-Cinna, Arthur-De'kra, and Arthur-Cinna; they are all pretty important to De'kra. You see, only on a quest with them, and only if there is suitable tension, will I let De'kra learn the word "we." We is a very powerful word, and I am not letting him use it unless there is good reason.
  10. We have a large range of heroes currently the hall, from the legendary Cronk to Tomas to Alexis. As for how to get a new hero there, maybe we could have the time travel trouble in Quest 21 create some sort of a warp in space time, which will randomly abducting a hero from the hall and depositing it beside us in the caves.
  11. IC: De'kra suddenly flips over the the front row, since the knight's Shield should protect him from harm, aside from the poison already in his system.
  12. One of the "team" has been knocked out, and the rest of us are poisoned by a foe who currently has 95/100 health. I will probably be unable to reply if you call again, since I can't predict when and where these time freezes will occur.
  13. OOC: I don't think effects stack, but I could be wrong IC: De'kra winced as the venom struck him, but relaxed after a tie. Sure fthe venom was poisoning him, but he wasn't mutating from it. Thank goodness they were only attacked by an eight legged spider, if it had had four legs things would be much worse. Regardless De'kra asked the leader, "How long you think fight will last? If long time, I will use venom. If short time I no use it." Either way De'kra will attack from the back row with his Prongcanis Dagger, hopefully frying that arthropod.
  14. Yet there is a weapon entitled Tongue on a Stick that has a unique ability. Where is the justice in that?
  15. A Phoenix is a really good investment, for one thing they are immortal. A Phoenix you buy now could be questing with your descendants generations down the line. They will always be there, and when you die you know that at least your children will never have to watch their Phoenix friend pass away. Plus they can teach children how to read, (or is that Phonics?) and if Phoenixes here operate like in a certain movie franchise, they can cure you of poison with their tears. Which could be really useful in a battle with poisonous foes.
  16. Just curious, how much does the potrayels of the gods change per nation? For instance, might some far off land believe that Oleg and Tavok are the same being, and destroy or create depending on his mood? Or can it only be smaller differences, like instead of being associated with the sun some believe that Ennoc is the sun? All the talk of Phoenixen(?) makes me wonder if there are other species of Phoenix in other lands, like the Simurgh, zhar-ptitsa, Fenghuang, and the Bennu. If so, I call dibs on Bennu.
  17. And when she walks up she will have amnesia,.(sarcasm) But seriously, I can't even begin to comprehend existing without Internet, so I can empathize with that situation. Hopefully this event will pass soon enough.
  18. Curse my skimming eyes.
  19. And so it was that I learned that the three of them had not watched Firefly, and I pitied them. For they would not understand the humor of cowboys in space, nor how awesome lobotomized geniuses can be.
  20. Also, I can kill you with my brain. Edit: I am aware of the bestairy, I have no plans to replace it or just repost the same information. Rather I was hoping that, should there be enough desire for this idea, these bios be merged with the bestairy to provide greater details on the wildlife listed.
  21. Let us be honest, OOTS is better, but that is because it has had years to hone its skills. Given time, we shall surpass it. Speaking of OOTS, I am a little worried about Arthur using Explosive Runes. His puppetmaster knows OOTS pretty well, and only one character uses that ability. I can't help but worry that it is foreshadowing Arthur undertaking a In the future. And that would be bad.
  22. I read Darths and Droids, and I reference OOTS on occasion. One not on your list, although it is currently dead, is the classic 8-Bit Theater, an adventure based off of Final Fantasy I. So many great characters came from those tales, the Generic Half-Elf Ranger, Red Mage, White Mage, the Thief formerly known as Prince, and of course the dynamic duo of Black Mage and Fighter. Truly it will be missed. Edit: Alf's match against a level one hero is very...different compared to Leo's, in that Alf didn't take like five rounds to win. I think Alf and Leo were equal in level at the time of their matches too.
  23. As I mentioned I am considering doing bios for the wildlife of Olegaia. Any thoughts on the format below?
  24. This, this is great. I have to wonder though if he learned this through experience, or mere common sense.
  25. Well the service is up for the month I believe, so she can go into detail if she wants. Especially since I am guessing she is far away from Quest 19, broadcasting from a safe distance. ...After I did that joke with the Monkey-Cheetah, I felt the urge to do that to every creature in the game. But that would be crazy to provide background information on all of those creatures, even if I used the Bestiary as a reference point. I could do it, since I am currently obsessed with Heroica. (I shift my obsessions every so often, though Bionicle is pretty constant. Next month I'm hoping for obsessing about my evolution roleplay; I really need to update all the individual species for our second planet) But first I would like to know, what would the players think about this? Do you care either way? And would this be allowed by our local God-Emperor?
