  1. I am replying here because I did not have an IC, and I despise complete OOC posts with apassion. So that the heroes in Quest 31 don't know the details, the NPC's will be given aliases. But if both teams give up simultaneously, then only the first NPC to fall will die. Who would kill the other NPC? You could pull Wren interference, but then the feeling that the Dastan Quests are railroading the players only increases. There are some other escape routes here as well. For instance, Atramor states that he is willing to attack heroes who side with the other NPC. So if the heroes of Quest 29 on Nifty-Hat's side stop fighting, he could continue. Nix, William, and Tarn might continue as well, though they have yet to say whether or not they will fight the other heroes. So effectively the two heroes on Badgermum's side could fight Nifty-Hat and Atramor (plus or minus Tarn, William, and Nyx) if Badgermum fell, and Atramor (and possibly Nyx/William/Tarn) could still fight Badgermum and company if Nifty-Hat fell. Since heroes do have the ability to do nothing in a round, as I recall seeing in the past, the heroes of Quest 29 on Nifty-Hats side could just sit back and not fight.
  2. IC: De'kra turned to the heroes siding with Felton and clicked, "If your health is below thirty one, you should stand in back row in fight. Honestly even Cronk might want to stand in back, her power very strong. Her best attack will deal 60 damage, if I math correct. Her health not as high though, Cronk and Felton both easily have more. Any plans for fight her?" OOC: how is Felton's level the same as his power when he has a WP: 5 sword? Won't his power be 21, or his level 11?
  3. IC: De'kra nodded sadly at Nerwen and Sarick's decision before clicking, "I will use I Cloak of Elven Spy to search both Constance and Felton. Maybe .i will find clue to stop fight. Galen, Hammer Hero, Nerwen, Cronk, just like leader said, if Team must fight each other, can heroes and I promise one thing? Can heroes and I make sure not to target each other, only Felton and Constance? And as soon as Felton or Constance fall, heroes and I will stop fighting? Regardless of who is left stand? I personally will not target other heroes, and I lack of ability to target many foes should limit splash damage. I think some of Team have shields that will affect multiple fighters, so I understand if you accidental hurt others when attack Felton or Canstance. But can all of Team try not to attack each other?" To Sarick De'kra clicked, "I language skills are flaw, but I not mean to be rude. However, there are two things I am confuse and. This is not meant offensively, and if you see flaws please explain them. First source of confusion Cronk mention, I believe Dragon Knight is artifact title. Two, I probably misunderstand whole situation and I apologize if I bad language skill make this sound offense, but I think Dragon Knights rode dragons. Heroes and I know for fact that dragons were ridden of own free will? I am unsure, but I think most sapient species would be too proud to let someone ride them. Dragons of course might be different, but is there chance Dragons were...servants of sort here? I apology if I offend you, what I understand of Olegaia is limit and I knowledge of this tongue bad as well." Finally De'kra concluded, "I admit evidence not perfect, but Atramor has confirm some of what Felton said. I agree that most of evidence is shaky, but there more for Constance than Felton. I will side andFelton, unless I cloak learn something new and important."
  4. IC: De'kra suddenly remembered a conversation Nikolai had had with the heroes of Quest 29." The echo clicked, "Felton, Victor found out about Rolando's treachery, right? How he react? What he say to enact when he found out?"
  5. By Mata-Nui, Quest 30 has just totally given my a great Roleplaying situation. I have to play it carefully, but either way this could work well in my favor for De'kra's development. This could work great, depending on how the battle goes.
  6. IC: De'kra paused, before he replied, "Constance is Dragon Knight, and unless I am wrong she is strong warrior. Likewise I am guess by how many Quests Felton has been in, and potential adventures he might have been in that heroes not know of, that he also strong fighter. So it would probably be good idea to focus on Constance/Felton first, depend on who you agree and. Plus once Felton or Constance fall, all heroes will be able to search them, and can learn/prove who was tell truth. That way if wrong warrior is kill, heroes will know immediately and have strength to take on the real traitor. Afterwards...heroes can...deal and what sides heroes chose later, if they have too." The echo looked uncomfortable with the last part of his comments, before clicking, "If what Felton say is true, another piece is against Constance. However...I find it odd that Constance is not try to defend herself. She might think that it would be useless, but it still seem odd that spy not have better defense than xenophobia. Spy would not want to get caught, they would try to be more endear to prey so they not grow suspicious. But she openly hostile to heroes since start, at least from what I have heard. It seems out of place. I not sure I see here side and factions outside of Dastan, like Lion Knights...then again, enemies are in at least three groups, and one group appears to have Emperor Rolando in its ranks, so that could explain it. Cultists also seem to be natives of Dastan, so that group could work and her as well. Another explanation is that as Felton and Constance herself say, she is trust by Emperor and Victor, and Felton implies she would be above suspicion. So she was in clear to kill people. But then Victor got e,Perot to hire Heroica. Because heroes are outsiders, they would not necessarily trust her, and could look in places where others won't think to. She kight get expose, and her work might be for nothing. That and naturally xenophobia might pierce her mask, and make her lash out at what she saw as threat. All evidence still seem to point to Constance, at least what I have heard. So unless something changes, I will still side and Felton."
