  1. The Naboo Royal Starship? The Lucrehulk? The Trade Federation dropship? Ah, the other one. There are a lot of ships we haven’t gotten yet. I’m not sure how well they’d all sell, but still. Hopefully they do fill in more gaps. The Jedi one you suggested could be cool, and I like the suggestion of random or lesser known Jedi included (Yarael Poof and Yaddle, please). Padawan Anakin and blue-robed Palpatine would be welcome inclusions, too. However, there are a lot of potential sets to fill that $100-$170 spot. In regards to the Rey film, I saw that during a Collider Q&A today or yesterday, Daisy Ridley said that it is still coming. Honestly, I’m glad they’re taking their time. They need to get this one right, and though I like the Sequels, the rushed production did them no favors.
  2. If you look closely, you’ll see that Batman’s torso has different printing for the abs and the utility belt, meaning that they made a brand new torso print. A new torso print. One that is effectively the same as the last one. Ya know, to sell you on the set even more. [Upcoming DC minifigure] didn’t need a new print, right?
  3. T and N Bricks posted a hype reel on YouTube, and at the end of the 2025 teasers, there’s a clip of Homer from the LEGO episode saying that he feels like he’s seen this toy before, the toy in question being the 2014 Simpsons’ House. Since it’s been over a decade and LEGO’s adult market has expanded, I’m not surprised they’re remaking it. It’ll be interesting to see all of the differences between the two models, as well as how they do the minifigures.
  4. EVERYBODY CHILL! On Discord, there was an image comparing the new Mr. Freeze minifigure to the critically acclaimed adaptation by Arnold Schwarzenegger. It’s not an 100% match, but it looks pretty close.
  5. This kind-of makes sense to me, but on the other hand, we got an X-Men set earlier this year, and then the big D2C is X-Men themed. Obviously, they’d have to have some confidence that X-Men sets would sell to make these, so part of me feels like more sets would be a no-brainer, especially something as army-buildable as a Sentinel. Maybe that’s just my desire for more X-Men sets talking, though.
  6. So if all of the leaks thus far are to be trusted, we’re getting two different Fantastic Four sets for $60? I know that the Galactus one is unconfirmed as to whether it’s movie- or comic-based. Still, potentially getting two playsets in the same theme based on (potentially) the same sub-theme for the same price only two months apart feels weird. For the X-Mansion, I agree that it feels too small, especially compared to the height and the depth of the museum. The depth is likely just due to the inclusion of both the lawn and the sidewalk, which is unfortunate. Theoretically, the mansion itself only needs the lawn, but the sidewalk needs to be there for it to fit with the rest of the modulars, so here we are. The height, though, feels like a different issue. To me, the building as it is looks about proportional to the image from ‘97. Simply adding another floor won’t help; the whole building would need to be modded in order to make it appear similar to the source, as the front entrance and windows are at the halfway height. I think making the footprint 32x32 instead would have allowed them to scale it up a bit, where the building is more in scale with the rest of the modulars while still proportional to the source. That could also allow for the addition of the missing rooms, most notably the war room/proper Cerebro room and Xavier’s office. This scaling might be achievable combining two of the set, but as it is, I’m currently leaning towards getting one and potentially selling the Cerebro GWP to make back some of the cost. Speaking of the Cerebro GWP, I was partially excited by the fact that Jubilee seems to have an existing hair mold, as that seems more realistic for LEGO to do if they have plans to actually make her. If she’s in the CMF, though, a new hair piece with the goggles should be included.
  7. That’s fair. I agree about the Throne Room scene, it’s probably Luke’s best moment (and the best moment for any Jedi, in my opinion). Additionally, Luke’s attitude in the Thrawn trilogy was fantastic, also one of my favorite parts about that. Helpful, kind, noble-but-still-learning Luke is great. If we were to get Luke content set directly after RotJ, I’d want him like that. The potential movie wave honestly has me extremely excited, too. It almost takes me back. I know that we can predict two of the sets from the leaked trailer, but still, the thought of getting one whole wave of (hopefully) new things dedicated to just one feature is nice.
  8. Last Jedi Justification following: Luke wasn’t trying to kill Ben. From his monologue/explanation, he had sensed the darkness in Ben and went to look inside. He saw visions of destruction and death (likely Han and Leia’s, and maybe his students’), and he momentarily reacted how all Skywalkers do to these foreboding visions: poorly. He said he reacted with instinct and “thought he could stop it,” not him, but it, and then that passed as quickly as it came, but Ben was awake. Also, Ben had turned to the dark by this point; he went out and slaughtered the rest of the students directly after, not to mention all of the bad stuff he did with the First Order. Also, there’s a gif I love showing Luke’s realization after hacking away at Vader and Luke looking down on Ben, and Hamill managed to convey the exact same look. Something something poetry. Sorry, Last Jedi defender here. If you don’t like it, that’s totally fair. There are a few things I’m still iffy about with Luke, but above reasoning is not one of them. The fact that those circumstances happened, maybe, but the reasoning behind this reaction, no. Once again, if you don’t like it, that is completely fair. Also, I agree with your assessment of Lucas’s sequels. The many plans that we’ve heard of are… not it. Also, apologies that it kind-of feels like I’m following you. Yoosa must’ve saved meesa. Back on LEGO talk, though, I am also in agreement with the desire for more system sets. Hopefully we’ll get a good amount next year, especially since the new movie in 2026 will likely account for a wave.
