"Two heals, coming up." The Party: Darksten (Comrade Commander) 35 year old Male Human Ranger Level 2 Power: 5 Health: 7/7 Gold: 20 Equipment: Crossbow (WP: 3) Inventory: Potion x3, Remedy x1, Smoke bomb, Bedroll, Grand Potion Hoang Anh (hoanganhbeo) 20 years old Male Human Knight Level 2 Power: 5 Defense: 2 Health: 11/11 Gold: 25 Equipment: Sword (WP: 3); Shield (SP: 2) Inventory: Potion x2, Remedy x2 Bedroll, Grand Potion "Well done..." ???, Level 2 Cleric HP: 9/9 Ether: 3/6 Gold: 15 Equipment: Storch (WP: 2 staff, fire elemental.) Inventory: Water Bomb, Remedy At Darksten's command, haong Anh goes to pilfer through the crates. Among spoiled foodstuffs, the knight finds: Venom x2 Crowley goes to check out all of the barrels and bottles. The bottles prove fairly useless... The glass one could perhaps be broken for glass shards, but other then that, there was nothing useful about the bottles. He rifles through the barrels, finding some... waste. reviled, he checks the last barrel, and a small swarm of bugs scurry out. "Gah! Permission to stomp?!" The pillows yeild nothing, but it turns out the odd "brick" on the floor was actually quite a large mass of insects. 4/13 Small Bug Hordes found!

"No problem, Erik... Glad we finally got it working. And yes, we probably should try to round up those "greenies.""

With the log overturned and the chimney given a hard smack, Darksten concludes that nothing else was in that particular area. knowing more insectoid menaces could be lurking around any corner, the heroes head through the unexplored door... And find the barracks. "Dismal conditions. Dismal, dismal, dismal..." And he was right. The beds were just wooden planks with ragged pillows, barrels standing as bedstands. Boxes are piled up in the corner, containing who-knows-what. The party hears a faint pitter-patter, a puddle forming on the floor: there was a leak in the ceiling, it seems. What will the party do?

Heads will roll in my finale. Heroes may very well be part of the death count, especially since you are the one who allowed me to justify perma-death, Mr. Flipz.
-
So no finshing within 2014, then. May have to slim down the party number from 4 to 3, then...

On pikes, I hope! (otherwise they're no fun.) I'm guessing there is no chance of you finishing before April 11th?

I've been trying to do a more or less "purist" run of Baltarok, only really following one quest. Now we know which one I'm not watching.
-
...How did I botch that so badly? I must confess I haven't been following Baltarok besides one quest.
-
Who ever said that was the full weapon, anyway?
-
What I meant that is that blade is physically larger than a minifigure.
-
"Gnnrgh. My mistake. I went right. I actually tried going to the left in that room, but the door was locked." There is indeed another unexplored door in this room.

Wish granted. Not sure why I always struggle with sign-ups, honestly. Especially baffles me this time, since there are some people in the hall (JimButcher, Jebediahs, Masked Builder) I've really wanted to host for ages now. A teaser for 99: That's a weapon... Not meant to be held by a minifigure, though.
-
A man weighted down with all sorts of equipment walks into the hall, seemingly not bothered by the weight at all. he was clearly nervous about something... Sign-Ups for Quest #99: >Arthur Justus Regulus VII (Flipz) >Em (Emjajoas) "That's... all? Dammit, nobody is going to take down that thing at this rate." He stamps off, back hunched.

"Similar doesn't mean exact, does it?"

Exactly, and at that point, it would not be at all unreasonable for you to start killing offscreen students without warning. I'm just someone who usually doesn't use hint systems, so I try to avoid them. To be kind to other heroes, though...
-
Kinda wish that the current puzzle didn't require hints, but alas.

"We're fairly new as well in this city. I kind of... rushed here without recieving the official OK from the boss. I tried to avoid the Hovel residents, since I have a certain disdain for them. After that, I entered into the Foyer, turned left into the room with a staircase, burnt a spider web, and got ambushe din here." "The boss of the Syndicate... He's not a bad man. But he's recovering from mental illness, not to mention he's a complete workaholic. I heard he used to go 72 hours without leeping. Because of this, the shifts he administers are long, to the point of overworking us. He's a kind man, I just don't think he gets that people sometimes need to sleep, once and a while."

"I was hoping to avoid this... Drucilla, three hints, please. After that, please use one of my ether cores."

"Rather unconventional for a lantern, isn't it, Erik?"

This Archmage trait is proving to be the biggest conflict I've had all quest, Sandy. Although, does a QM have to guaruntee their hints are helpful?