  7. IC: De'kra dipped his head in thanks to his fellow Rogue and clicked, "Okay that information seem important. Base on what I hear I have to agree that Constance most likely guilty. I probably will side and Felten, but I have suggestion to all heroes here. It is clear that not all heroes agree on what to enact, which make sense given situation. And so many betrayals and twists heroes have face, it perfectly understandable to have doubts. And honestly both groups can not be completely sure who to trust. I fully understand if some heroes sit out battle, or if they side and Constance. Felten has ask heroes to kill in secret, it understandable to not trust him. So I propose that if heroes end up fight on different sides here, that heroes still not target each other. So if some heroes side and Constance, then they will not target heroes who side and Felten. And heroes who side and Felten will not target heroes who side and Constance. As soon as either Felten or Constance fall, battle will end, and groups not hold grudges. Situation so confuse that there no point to hold grudge. I am not sure if I explain this thought right, so if heroes are confuse I am sorry.
  8. IC: De'kra mused the knowledge over and clicked, " Please, think hard about that event. You ever find out how Constance and Victor knew you need help? Is it possible Constance only save you because Victor found out you were in trouble, and she not want to give herself away? Can any of you fill in blanks of that story? Knowledge is power, and right now there is lot of incomplete power."
  9. IC: De'kra clicked, "There might be war between Rolando and Septrine anyway. Remember, Rolando might be traitor to Emperor, his soldiers attack Team, and he sent Team to fight good Lion Knights and other heroes at fort. And I believe commander at fort claim that all emperors knew about good lion knights. Before Team had chance to tell this to Feleton, he inform Team that Rolando traitor, and claim that Septrine know about it too. If what he say is true, then Rolando and Septrine already head to conflict. It also mean he not lie about Rolando's betrayal, though he might have told true to cur losses, no offense." "Tarn," clicked De'kra, "You say Constance show up after you drank taint fluid, and that Felten stood and you. Can you and other heroes go into more detail about that situation? For instance, were all of you and Felton poison by beverages? Or Felton not drank poison? Likewise you say Constance save you when you were defeat. Was she there whoe time, or she have just come at last second to save you? Is it possible she set you up, and save you at last second to divert suspicion from herself? Can you tell whole story of that event?"
  10. Just curious, what is thought of De'kra's speech habits? Does his acquisition of language seem natural? Is it annoying to translate? To better show his vocal evolution, here is the first thing he ever said in the hall.
  11. IC: De'kra nodded at Tarn and clicked, "I can answer what Team was enact. Team was hire by Emperor Rolando, sorry if I mispronounce his name, to kill cultists. After that Team was sent to fort, to collect supplies and kill any Lion Knights there. There Team encounter third group of heroes led by Skrall, who were help Lion Knights. Fight almost happen, but Skrall and Cronk were able to calm both groups. It turn out that the Lion Knights and Skrall's team were try to stop rogue knights, and that Emperors knew they were there and that they were peaceful. Rolando appear to be traitor, as he fled when Heroes found out that, not to mention his soldiers try to kill Team. I am not sure where third group is now, but I believe they successfully protect fort. Those heroes also mention they had earlier fought cultists alongside good Lion Knights, though they found traitor in knights." "I know almost nothing of Felton," commented De'kra, "or Constance, so I doubt I can make a decision without hear more information. Every group is thoroughly infiltrate so I not too surprise if Constance spy, but I last decision of who innocent and who to kill not work out well. But I can not choose nothing, as that could lead to danger too through inaction. I have not yet encounter evidence that Felton real or false, but he freely admit Team should not trust anyone. He want Team to kill Constance without knowledge of Emperors or Victor, but he has point that emotion ties can blind people to traitors. Evidence he give Team is this. Constance has hatred for U'Kin, and only number of days ago leader of U'Kin in Drakencourt was kill. That same night she sent Heroes elsewhere that led to ambush. I assume those heroes are you? That ambush he said prevent you from protect U'Stus. Likewise he said when Mallello, major educator was kidnap, Felton claim she try to stop Hans, Atramor, and him from search Teacher's house. That search led them to Wren, who was in city. Is all that evidence true? You agree it hard for him to have been replace? If it is, I am tempt to stand and Felton." OOC: every time I read this Dragon Knight's name I think of Badgers.
  12. Anyone know where the quote De'kra just referenced? It wasn't a perfect quote as he doesn't know all the words. Also, I should have expected these kind of twists, given the Quest Masters. No offense meant of course, but I should have expected at least some of this.
  13. IC: De'kra nodded vaguely and softly clicked, "...if Team can not trust Team's senses here, then Team only trust each other...." After a pause he chirped, "Sorry...flashback of sorts. On topic, I misunderstand your earlier words then, but thank you for explanation. I not very familiar and heroes you name, but I think some of heroes there are well known to some heroes here, if I remember records correctly. One thing I would like to know, what you think will happen if heroes and I succeed in kill Constance? If heroes and I are successful, will heroes and I probably have to flee quickly, as Emperors will misunderstand and think them traitorous? Or will her tracks likely be expose, and Emperors, though sad, accept actions of both groups? If Constance truly guilty I will still enact this, but I would like to know if Team will need to prepare to flee." De'kra nodded at Cronk's words, he hadn't considered the cultist battle. Once again Cronk proved himself to be the highest calibre of hero.
