Baron Peter Nash thoroughly enjoyed the Highland Games. Afterwards there was a need for a refreshing drink. His friend Padre Azúcar, known from the sugar cane industry, had further expanded his empire with various drinking establishments. His recently opened the "Tipsy Mermaid Pub". It seemed like a great option for drinks in Wullham. Padre Azúcar looked from his private room on the first floor at the visitors below. It was an excellent move to organize a special party in Wullham; it was now popularly called 'Oktoberfest'. There was solidarity between Corrington's various land and sea forces. They all enjoyed a refreshing beer or warming whiskey. On this special occasion, money would fly! *Ka-ching* --- Build will be licensed in Wullham by @Bricksbypidy. Yes, I did! But building these diorama's with real bricks costs me a lot of money and space (they are really huge!)! Besides that not all the color-brick combo's I've used are existing in real bricks... Thank you all for the positive feedback!! -

Recently Capt. Willem van Baarle returned in Mesabi Landing from his pirate-hunting mission. He was leading a squadron out of Port Woodhouse that included his frigate the HMS Phama, the man-o-war Semilliante and the HMS Melampus. Van Baarle found his prey in the East Prio Sea when they encountered Kane's new flagship, Perla de Labuan, a class 9 galleon, leading eight(!) other ships under his black flag. After a fierce naval battle, the battle ended in a draw. The HMS Phama sent Paraiso to the sharks, but unfortunately his HMS Melampus did not survive the battle and was shot by a Black Flag ship. Capt. Willem van Baarle: Now, back in Mesabi Landing, Van Baarle was licking his wounds. He was determined to expand his fleet with a number of new high class vessels. To get an even stronger fleet, more ships are needed, which requires a special commander. Van Baarle's good friend Baron Peter Nash, a wealthy man, provided this investment. Captain Willem van Baarle was promoted to Commodore... and if the fleet grew fast enough, he might even become Admiral soon... Let's kick some Black Flag *sses! --- Collab build with @boeing_787_8_dreamliner. He did a major part of this build. Class 7 Vessel "HMS La Belone" is bought by Bricksbypidy from @boeing_787_8_dreamliner, and is licensed by @Bricksbypidy Property type: Ship Credits: - Design vessel: @boeing_787_8_dreamliner - Wave technique with nets: Tips & Bricks Technique # 647

Baron Peter Nash, Architect, is well known in Elizabethville. He has recently completed several buildings here: Horse breeding Elizabethville Hippodrome, Elizabethville Horse logging, Elizabethville Elizabethville is known for its horses. Many horses are bred here and some of the best horses in the world come from here. It is therefore not surprising that there is a great demand for carriages and carts here. The sheet isn't correct. The HMS Atropos is MY ship. I bought it a few months from @DeathCap. Would you please change it? ... and a question. When a ship is 'damaged'. What does it means? Is it still available or should I do something first? -

After the Eslandolan and Garvian invasion of the Isle de Medio thousands of Mardierian settlers left homeless and facing starvation. Corlander efforts to assist were met with fierce resistance from Eslandola and the resulting Nova Malto crisis was resolved by shipping large numbers of Marderian refugees to the Corlander island of Alicentia for resettlement. Marderian refugees settling down to life as Corlander citizens in New Haven. The influence of the Marderians was clearly visible in the architectural style of the buildings. Sir Peter Nash OC, Baron of Swanley, was commissioned by a Mardierian friend to design a luxury bathhouse. Peter took this assignment with both hands and designed a bathhouse in Marderian style. The bathhouse is a luxurious place to relax and do business. Peter relaxed by the water and enjoyed the various drinks and food provided to him by the servants. A number of other gentlemen enjoyed the hot water while discussing business matters. --- Build will be licensed in New Haven by @Bricksbypidy. On the outskirts of Jamestown, lies 'Lagoon Lockup'. This colorful little 'settlement' is located on a tropical lagoon with birds, flowers and crystal clear water. The small 'settlement' consists of a 'lockup' with a few number of supporting buildings. The cannons defend this small suburb of Jamestown. Leader of this 'Lagoon Lockup' is Sebastián Enrique. He's the left man on the roof on the left. Recently his men captured the infamous pirate Francis Drake. If you look closely you can see him behind the prison gate on the right. Rumors are circulating that all his loyal friends will gather and attempt to free him from this plight. The guns are loaded, the Corrish men are on alert, scanning the lagoon for intruders. In the distance a small rowing boat approaches... it reaches the lagoon through a narrow passage between two small, overgrown islets. Could this be the start of the liberation operation? --- Build will be licensed in Jamestown by @Bricksbypidy. Property type: Large Art and Culture Dimensions: 98 x 82 studs Total parts: ~10,150 Credits: - Design buildings: @sleepless_night_bricks (digital build by @Bricksbypidy) --- With this build I've achieved: - a total of 4 licensed builds in Jamestown (Jamestown has 151 licensed builds) - a total of 2 Large and 2 Royal builds in Jamestown (Jamestown has 19 Large and 4 Royal builds) - completing Art & Culture category for Jamestown to reach settlement level ''Capital City' (it needs some Artisan (30), Commerce (20) and Factory (27) buildings).

Part of the Armed Forces of Corrington is the Highland Regiment of Foot. Every summer these Highlanders come to Wullham for the traditional games: The Highland Games. This event is held every year. Certain aspects of the games are so well known as to have become emblematic for the Highlanders, such as the bagpipes, the kilt, and the heavy events, especially the 'Caber Toss' and 'Weight over Bar'. While centered on competitions in piping and drumming, dancing, and heavy athletics, the games also include entertainment and exhibits related to other aspects of the Corrington Highlander cultures. During the Highland games, various groups of Highlanders compete against each other in various 'heavy events'. Some examples of 'events' are: 'Stone Put', 'Keg-tossing (Weight over Bar)', 'Caber Toss' and 'Tug of War'. This event, the so-called Black Watch, MacDonald and Wemyss will compete against each other. Every year there is a guest jury of 7 people. This consists of people who have been of great importance to Corrington in the previous year. This year this honor has been awarded to (from left to right): Jim Corbett, Padre Azúcar, Willem van Baarle, Baron Peter Nash, Alexandre Bras-de-Fer, Edmund Cooke and Bernard Claesen Speirdyke. --- Build will be licensed in Wullham by @Bricksbypidy.
