LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Pictures of Malak can be found in the usual places. He looks really good! The mouth/mask piece is a bit bulkier than it is in the character design, but to me, it’s consistent with other pieces and has a certain LEGO charm. It’s also just a cool piece. It’s nice to be getting Malak, and to finally be seeing him (and Fives). -

After taking some time, while I do appreciate the majority of the wave and just the odd variety, I do hope that the remaining sets are for The Bad Batch season 3 and The Acolyte. -

Huh. On Discord, Brick_Clicker said “it should be around $110 for the Death Star set.” I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Still, everything is awesome. -

So, you’re telling me that this year we’re getting the Young Jedi Adventures ship, Phase 3 clone battle pack, Mandalorian S3 battle pack, Grogu/Beq escape, Mando S3 bunker, Tantive IV Hallway, Battle on Peridia, Jedi Bob’s starfighter, Sith Infiltrator, Escape from the Sarlacc, Skeleton Crew ship, Dark Millennium Falcon, X-wing and TIE Fighter dual-pack, Death Star playset, buildable Droideka, buildable R2-D2, buildable C-3PO, Podrace diorama, Midi-scale Millennium Falcon, midi-scale Tantive IV, midi-scale Invisible Hand, Luke mech, Rex microfighter, Cody Brickheadz, TPM Brickheadz pack, advent calendar, UCS TIE Interceptor, highly likely UCS Sail Barge, and now still a few more? Correct me if I’ve missed any, but this is insane! And some of those will have special anniversary minifigures, to boot! Honestly, this is one of the best years of LEGO Star Wars. My wallet is already crying. -

For Mando, it’s unclear. As of right now, the only source to say anything was Deadline reporting that the fourth season is still in development, but that may be speculation given that Lucasfilm hasn’t said anything. For Ahsoka, I’m assuming that the second season will come before Filoni’s movie, as I personally assume that the movie will serve as a culmination and finale to certain plot points, but again, that’s just me. Given the popularity of the Mandalorian and the fact that this will be the first Star Wars film in a while, I would think that LEGO would capitalize on this and give it at least the initial six set wave that they’ve done before. This is all speculation, however. -

It’s not as exciting as the news of another film, but the Skeleton Crew ship name/set name is reportedly “The Onyx Cinder.” -

Back in October, it was stated to be 75377, with 557 pieces, for (supposedly) $52.99 USD. It’s one of the upcoming midi-scale ships, though this one is said to have a small hangar for Jedi Starfighters, as well as the ability to separate the front and back halves. I’m looking forward to that feature. -

As far as I know, we have yet to hear anything. However, given that it would come out in the latter half of the year, I don’t think that’s cause for concern. -
LEGO Ninjago 2024 Rumours and Discussion

I was scrolling through Instagram just now, and I was recommended a picture from one of the leaks hashtags. I checked the user’s profile, and all four of their posts, all from four hours ago, are blurred images of sets with the CONFIDENTIAL stamp over them. Three of them are Star Wars, and one is from Ninjago. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I’m supposed to give their account name, so I’ll just describe the images, if that is allowed. I already described the Star Wars ones over on that thread The Ninjago set is a small one, just a corner build of a dark grey and black structure with a tree with pink leaves coming out of the side, green leaves on the bottom, and a white thing on top. The sole minifigure’s torso, legs, and head are all white, but they have on Kai’s mask piece from the Legacy sets and a gold katana. I’m not sure if this matches any leaks from upcoming Ninjago sets. As I said with the Star Wars ones, I’m hesitant to believe that these sets are real, but I thought it was worth sharing. EDIT: The Star Wars sets posted with this one were said to be fake, so I would imagine that this one is a fake, as well. -

