[TC] Storm Chasers, Wullham
Bricksbypidy replied to Bricksbypidy's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Ah. Sorry. Sean disappeared. Peter stood on the roof of the carriage. I’m busy with another Cat A build. If it doesn’t count as an entry, it’s just for fun. -
My other ideas are to different to segway them into cat B. But maybe I build some Transition Builds just for fun. (Not participating for prizes).

[TC] Storm Chasers, Wullham

My first idea was to create a tornado too. With ‘flying’ cows.. but I had to reduce my ideas to become within the maximum of 32x32 studs. -
Storm Chasers Wullham [Entry Category A] Can you participate more often? I have another idea for category A...

16.02.624 It started as a beautiful sunny day. Sir Peter Nash, Earl of Swanley, enjoyed his usual morning ritual: 9am = tea time. Peter was sitting at his 'own' table in the Tipsy Mermaid Pub in Wullham, Panarium. A small ray of sunshine fell through the window onto his face. "Hmm.. wonderful.., what a wonderful world." Unfortunately, this moment of enjoyment was short-lived. A thick, black cloud passed over the sun. Peter looked through the window and looked doubtful. "Hmm.. this looked strange." Sean McCasey sat at the bar and looked at Peter's troubled face. “Hi, are you okay?” he asked. "I don't know..., I'm seeing strange weather patterns," Peter replied. Sean came to stand next to Peter and also looked outside. “You're right, I haven't seen this before,” Sean said. Thick, black, curly clouds with menacing heads filled the sky. In the distance it started to thunder. Not just a little bit, but so intense that no one in Wullham had seen this before. “Come on, Peter!”, Sean said. "To the TIC!"* (*Tornado Intercept Carriage). Peter and Sean ran to the carriage, which was equipped with a full range of weather instruments. Sean urged the horses on and they rode at high speed through the open countryside. The wind blew harder and harder... After a while, Sean stopped the carriage. “Get on the roof!”, Sean shouted. Peter took his dowsing rods and climbed onto the roof of the coach. He had to make an effort to hold his own. The weather conditions deteriorated every minute. "And... what are the results??", Sean shouted over the sound of the storm. "Well, we've never had these wind speeds here before! Something big is going to happen!! We have to get out of here! Hurry!", Peter shouted back. There was no response. Peter looked around, but it was dark. He couldn't see anything in front of his eyes. Where was Sean? “Sean!!,” he shouted. But there was no response... "Sean..., no!!"

Should be nice! -
I like the challenge. But wanted to license it in a Corrington settlement! So I had created my own Oktoberfest in Wullham.

With this Forest Lodge, Wullham is approaching the settlement level of a city! Wullham only needs a Royal Factory to become a 'City'! This Forest Lodge is located in one of the few forests on the island. A small family lives in this lodge: a man, his woman and their son. The man and his dog are on their way with their sheeps to the grass meadows that are abundant on the island. The son is fishing on the jetty; the woman is standing just outside and greets a passer-by. All in all a peaceful scene at Wullham. --- Build will be licensed in Wullham by @Bricksbypidy. Property type: Large Residence Dimensions: 82 x 82 studs Total parts: ~9,600 Credits: - Used some great tree techniques by @ Ranghaal (Instagram) --- With this build I've achieved: - a total of 5 licensed builds in Wullham (10% of all my builds) - (Wullham, New Haven and Elizabethville are the three settlements with my highest contribution) - a total of 4 Residence buildings (8% of all my builds) - a total of 25 Large buildings (52% of all my builds)

Curious about ERA III! -
“Good luck, buddy!” Baron Peter Nash patted his friend Commodore Willem van Baarle on the back. "It will be fine!" Willem walked on reluctantly. On the one hand he had been looking forward to this, but on the other hand he was also dreading meeting her. According to the stories, she would be a friendly lady, but you never knew. After all, she was the heart of the empire! Like everyone in Corrington, Willem would die for her. Actually, if he looked deep into his heart, he was also a little bit in love with her... But he didn't express that of course! "Welcome to Qeens' Palace!". Willem was woken from his thoughts by an older man with a monocle. Van Baarle did not know this man, but he looked like an important advisor. “Follow me...”, the man with the monocle continued. Willem walked behind him and saw a large golden double door in front of him. The palace looked beautiful with richly decorated pillars and a decorated white marble floor. The man opened the heavy double doors and she stepped into a spacious throne room. There she sat in the distance. Beautiful, in a red dress with a golden crown, illuminated by the sunlight from the window behind her. “Queen Annette,” muttered Capt. From Baarle. He felt a knot in his stomach. 'Monocle-man' walked into the room and eventually stood next to Queen Annette. There were several guards standing to the left and right of the large hall. Willem steeled himself and walked towards Her Royal Majesty. He stopped just before the throne and bowed slightly. Queen Annette nodded with a smile and stepped down from her throne. "What can I do for you, Commodore? I have heard a lot about you. I understand that you are in charge of a large fleet. Is that correct?". Commodore Van Baarle nodded, "Yes, Her Royal Majesty, I will do everything to protect you and your kingdom." "She looked even more beautiful up close than he expected," Willem thought to himself. “Good to hear,” Queen Annette continued, “And what brings you here?”. Van Baarle wanted to shout that he was coming for her, but he swallowed it... "I have a request Her Royal Majesty. To be able to resist the skumback pirates in the future I need more ships. For this I have a higher ship-level needed... And a higher commander rank. Could you please finance this from the public treasury, so that I can add more ships to the fleet?" In this letter I request you, Her Royal Majesty Queens Annetta: - Would you like to increase my ship level by 1 level for free? (OOC: concrete: one-time donation of 500DBs and 500PIPs, for ship level 3 (35 + 25 = 60) - Would you like to promote me to Admiral free of charge? (OOC: concrete: one-off donation of 200DBs and 200PIPs) --- Will not be licensed. Build is made to increase my ship level from 35 to 60. (+25) AND to be promoted to Admiral. GM input needed! ( @Ayrlego, @Bregir, ....) Property type: Small Residence (but wil not be licensed) Dimensions: 16 x 16 studs Total parts: ~490 Credits: - Design minifigures: @ Ktownbricks, @ Theminifigco, @ Brickmaniatoys and @ Lego (Instagram) - Design column with face scarfs: @ forlonempire - Design custom tiles: @ Briquestore_officiel (Instagram)

Recently HMS La Belone joined the fleet of Commodore Willem van Baarle in Mesabi Landing. After a fierce battle Commodore Van Baarle needed more ships to join his private fleet to defend Corrington's land and sea against some scumback pirates. Now, another ships arrived at the outer harbor of Mesabi Landing. It is the mighty HMS Black Prince. This class 7 vessel is another addition to the growing fleet. Captain of the HMS Black Prince, Harford 'The Shadow' Hayhurst walked across the jetty to the harbor master. The harbor master shook his hand and welcomed him to Mesabi Landing: "Good to have you here! This new ship is a welcome addition to Commodore Van Baarle's fleet!" Capt. Hayhurst nodded in agreement. "On the way we came across a 'man-of-war', a large ship with a double cannon deck. It is on its way to join the fleet! We saw several ships with a Corrington flag coming this way, also. Reinforcements are on their way!" Collab build with @boeing_787_8_dreamliner.
