I hadn’t even thought about how Mystique in Secret Wars ups the odds of us getting her as a minifigure. Sabertooth is also supposed to be in X-Men season 2. Given how Lego seems to prefer Wolverine to the rest of the X-Men and how Lego is hesitant to go the bigfig route, I could us getting Sabertooth but not Apocalypse.

Given how Joker and Batman are the only two characters still out there, and one of them has a no kill rule, I think we can safely assume what happened to everyone.

The minifigure lineup reveal is going to be interesting. On the one hand, we haven’t had a new character since, I think, Bronze Tiger back in 2020. If this is indeed comic based as rumors suggest, then this is the perfect chance to introduce someone new like Mad Hatter, Black Mask, Spoiler, Azrael, or Cassandra Cain. We all know Lego loves to stick highly desirable characters exclusively in large sets like these to entice minifigure collectors. On the other hand, this is Lego DC and we haven’t even gotten a Robin since 2020.

Yeah, that’s what I meant to say.

Manipulating people and situations is what makes Joker such a formidable foe and just viewing this as a brute strength struggle ignores what the character is capable of and misses out on the most interesting part of the premise. Since this started with Phoenix Joker, let’s look at the scene from the first movie where he’s being chased by the two cops. He doesn’t have time to plan ahead. The cops aren’t stupid. So how does he get out of it? Does he overpower the two cops in a 2v1 showdown. Of course not, because he’s the Joker. He manipulates the situation, tricking the cops into provoking the mob and then uses the mob to fight his battle for him. Ledger’s Joker is never caught in a situation he didn’t orchestrate, but I imagine given how resourceful he is shown to be, that he would manage to manipulate the situation in some way to benefit him. Also, if we just go by physicality, Leto Joker is the only one who works out and thus has the best odds, so that can’t be right.

Ignoring Joker’s ability to manipulate people, arguably his greatest advantage in any fight, defeats the whole point of pinning him against people. At that point, you’re just asking if one normal guy dressed as a clown could defeat 100 other normal guys.

I gotta disagree on Phoenix. In any set of 100 men, there’s bound to be some gamers. All he has to do is say the word and they’ll be on his side.

Yeah, I’d assume it’d be added to the website by May 1st. If they don’t reveal the set until after it retires, a lot of people will miss out on it. Which means there will be a lot of demand on Bricklink and not a lot of supply. Prices will skyrocket. And who gets a cut of all Bricklink sales? Lego.

Pretty sure it’s Peter’s apartment, at least that’s what leakers said a while back. The door doesn’t make a ton of sense, but someone here suggested there may be a balcony that can be added on.

I think there’s a good chance if Arkham flops that Lego takes a break from DC for a while.

Yeah, I remember years back when these D2C sets were unveiled a month in advance. Then it became half a month. Now, with things like The Shire, it’s a week. In five years time, I predict Lego won’t let you know the set exists until at least month after you’ve bought it.

[s]So, this is 100% a pipe dream, but it’d be great if we could get some building sets similar to the new Spider-Man city sets they’re getting over at Marvel. Sure, a Flash Museum, Lex Corp, and Daily Planet are not happening anytime soon. But maybe a GCPD or a Wayne Tower. [\s] Do you guys think we’ll ever see another Lego Batcave?

Could 100 men beat 1 Jonkler? 🤔

Use masking tape or get a couple of spares. Before June 1st. Likely sometime after May 15th. 4+ Batmobile, system scale Batmobile, and a large display set (probably a Batmobile).

Depends on the Jonkler. Just 1 Titan Jonkler could take a gorilla. 100 Phoenix Jonklers would lose to a gorilla. Leto Jonklers of any number would do things to a gorilla we can’t talk about in here. Ledger Jonklers and Hamill Jonklers would beat the gorilla using their wits. 100 Nicholson Jonklers would be a toss up.

If you don’t mind it not being 100% purist, a white paint pen can fix that problem relatively easily.

I forgot about Eternals. But, then again, so did Marvel.

The real reason we didn’t get Thunderbolts sets is because they’re not all wearing the same costumes. Since Endgame, Lego only makes team up movie sets if they all wear the same exact suits.

Doomsday releases less than a year from now and the sets likely release next March. I doubt that’s enough time for either Lego or Marvel to react and make changes if Thunderbolts is a huge success. Best case scenario is probably a Legacy set, but even that probably wouldn’t release until after Secret Wars.
