Purpse parks still danced across my stings, mending the many burns I suffered. I feel something warm glide over my body... Light? Was I... I open my eyes with a struggle, partially blinded by the sudden intake of light. I look at the figure before me, taking her by the hand, still not able to fully see or comprehend who or what it was. Red hair, smooth skin, thn figure... Could it be? "...It's been too long, Sarah..." I mumble, still out of it.

Round Four of the Spider Scuffle! >??? VS Northern Spider B (front): Critical Hit (2x2=4+1=5 damage) >Hoang VS Northern Spider B (front): Hit (3+1=4 damage) >Darksten VS Spider Thread B (back): Shield: Triple Shot (3+1=4 damage to all enemies) The party cooperates with remarkable accuracy, delivering a flurry of attacks at the remaining vermin. He spins and flails around like a pinata getting smacked around, hissing in disgust with every blow to his bloated body. Finally, Darksten finishes off the spider with a triple Shot, one of his three heroes piercing through its abdomen. It curls up and bleeds out, its corpse hanging on the end of a thin thread. QM Note: Seeing as the final two enemies can in no way hurt you, I'll be ending this here. The party is victorious! They can already feel themselves getting stronger, having completed their first battle while under the contract of Heroica... They all gain 1 Level, the stranger included. Out of curiosity, how often do people even use a quest's rewards to judge whether or not they should sign-up? I never look at the quests rewards, and even forget what rewards my quests give.

My advice is to drag Sorrow out of that school and trade him in to Unikitty for a <3 while you still have the chance, 93ers.

----------------------------------------- Karie takes her grandfather by the hands, pulling him ever so slightly off the ground and dragging him over to the corner. His every charred bone rattles as he is pulled across the tile, the last flames on his cloak being snuffed out by being dragged across the floor. Left in the corner in a bit of a dilapidated lump - understandably, taking into account the literally heated battle - Sorrow's wounds and undead complexion, not to mention the toll time had taken on his once young and human body, made him look as dead as he was supposed to be. Karie could feel a frantic, but faltering, pulse when she had dragged his body off to safety... The party could only hope the old man could endure. ------------------------------------------------ Sorrow is currently unconscious, Cutcobra, and I would much prefer if the essence would be spent on a child then him.
