Just2good just posted a video opening 40 of the Disney 100 CMF: They look really good!

The set is about what I was expecting given the piece count and previous 4+ sets. I like the (hopefully printed) temple wall pieces and the training droid. The minifigures are mostly great, too. Lys is perfect, Kai’s hair seems a little off, but otherwise he’s good, as well. Yoda is interesting. I’m glad to be getting white High Republic robes, and I’m eager to compare this Yoda head with the current movie one and the Clone Wars one. Not counting the original, we now have three Yoda heads with similar details but differing styles and colors. I am, however, baffled by the absence of Nubs. From the limited amount of comments I’ve seen, he seems to be popular, and the main trio of the show are Kai, Lys, and Nubs. He would have only required a new mold and torso, which is the same that Yoda got, and Yoda did not really need them, nor is he a main character. I’m not sure what they were thinking there, especially since it seems we are likely getting another set with Yoda, so he would be available at the same time. This is pure speculation based on my own wants, but I’m hoping that they’re justifying making a new mold for Yoda by including it in both this set and the starfighter. The starfighter then could be based on Young Jedi Adventures and include Nubs. This is probably unlikely, but then I’m confused as to why they’d make two Yoda’s and zero Nubs. At the end of the day, though, I’m glad to be getting our first High republic set, new characters, and new molds.

“That business on Cato Neimoidia doesn’t… doesn’t count.” Even though it’s not the most exciting set for those who already own previous versions, the throne room looks beautiful. I like the overall smoothness, as well as the shaping and part usage of the window. It’ll be cool to see better pictures of Luke’s new hair and Palpatine’s new face. The Endor chase looks good for what it is. The final result is a lot more dynamic than I initially expected, and it seems the forest floor is pretty well populated. Also, a new Endor Luke is very welcome, as is Leia. Seeing how good these look, though, make me sad about Jabba’s Palace. Fingers crossed for next year.

Didn’t the showrunner of Willow say that it wasn’t cancelled, they just released the actor’s contracts since they wouldn’t be filming it for while? Maybe there’s still hope.

Technically, aren’t the Schumacher films supposed to be sequels to the Burton ones? If LEGO considers them so, then they could potentially include Two-Face, Riddler, Robin, Batgirl, Poison Ivy, Bane, and Mr. Freeze. Plus the Bat-nipple suit and the Bat-credit card. Honestly, there’s probably an extremely low chance for that to happen. However, I would love a Schwarzenegger Mr. Freeze.

Thanks for pointing out the video! It’s cool to see these different angles of the figures. In regards to the Queen of Hearts, I did see her alternate face around 13:37. It’s an open-mouth, “off with their heads” face.

I believe that the IDEAS 21340 Tales of the Space Age is rumored to come out in May.

I’m not too sure that I would rely on LEGO’s communication as a basis of support. Lots of sets have seemingly come out of nowhere, and these sets were bought and reviewed from an actual store over a week before they were officially revealed. We’ll just have to wait and see, for the both the ToD and the DoD sets. Raiders and Last Crusade sets: *officially revealed* “Wait, I can explain-” Temple of Doom: “You’re getting revealed while I’m only leaked?” Dial of Destiny: “You had a set leaked? I was only rumored.” Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: “You guys are getting sets?”

I don’t think that a set consisting solely of droids would be met with a good reaction, especially today. Aside from the inevitable comments that “we could/should have gotten this or that instead,” there’s just something not as exciting about droids as there is minifigures, but maybe that’s just me. Now, if they make a pack and threw in a tactical droid, it might be different story, as with your ideas of an accompanying or split battlepack. At the end of the day, however, I feel like kids would be more likely to want a battlepack with minifigures or more recognizable characters if they had to choose one.

It worked for me, so thank you! The set looks great. A lot more teal than I remember in the film, but the fact that it’s basically just a more detailed 7623 really kicks in my nostalgia. EDIT: Corrected set number.

Since the Quantumania set, now even the three Marvels are not certain. I could see them possibly including only Carol and Monica and then having Kamala be available through the CMF, but I really hope that’s not the case.

First reaction: “Huh.” I’m always at least pleasantly surprised whenever we see new sets that we (technically) didn’t know about. It’s a neat set. It works well with the Nebulon-B Frigate, as @KevinMD said. The price definitely feels like too much, though.

The description only mentions Sattler and Malcom, but I feel like Alan is pretty important/iconic in that scene, too, so I would think that he’d also be included. If he is and just not mentioned, there is a possibility for Harding and Genaro, as well. I’m not sure, but I’m optimistic. This wave sounds great.

Depending on if the medal is the medal piece, we may get yellow jacket Luke, which would technically be new. The real question is if they will include a medal for Chewbacca.

True, but on the other hand, Star Wars sets don’t really use dual-molded legs. They’ve been around for a while, and Star Wars has had PLENTY of opportunities to use them (I’m looking at you, Han in the MBS Cantina), but I can only think of three minifigures who have actually gotten them. I would love if they were included, though. That would at least go a little in the way of justifying another Yoda’s starfighter. I would also love if they gave Han his boots in the Yavin set, and maybe some boots for the fleet troopers/honor guard, but we’ll have to see. In the wise words of Master Qui-Gon Jinn: *laughs* “Not likely.”

It feels like the Black Panther vehicle/bust/Hulkbuster days were only last week, and now we’re back. In all seriousness, this speculation is fun. Even if the results aren’t always what we wanted/thought, I always enjoy this process. In less seriousness, bring on that $525 Venomized Hulkbuster.

Yes!! Not going to lie, this might be one of my most anticipated sets. Given that the 4+ AT-ST came with three minifigures, I hope this will come with Kai, Lys, and Nubs.

I’m kind-of intrigued about the mechs in terms of what they mean for Boba Fett. In relation with Vader and a Stormtrooper, one would think he would be OT-based. However, the last OT Boba Fett we got was in 2019, before the new clone heads. I would love a new variation of OT Boba (I unfortunately feel like arm printing might be too much to hope for, though). Post-ROTJ Boba is probably more likely, but we’ll see.

Plot twist: We’re not getting Palpatine’s throne room… we’re getting Palpatine’s throne. Maybe even with a compatible Palpatine mech to sit in it.

The Up house looks fantastic! It’s definitely exceeded my expectations based on the price and piece count. The minifigures and the Dug mold are great, and it’s nice that they threw in a squirrel. My only complaint is the lack of Ellie’s chair to go with Carl’s.

In regards to the Lizard in the NWH set, correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t it reported that there was “no word on Lizard yet?” Or have we gotten confirmation that he’s not included? Given that it was just a blanket description of the set, further information could reveal that he is included, especially as I don’t think he’s been officially ruled out. I remember Luke’s X-Wing from 2021 was only rumored to have Luke and R2, and I don’t think we learned about Leia and Dodonna until pictures were leaked. I am not a leaker, so do not take this as any confirmation. Maybe I’m just being too hopeful, but we’ll have to see.