I was scrolling through Instagram just now, and I was recommended a picture from one of the leaks hashtags. I checked the user’s profile, and all four of their posts, all from four hours ago, are blurred images of sets with the CONFIDENTIAL stamp over them. Three of them are Star Wars, and the other is from Ninjago. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I’m supposed to give their account name, so I’ll just describe the images, if that is allowed. The first looks to be a red and light-grey V-wing. The minifigures look to be a white and tan(?) one, someone in gunmetal grey armor with a matching helmet, and someone in black with short grey hair. The gunmetal grey armored one looks to be Wrecker, as the armor, helmet, and gun molds appear to be matching the ones he had previously, and there’s a bit of white in the helmet. There’s also a minifigure on a base like the 20th anniversary ones. This character has short, dark brown hair, a white torso with a sand blue stripe on the bottom, sand blue arms, and white legs with black boots. The second image is of an Imperial T.I.E. Fighter and X-wing dual pack, both of them looking like the ones from 2021. They are positioned very close to each other, though, seeming almost cramped. The set appears to include a T.I.E. pilot, Darth Vader, Luke in his X-wing suit with his lightsaber, and another X-wing pilot with a pistol. The final Star Wars one they’ve posted seems to be a battle pack, with a black command station-looking thing with a grey satellite dish on top. I see two white troopers, one black one, and there is also an E-Web build that looks identical to the one from the 2022 Snowtrooper battle pack with possibly another white trooper behind it. Additionally, this set also has another minifigure on a black base, this time all black with a black hood and robes and a double red lightsaber. I cannot make out the face, but it appears to have a reddish-tinge, maybe. As far as I’m aware, none of these match any rumors we have so far, except for the double red lightsaber wielder potentially being Maul or Dark Side Rey, both of which have been rumored. The similar looking builds in the case of the OT set and the E-web seem fishy, as does the lack of a visible astromech with the X-wing, but I could also see LEGO using similar builds to the past. Ultimately, I’m hesitant to believe that these are real, but I always find it fun to entertain the idea and discuss. If anyone wants the User’s name or the images (which I’ve saved), and I’m allowed to share those through DMs, let me know. EDIT: I did a bit more looking around, and these are said to be fake. It was claimed that the unnamed pilot was Jek Porkins, the V-wing’s minifigures were Wrecker, Tarkin, a pilot, and Young Leia, and that the battle pack was of the night troopers from Ahsoka, but itsjustajoe said they’re not true, except for a possible ship dual-pack with a T.I.E. variant. -

I remember there being talks about a potential second set for Captain America 4. If this is real, then everything will be split between this and 76292, and it will hopefully cover at least most of what’s in the film. However, it seems like we have a while until we’ll know. -

Now that you bring it up, an MTT is a much more likely option. It works a a companion/adversary to the Gunship and AT-TE, and they have remade it before, so we know they know how to do it. On a separate note, as someone who hasn’t gotten an Ewok since the 2009 Battle of Endor, is the Ewok in the advent calendar technically a new mold? My family and I are going out of town for the holidays, so we opened the rest of the calendar this morning. Without spoiling the specific day, when we got to the Ewok, I noticed that it looks to be dual-molded between the hood and the body/fur. Is this a new occurrence, or am I just out of the loop when it comes to Ewoks? -

Hachiroku24 on YouTube made a MOC a few years ago in LBG, and I think it looks excellent: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=TXFbNlnGX1I&pp=ygUaSGFjaGlyb2t1MjQgcm95YWwgc3RhcnNoaXA%3D I’ve always wanted them to make this ship, and to me, this is a good alternative. However, my main concern if LEGO did it is that not all of the pieces would be LBG. I don’t feel like small patches of DBG would achieve the same look. -
Personally, this series sounds right up my alley, so I am very excited for it. The robot human suit for tiny aliens is the one I’m the most curious to see how they do.

If I recall correctly, one of the hints was that the character could have fit perfectly well in a set, so that would apply to Kino. However, at the beginning of this part of the livestream (which is about all I’ve watched), one of FalconFan’s first hints was that the character is controversial, and I don’t think I’ve seen controversy around Kino. -

Brick_clicker on Instagram posted that set 43231 will be Rapunzel’s Tower and Lame Duck Inn (presumably the Snuggly Duckling), costing $79.99 and releasing on January 1st. They said it’s unclear whether it will include minidolls or minifigures. As someone who generally prefers and collects minifigures, I would be excited if it were a minifigure set, but I wouldn’t be surprised either way. The inclusion of the Snuggly Duckling hopefully points to the inclusion of some of the thugs, so that would be cool. Additionally, if they are minidolls, it could be the first time one had a hook hand (assuming Hook Hand is included). -
I feel like the Hall of Justice would be great, as it’s a more unique building, and it would provide variety in minifigures and with the rooms inside of it. In regards to Wayne Tower, Wayne Manor might similarly provide more variety than another skyscraper office building, in addition to possibly connecting to a Batcave. How they would do that with modulars, though, I do not know, and the manor has a similar issue with the tower of not having a very iconic interior. Arkham would likely come before either.

“Carry on my wayward son.” Ben Solo is a wayward son, going against his parents as Kylo Ren. “The curtains are blue.” Blue is the color of The Rise of Skywalker’s title. Curtain refers to the man behind the curtain. After TFA came out, many people thought there would be a “man behind the curtain” reveal with the giant hologram Snoke. There kind-of was one in TRoS, revealing that Snoke was a clone. Therefore, the clues give us Ben Solo/Kylo Ren, TRoS, and clone Snoke. When does Kylo Ren see a peek at the Snoke behind the curtain in TRoS? Pickle Jar Snoke confirmed to be coming. /s -
Who knows? Maybe the 4+ Batwing has a new minifigure to incentivize buying it. *insert J. Jonah Jameson laughing gif*

According to lego_minecraft_goat, it looks like 76272 might be a 4+ Batwing.

Plot twist: It’s a 4+ Batmobile that transforms into a mech.

A Sokovian church set like the Endgame Final Battle this year would be amazing. It would never come with everyone, but they could include both minifigures they’ve missed as well as some reuses.
