  1. YOU could say that. I, on the other hand, have too much self respect. 😝
  2. Oh, so what we’ve been getting for the past five years?
  3. Every DC thread is secretly an Aslume thread. I, for one, cannot wait for Lego to finally experience the terror of receiving nothing but Batman minifigures.
  4. So close. 9th day, 9th month, 2025th year. 9-9-2025 (or 9-9-2025 if you use the stupid date format). 9 - 9 -25 = -2025 Upon purchase, you lose 2025 minifigures from your collection.
  5. September, same month as the Black Pearl. We’ll probably get a partial figure list early July and the final list right around the reveal, if the other superhero modulars are anything to go off of (we got the figure list for the X-Mansion around 4 months in advance, but that seems to be a special case given we knew about that sets existence close to 18 months in advance).
  6. Not that I have to ask, but this is just a wish and not a leak, yes?
  7. IMO, the Batboat doesn’t have the same appeal as the Batmobile and the Batwing, which is why we haven’t gotten one in a while. Batcopter falls in the same category. As for the UCS BtAS Batmobile, I could see it coming with Batman, Joker, and Phantasm. Lego knows that exclusive minifigures are a massive draw for these sets, so they’re bound to include at least one. IMO, earliest we see more Superman sets if the movie does well is spring of 2027. And I don’t think they’ll be based on the movie. Not only would a couple of years have passed, but comics have more visually interesting characters like Brainiac, Bizarro, Lobo, and a bunch of guys Lego won’t be making that can be thrown in sets as opposed to Engineer, Ultraman(?), and the Time Travel Outfit Avengers. And if I had to make a guess, I’d say it’ll be a Fortress of Solitude.
  8. CMF looks good. Definitely not my first choice for a CMF series, but I may pick them up.
  9. They’re probably right to skip this one, tbf. Stop motion animated movies don’t tend to do well. The most blatantly obvious movie to make sets for currently has its merchandise flying off the shelves with not a single LEGO set in sight.
  10. My predictions: - 4+ Batwing - minifigure scale Burton Batmobile with Batman and Danny Devito Penguin - UCS BtAS Batmobile Between Avengers Doomsday releasing and Lego not having enough faith in Superman to release a set, I don’t have much hope for next year. Especially when one of DC’s biggest releases next year is a Green Lantern TV series. Love the character, but Lego has been scared to touch him ever since the 2011 movie.
  11. Both gained/learned of their powers when the former great one of their order died tragically. Both were trained by said former great one’s friend, much to his reluctance. Both fought back against corrupt and useless councils that self-appointed themselves as the peacekeepers for the universe. Both fight a former member of the order who left due to the councils failure and embraced the evil side.
  12. We will definitely get Xavier. It will be the same one we got in the X-Mansion. 😝
  13. Yes, but if Lego made a set for Superman they couldn’t make ten new Endgame final battle sets and fans of that scene would have to be content with only the thirty Endgame final battle sets. Do you want Avengers Endgame final battle fans to starve?
  14. This probably just means Doomsday sets will be delayed from March to October, but it’d be nice if Lego could add an X-Men set or two to their spring lineup, since X-Men ‘97 season 2 will probably be releasing sometime next spring.
  15. No, Big Wheel is being saved as the big bad for the next three phases: The Big Wheel Saga.
  16. That’s an interesting choice for the villains. I can’t say I know much about them, but glad they’re still going with new villains with each film (something that can’t be said for the Batman movies). Hopefully we get comic based versions of them at some point.
  17. Given they’re 18+ and Lego seems to have less qualms about “R-rated” characters, that would be a good way to get Kingpin, Bullseye, Daredevil, etc.
  18. Oh, for sure. Lego will still be pumping out Spider-Man sets long after the superhero theme is dead. When I refer to comic book sets and getting comic book sets, what I typically mean is comic book sets for everyone but Spider-Man since we get plenty of those still.
  19. Oh, I wasn’t disagreeing with any of what you said about that. I was disagreeing about us being due for comic based sets. If those sold well, we’d still be getting more than a handful of junior sets every year. I think we’re doomed to nothing but movie sets from here on out. The only question is whether they’ll focus on new releases or old ones.
  20. I doubt it. If the DCU does well and the MCU regains its footing, we’ll get sets for new releases from both. If only the DCU does well, we’ll see a bunch of DCU sets and some MCU legacy sets. If the MCU regains its footing and the DCU flops, we’ll see what we’re seeing now but with more Marvel sets focusing on new releases. If both flop, this line will just become MCU legacy and various Batman media sets.
  21. It’s sad that we’ve reached the point where we’re begging for Chris O’Donnell Robin.
  22. So thankful Lego decided to make sets for Superman instead of doing something stupid like, IDK, a Batmobile for Batman Forever that costs $100. Boy, what a mistake that would have been. 😛 Some set ideas that could have been (spoiler tags don’t work, so just close your eyes past here): Superman vs The Hammer of Boravia ($30… $40) includes Superman, Lois Lane, Hammer of Boravia as a brick built figure with a guy inside Superman vs Kaiju ($80) includes Superman, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, Mr Terrific, giant Kaiju build The Fortress of Solitude ($100) includes Superman, Lex Luthor, Engineer, Ultraman, Krypto, two robots, and the Fortress of Solitude
  23. I’m really disappointed that they’re still using red for Bart and Lisa. That reddish orange color they just introduced last year is far more accurate.
  24. The state of the theme for the past half-decade.
