  1. The joke is that there isn’t just one movie where Batman calls on the JL for help. That happens in Justice League (both cuts) and The Flash. (All three are complete megablocks.) Yeah, I have a feeling the next modular building will be the Baxter Building to tie into Doomsday. If the Daily Planet rumor turns out to be true at all, it’ll probably be something like this. Supposedly the Superman not-sequel will be coming out in 2027. Maybe we’ll see a Daily Planet modular then.
  2. I don’t hate The Flash as much as I should, but ain’t no way it’s the best movie in any category.
  3. Most Batman’s are fools who don’t realize they exist in a comic book world and thus comic book rules exist. The most successful Batmans like Adam West and George Clooney are fully aware of this and use it to great effect, surfing down from outer space or rehydrating world leaders with their bat-hose. Meanwhile, losers like Bale and Pattinson try to act like they live in a sensible, logical world. Bale, of course, learns from his encounter with Joker that he needs to live without these rules and uses comic book logic to survive an atomic bomb, leading to his first meaningful victory in the series.
  4. Most Batman films end on a dour note. Batman Returns ends with him still searching for Catwoman. Mask of the Phantasm ends in a very similar way, but with Andreas taking the place of Catwoman. Batman Begins ends with Batman and Gordon looking into a new masked killer The Dark Knight ends with him being hunted down BvS ends with Superman dead The Batman ends with him and Selina splitting up Ironically, Rises might have the happiest ending and he’s presumed dead.
  5. If it is the ‘66 Batmobile, hopefully Batgirl is included. She’s the only major character from that show that hasn’t been made into a minifigure.
  6. Good news, everyone! Lego knows Superman exists! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DN-L8B_DLO7/?igsh=cWFrZGgzcnk2NXZl Also, it’s kinda funny that there’s only one Superman set currently on shelves so they just have to have him fly around random Lego displays. It’s mind boggling to me that we haven’t gotten a single Teen Titans set given how popular TTG was with Lego’s target age group. Titans Tower, the T-Car, and a brickbuilt Trigon would all make for fine sets. Instead, they just threw half of them in as hostages for Joker’s funland and called it a day.
  7. Wayne Manor, Wayne Tower, Iceburg Lounge (arguably too adult), Gotham City Police Department, (maybe) Ace Chemicals, Amusement Mile/Joker’s Lair, Lexcorp, Flash Museum, Hall of Doom (wouldn’t make the most sense as it’s in a swamp, but Arkham and X-Mansion arguably don’t make sense either being in a city), Titans Tower, and Belle Reve (also technically belongs in a swamp). Iron Heights, Queen Industries, Kord Industries, Stagg Industries, and Star Labs could all also work if the DCU gives them some love, but rn they are far too obscure.
  8. Seven Batmobiles in one year seems like a bit much, tbh.
  9. Finally, a worthy opponent for Morbius.
  10. It’s been six weeks since part 1 of the Lego Marvel 2026 set list leak. Part 2 should be dropping any day now.
  11. Hey! I’ll have you know we got nods to the other heroes in the new Arkham Asylum… set’s box. That’s gotta count for something.
  12. It’s a shame Lego is currently allergic to villain vehicles for some bizarre unknown reason. The Jokermobile, Penguin’s Submarine, Two Face’s armored car, or even that stupid tank Mr Freeze drove in Batman and Robin would all be welcome alternatives to the ongoing onslaught of Batmobiles.
  13. I’m probably in the minority here, but I’d be surprised if we got another Pattinson Batmobile a year and a half before the next movie drops. IMO, if they did have a set planned, they would probably hold off. (Also, and this should go without saying, but game designs are very rarely an indicator of future sets and minifigures. Heck, as others have pointed out, the Tumbler in the game doesn’t match either of the last two, and I really doubt we’ll get one next year given we already have one on the shelf). And although I kinda started this (as a joke), I doubt we’d get three Batmobiles released at the same time. We’ve often had multiple Batmobiles on the shelf at the same time, but I can’t think of a time we got even two Batmobiles released together (except when one was 4+). Releasing three Batmobiles at the same time, same age range, same price sounds like a perfect way to cannibalize sales. I think we’ll probably see 3 Bat-vehicles, but not all the same. IMO, here’s the two different set lineups I think we could see: 1. Batmobile, Batwing, and Batboat all based on the comics, each with a different villain. One of those villains is Clayface. 2. A movie Batmobile (either Pattinson or Affleck, with Riddler or Superman respectively), The Bat from Rises with Bane and Catwoman, and a comic Batboat or Batcopter with Clayface. And then the last set would be the Batman logo with Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Joker, and Harley Quinn.
  14. Evidently, Unibricks posted the wrong set number before. Iron Man buildable figure is 76344 not 76334. A book nook might be back on the table. I’d be surprised if leakers knew at this point which figures are and are not in Doomsday sets. Minifigures are usually among the last details we learn about sets and movie sets are typically kept under wraps better than non-movie sets. Plus, the sets wouldn’t come out until next fall so I can’t see leakers teasing his inclusion this early.
  15. There’s been hints at Nightcrawler for a while. I’m willing to bet at least one of the sets is for X-Men ‘97, probably a Sentinel.
  16. It’s a buildable Iron Man.
  17. Batwing vs Joker Batmobile vs Two Face* Batboat vs Penguin Take it or leave it *Arkham jumpsuit variant
  18. LEGO DC IS BACK!!! https://imgflip.com/gif/3jtvd6
  19. This would never happen, but it’d be great if it did. And I’m sure Lego wouldn’t mind being able to squeeze 4 new characters out of 1 new torso and 3 new heads. I’d argue that Giant Sized X-Men 1 is the more iconic cover, but IMO, it wouldn’t work as a book nook.
  20. The X-Men In all seriousness though, if it is a BookNook for Spidey, we’d probably get Oscorp, the Bugle, a couple of generic buildings, and Spidey, Doc Ock, Goblin, Venom, and MJ.
  21. Such a bizarre choice. Almost as odd as Talia’s magic box that pops out little Batman clones.
