  1. Where’s Superman?!?! I don’t know what man you’re talking about. ugly man in a mech
  2. Superman here to save the day!
  3. Agreed. The design isn’t that great and there were likely better uses for the budget.
  4. I just use the Peter Pettigrew head and ignore that he’s got a face on the back.
  5. Ditto. I really hope they give her yellowish-green skin with a dark green outfit, but more likely they’ll go with light nougat skin and either green or bright green for her outfit.
  6. Not surprised by the reused Joker head. Like others, I’m not a fan of that head. Can’t quite put my finger on what it is, but it looks too goofy IMO. Torso and legs look good, although IMO TLBM jumpsuits were better. Not surprised by the gloves either, seems like an obvious way to save money. Damien looks fairly accurate to that specific design, except his mask is green when it should be black. Can’t say I care for him or this outfit though.
  7. Joker, Batman, Harley, and Freeze are the only minifigures they can reuse. The guards are likely both purist. Let’s assume we get jumpsuits and normal suits. That means there’s ten new characters with a minimum of ten new torsos and ten new heads. Now, add in the prison jumpsuits which we know have printed legs and Batwing also has printed legs. So that’s ten new heads, 11 new torsos, and 2 new legs at a minimum. There’s no way we’re getting that many.
  8. Not true about TLBM Arkham having gender neutral jumpsuits. Poison Ivy and Catwoman have a different torso print than the male inmates. Penguin was an inmate at Arkham Asylum in the 2017 The Lego Batman Movie. His inclusion in Arkham as an inmate is therefore canonically accurate and it is you, my friend, who does not understand the lore.
  9. The main issue I see with that is they don’t all have the same skin color. Joker would need white hands. Harley would need either white or light nougat. Most of the rest would need light nougat except Killer Croc and maybe Poison Ivy. Maybe he’s really ugly and they don’t want to look at him.
  10. The real crime here is Ozempic Penguin.
  11. * Venom vs Spiderman Thanos vs Ironman Black Panther vs no one
  12. TBF, we are getting our first Arkham in 8 years and a bunch of villains we haven’t seen in around that long. So, we are back, just not as much as any of us would have liked.
  13. “OMG, a Lego Superman minifigure with TRUNKS*!!! LEGO DC IS BACK!!!!” *trucks are printed on plain blue legs à la Cyclops
  14. Probably minifigures so they can reuse the jumpsuits. Also, if they were bigfigs, it probably would have been mentioned. I would like a bigfig Bane, just because I already have the minifigure one. Killer Croc, I’d rather have a minifigure for just the opposite reason. I’m really glad they never made this design a reality. The torso being massively out of proportion with the head and legs is much worse than the bigfigs being out-of-scale with minifigures.
  15. What would a second DC CMF even look like at this point? Batman and his A-list villains and sidekicks?
  16. Lego has already said they don’t celebrate anniversaries for the Superhero theme because they can’t decide whether to go with the 2012 official starting year of the theme, the 2006 start of Batman, or the 2002 FA of Lego Spider-Man in the Studios theme. Unless they changed their minds or are making an exception for Batman (either of which I guess is possible), I wouldn’t count on a 20th anniversary wave. As far as a remake of the 2006 wave (or the 2012 wave which was itself a remake of the 2006 wave), I think it’s possible. Assuming Lego is looking to make more DC sets in the future to take advantage of the DCU, relaunching Lego Batman with comic sets seems like the natural place to start.
  17. Hopefully they bring back her mask. The printed made sense for the last two versions since she needed the stitching and gray/black details, but the mask looks better overall. I’d assume Lego would carry on with their yearly superhero modular building. My guess for next year would be the Baxter Building. I’m assuming some version of it will appear in Doomsday. This way they can tie into that movie. And, unlike this year, they could throw in Avengers and X-Men to get the minifigure count up to a decent amount. (The Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer is only 5, and that would be pitiful for a $300+ set). As for DC, there’s a number of buildings they could do: Wayne Tower, GCPD, Iceburg Lounge, Wayne Manor, Star Labs, Flash Museum, Daily Planet, Lexcorp, and Hall of Justice. IMO, depending on how well Superman does, I could see the Daily Planet or Hall of Justice being our next DC modular as, with Marvel, Lego seems to try to avoid giving a character more than one modular at a time to avoid cannibalizing their own sales.
  18. Wouldn’t surprise me if he ended up being in the GWP, reusing the same face as TDK one but with the hair recolored to black. I assume a prisoner transport would be included with the set itself, but knowing Lego, I could also see that being the GWP.
  19. That sure is a funny way of spelling Joker
  20. Whoops. Meant to say only villain, not character. Then again, he apparently kidnapped Poison Ivy, so maybe he is a villain.
  21. As funny as this is, it’s not exactly true. The 2017 TLBM Arkham set didn’t include Penguin. But he was included in his Arkham jumpsuit with the ultimate collection book. But, while we’re talking about Penguin, we need to talk about Poison Ivy. She was included in the 2006 Arkham, the 2013 Arkham, the 2017 Arkham, and now the 2025 Arkham. This makes her the ONLY character to be included in every Arkham set (ignoring that Juniors wall from 2019). She has only been included in three sets that are not Arkham. The first of these was in the 2012 Batcave where she was being illegally held in a cage. Not much of a step up, tbh. The second was the Scuttler where she finally regained some dignity. Which she immediately lost in the third set where she decided to team up with Firefly (somehow not the dumbest team up she has been in). What is she doing?! IS SHE STUPID???
  22. We should have taken the hint when The Lego Batman Movie included an escort and a r@p157 but not him. I guess the whole p3d0ph1l3 thing is where Lego (quite understandably) draws the line. Maybe he’s breaking the others out? Or, more likely, Lego doesn’t care and just sticks everyone in Arkham whether they belong or not. I fear they may use this torso for him 🤢🤢🤮🤮
  23. Jonkler was just in a juniors set last year (https://brickset.com/sets/76272-1/The-Batcave-with-Batman-Batgirl-and-The-Joker) (oddly, already discontinued) and Harley could reuse the head from her BtAS as a comic figure. Ivy will probably just use a generic female head, if I had to guess, which is disappointing because I’ve been waiting for them to give us a green skin variant for the past decade. A remake of the 2006 and 2012 waves for next year would be great way to revive the theme. Something along the lines of: - GL mech with Jon Stewart and Hal Jordan ($10) - 4+ Batcycle with Catwoman ($20) - Batboat with Killer Croc ($35) - Lex Luthor mech with Superman and Supergirl ($50) - Batwing with Joker and Harley and Helicopter ($60) - Batmobile with Robin and Two Face and his truck ($80) - Batcave with Batgirl, Robin, Riddler, and Bane ($120)
  24. Looks like Batsignal is the only new character which is kinda disappointing. Also kinda odd that he made the cut over characters like Cass, Steph, and Azrael. Must be one of the designers favorites. On the other hand, we’re finally getting comic Bane and comic Killer Croc for the first time in close to a decade. And Robin has finally returned after 5 or so years. 16 minifigures is great news, although it sounds like some, maybe most, of the villains will be in jumpsuits which is disappointing. The villain lineup is solid, most of the major players are here (except Two Face) but it would have been great to see some new faces (we are never getting a Mad Hatter, are we 😔). The build sounds… interesting. Apparently it’s on a baseplate and is an inverted corner. I don’t think we’ve ever had a modular building like that. I’m looking forward to how this thing turns out.