  9. Whoa, whoa, whoa. What’s with all of these new minifigures? And only one of them is Batman? Might want to remove the Black Mercy. Now you got me missing the themed henchmen from the earlier sets. If we can’t get more unique villains in sets, a henchman or two would be good enough substitutions, even though they wouldn’t have as many new prints as the older ones did (2012-2013, specifically).
  10. I like it! It fits really well. If there’s not a giant transforming Mandalorian knight mech in The Mandalorian & Grogu, we riot. Just image the set! There’s supposedly a microscale build of Gasgano’s Podracer with purchases of $65+ on LEGO Star Wars products at Walmart. I’m not sure when the promo starts, but that’s neat. Also, my friend found a LEGO Star Wars book at Costco (in the US) for $17.99 that comes with the AAT polybag, U-3PO, and the 25th Anniversary Darth Maul.
  11. It’s a reference to the Days of Future Past cover, which lists mutants as either being “apprehended” or “slain.” It has been LEGO-ified, which works, as it would be odd to list characters as slain when they appear in the set. I do find it a bit odd that Jean in the sticker has a different hair piece than the one in the set. Maybe Jean is Mystique and Gambit is Morph, with the amount they change their looks.
  12. Gunn loves Scooby-Doo. Scooby-Doo and DC have a history of crossovers. Gunn is now the co-head of DC.
  13. No buildable Clooney with Batnipples™? For the set lineup, the person who said there will be a buildable Batman and a $30-$40 Superman set also said there will be three DC sets (75304-75306), so we should be getting one more, too. Ideally, for me, it would be another Superman set, or a comic set, but we’ll have to see.
  14. Two years from now, Professor Lex is the only minifigure “exclusive” to the mansion…. The account that posted this news (@yalllegoname4myself) is extremely recent, so take the information with a grain of salt. Also, they did not list a set number for this Sentinel. However, they also said that Thunderbolts* will not be getting any sets, and that the Marvel summer set list is 75317, 75318, 75319, 75320, 75321, 75322, 75324, 75325, and 75326.
  15. * immediately tries to figure out what this quote is from, then actually reads it * In actuality, if this is true, then it’s cool of you to admit this, rather than scramble to find something it fits or just go “well, plans change.” I’m sure there will be something that it could retroactively fit, though. What is Star Wars, if not retcons persevering?
  16. My mistake, I forgot: if we can’t see Sue’s leg printing, it’s because she’s using her invisibility powers on it. *taps head* Can’t wait for her to have the Jyn Erso head.
  17. The $55 Brave New World set is supposed to come with a Red Hulk bigfig in addition to three new minifigures, so I could see it happening. Theoretically, too, they could reuse torso and leg printing for Reed and Sue if they have the same suit and no powers applied (invisibility or stretchiness). Same with Johnny, but I think I might prefer him fired-up.
  18. I think the rumor is that it’s going to be an undamaged Mk 6. I can’t see it clear enough to tell, though, either.
  19. Yeah, that airport battle is not it. Two years ago, the Ant-Man construction figure came out for $30. So the base, the wall, the small Quinjet from the Tower, and eight minifigures are $70? I was hoping to like this set more. The logo is okay for what it is. The minifigures don’t seem very well incorporated with it, and Hawkeye should have been there for the price, but the other new minifigures are welcome. Also, Thor has a fabric cape in this set, not the rubber one! Still, though, it’s an expensive box. The X-Mansion looks great. The modularity of it with the disconnected rooms is interesting. Bishop looks unfinished in that first image, but I also can’t see any details on Iceman or Jean’s face, and as mentioned, he does look better in the background of the Sentinel image, so hopefully it will be fixed. EDIT: I didn’t see Bucky(?) in the Quinjet at first.
  20. Apparently the new leak is just the old ones edited together for clarity, so it’s not technically a new image of the box. Maybe the real X-mansion leak was the friends we made along the way.
  21. Mr. Christiansen! Hey, the big artiste! Ain’t you working on your masterpiece? Where’s LEGO DC? Brother, what do you care? You’ll find another theme somewhere Where is it? Why you wanna know? Wherever it is, is where I’ll go And what if I said it’s down below? Down below? Down below. Six-feet-under-the-ground-below. It called your name before it left, but I guess you weren’t listening
  22. The Red Hulk set is not a D2C, but it’s supposed to come out about one month after the X-Mansion, so I doubt it would be revealed before then. There’s a chance images could leak, but we’ve had less of those, lately, and the current rumored reveal date for the mansion is the 17th. I’d love to post this and then come back and find I was wrong, though.
  23. 2025 is also the ten year anniversary of The Force Awakens. If they were to choose a new ship from that movie for the midi-scale line specifically, Kylo’s shuttle makes the most sense. I’m hopeful that we do get a bit more. I feel like Rey’s speeder is also one of the most iconic vehicles from that film, and I would love to see it made with all of the new pieces and techniques today.
  24. A Night Trooper battle pack with Enoch was my first thought in regards to lifebricks’ second hint (“a set that obviously was going to happen, will split fan base over specific fig choice”). I’m not sure if that’s more reason to believe it or not. Either way, I’m hopeful we’ll eventually get Enoch.
  25. It was posted by wakebricks (I think we’re allowed to say the poster). If it is for the mech, hopefully that isn’t the only set we’ll be getting.