  14. OOC: and so our questions go mostly unanswered. IC: De'kra clicked in response, "I mean no disrespect to you, but Team's guide Russel was spy, Roland was traitor, and in I first quest I was manipulate by employer to start war in Uland. That war cause situation that led rogue Lion Knights here. So and so many betrayals, and fact that Wren copy your image in recent past, I must point out I am not sure if Team can trust you. Please understand that it is no fault of your, and I not necessarily distrust you, but I not think Team can trust you. If Cronk says Team can trust you I will, but I would still prefer if you have more Protosteel evidence that what you say is true. You are tell Team to kill someone heroes and I know nothing about, and in secret from rulers of this land, that just seem suspicious. Again, I mean no disrespect. You have any solid proof that what you say is true other than you word? Might Team speak to other heroes you spoke of about this, since you just left them? They might not be too far away. I have already kill innocents because of employer urge and rash decisions, so I prefer not to enact that again."
  15. IC: De'kra mused in his chirping voice, "It is possible that emperor knew about Russel, his troops seem to know about Russel. Why you think he would enact that? I remember he seem belove by citizens of that town, that might factor in. Commander, what is public opinion of other emperors? They belove by Dastan too, or are they less popular?
  16. IC: De'kra piled some earth over the fallen opponents as he waited for the other heroes to communicate. Finally he clicked, "I not familiar and concept of laddie luck, but I know of idea of luck. At start of I first Quest I suppose I could be said to have no luck, or only bad luck. Could not hurt single foe, and I die in battle too. When I return from Void to Uland, I lost all I memories again, only to get them back in Eubric. I not remember exact details even of how I memory came back, heroes on that Quest shy away from tell I. I trust them so what return I memories was probably something bad." "I not really regret those lost fights though," clicked De'kra, "those failures force I to keep try, and eventually I got stronger."
  17. IC: De'kra nodded and clicked, "It possible that opponents were traitors too, if that laughter meant what I though it meant. Still, it is best to give them benefit of doubt." After a pause he asked at a pace slightly quicker than his usual speed, "You okay? Last hero I saw who had fell in battle not all of his mind came back. And when I die in battle on I first quest, I lost all of I memories, include knowledge of Uland language. Although from what heroes and I could tell you had not die like I had, and that other hero I mention had seem...off...before he fell in battle. Sorry, I might be get off topic." The echo paused his slight rambling, as he heard the slow strong voice speak to him. The source of the voice was still unknown, and still undetected by other individuals, but the calming voice was welcomed regardless.
  18. IC: De'kra signs with relief that the battle is over, though his health was low. "Team quite wound," commented the echo as he stood up, "Healers have enough power? If there is not enough, I could take potion or two. Either way Team need to move on after Tussel. I figure that leader should get Sapphire, as only he can use it, Cronk should probably get Lance as it is only for knights. On matter of gold, if divide into shares perhaps Galen get larger portion?" De'kra noted that Galen was back on his feet, Nerwen had been right. Still, the healer had sounded kind of apathetic, which was slightly troubling. Of course, De'kra had known champions of good who seemed indifferent to the plights of others, so it wasn't too distressing. Though it was something to note. OOC: I have to ask, why is Cronk still stunned?
  19. IC: As De'kra readied for battle he clicked "Okay, so his wounds are not extremely urgent? He definitly stronger than I was in I first Quest. But are you sure heroes and I not need to revive him before battle end? I am not too much of heavy hitter, I could use Phoenix Essence to heal him in place of Hammer hero? I will trust you judgement if you think it would be unnecessary, but last time I saw hero fall, he not come all way back." If Nerwen disagrees with using the Phoemix Essence or if Xander does it instead, De'kra will attack the mage from the back row.
  20. Yeah but he isn't in quest 29 right now. Which reminds me, are there any therapists in Heroica Hall? Given how many heroes have troubled past s and multiple personalities, you think that trying to keep Heroes sane would be a priority.
  21. Well he was the only one to die in Quest 4, perhaps he has learned to recognize the signs that a death is coming. Plus as he said, there was way they could survive any hit, no matter what row they stood in.
  22. And so we have the first death of Quest 29. Well, the first death we care about, enemies don't count, unless it's Wren or someone equally important.
  23. IC: De'kra signed with relief, it seemed like the rogue was not beyond healing. "I will try to guard you from attackers while you heal him," clicked De'kra, as he whipped Kapura about. OOC: it won't be De'kra who stops you, if we didn't auto play I had played for to try to revive Galan.
  24. IC: De'kra darts over to Galan, to block off any attacks to the rogue. "I think he is still alive," clicked the echo, "but life as I knew it was different than human. Someone and better experience should probably look at him." OOC: if you auto play, De'kra will be attacking from the back row.
  25. ...need Chi Monks... All of these classes look beautiful, at least in my eyes. Best of all I already have idea for how De'kra could be motivated to become a Chi Monk, now that I know the exact details.
