Yes, but that will be the last wave of Ninjago, at least according to rumors. So yeah, if TMNT is replacing anything, it will be Spongebob Squarepants, but that might just be temporary, so unless TMNT proves to make more profitable than SS (which I doubt), there should be nothing standing in the way for new SS sets when the new movie comes out.

Yup. Here's a picture from Hoth Bricks. There's also talk of a Rex Fury fig. Time will tell where exactly these exclusives will be available.

Thanks for the pic! Funny how all these pics start popping up now... I see 7 set boxes, and the depicted sets seem to be a lion tank (which looks very similar to the Mobile Defense Tank from Exo Force), some kind of truck (also with a missile launcher), and a vertical take-off aircraft with a base of some sort to go with it. These animals mean business! Yes, some kind of bird anyway. The original rumors did mention eagles.

Yeah, searching by keywords usually doesn't work too well on bricklink. The way I do it is that I look up the smallest set that I know of that includes the piece I'm looking for and then go through the inventory until I find it. I suggest doing that next time rather than starting a thread about it here.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

Interesting theory, but if Ventress really does represent free will and determinism and all that, would it not defy her purpose to kill her off? I mean, now that she has decided to leave the Dark Side, wouldn't it seem like she would get punished for her decision if she looses her life because of it? Seems like it would send the wrong message to the viewer by saying that free will will get you killed. Besides, Anakin "dies" because he embraces the dark side (at least according to Obi Wan) so if Ventress is the Anti-Vader, she should live (and keep her limbs). I think Anakin's death and Vader's birth in ROTS is enough to symbolize the death of free will with the rise of the empire. I don't think they need to get into that again in this show. Instead, they should show how doing the opposite of what Anakin did (or will do) would lead to a good thing. -
No. If you check the bricklink catalog entry for that piece, you'll see it was initially used in a bunch of Bionicle sets and then in many other sets since then.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you like it and don't think it's too girly. Sorry, I'm afraid this was the Friendship's last sail. It will be retired and scavenged for parts now. Well, I was going for kind of an upside-down City Park Cafe color scheme, with red and pink at the bottom and white at the top, with various other bright colors all around. I was debating whether to build the hull out of white bricks, but I felt that the shape and color of these hull pieces lent themselves perfectly for the Friends theme, and I'm quite happy with the outcome. Thanks! And welcome to Eurobricks! Uhm... What??

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 5 Discussion

No offense taken. That's just how we critical nerdy types are. I don't see why people are still expecting Ventress to die. I could understand it if she was still a Sith apprentice, but she's a bounty hunter now. Who says she couldn't just disappear in the underworld after the war? -
An easy way of monitoring my collection?!

Yes, that's the most complete and up-to-date list of SW minifigs there is to my knowledge. It even has the minifigs from this year's advent calendar. I don't use it much though, so I don't know if you can display the normal minifigs separate from the magnet and keychain ones, sorry. -
MM and especially SP3 were both very action-based themes too. Even the smallest set from the latter wasn't safe from flick-fire missiles. From what we have heard so far, it seems this theme will be set in space too, except it will be more colorful. What will make it similar to themes like Agents will likely only be the general set design (Humans vs. freaks on armed vehicles) as Faefrost pointed out. While it's probably a good idea not to get your hopes up for something like Insectoids or any other space theme from the past, I wouldn't be discouraged by just one guy who thinks it's childish. Let's keep an open mind until we have some solid information or even pictures of this theme. If by "SP HQ" you mean the Galactic Enforcer, then I agree with you, but if you actually mean the Space Police Central, I don't see what's similar between that and the Agents Mobile Command Center.

Interesting. That fig looks like he will be the king of the feline faction. I'm sure it's just a made up word like Ninjago: a meaningful word from Eastern culture combined with a random syllable to create a cool-sounding new word. I wouldn't read too much into this.
-
There is.

I received my copy of the dictionary today as well, and I agree, the fig does feel pretty cheap, plus mine came with the old head printing which doesn't line up with the cowl. That along with the sparse content of the book make this a pretty disappointing product. Still, the printing on the fig is pretty neat, so if that's all you care about, go ahead and buy it, but otherwise I would not recommend it. I think they should have waited with the release of this book and included the 2013 sets.

Wow, very nice expansion of the original set! The whole scene looks great! But Olivia needs to stop cloning her friends.
-
A turtle, eh? I wonder if it uses any parts from the TMNT theme? Seriously though, I also hope that these wont be too cartoony/cutesy as they would be quite useful in various other themes, but if the animals that we got so far are any indication, I don't have much hope.
-
Well, I vote for the traditional front-mounted engine design since it is more realistic that way, as you said. But that's just my preference, and ultimately, it's up to you, so I suggest looking through the Lego Sky-fi Flickr pool to get some ideas and see which style you like best.
-
Where exactly do you see this problem? The first information we got about this theme came from (ex-)Lego employees, and the pictures came from a prototype package on ebay (which was probably illegally leaked in some way). As far as I can tell, this particular situation has nothing to do with dealers showing catalogs.
-
I'm pretty sure it's chee-muh because the set is called Chi Battles, so the "chi" in "Chima" probably refers to the Chinese word for life-force which is usually pronounced "chee".
-
I don't think Arkham is an exclusive. It will probably just be released a little later like the Batcave as Neville said. So the possibility for an exclusive is still open.
-
No, only Robin has an anti-freeze suit in the game, and yes, Freeze is in it, but he looks the same as in the first game.

Oh my, this does look quite a lot like Thundercats! The minifigs look great, and so do their vehicles. I much prefer these over the Ninjago spinners as it seems like it would be fun racing these across the floor, even if you're not into the game that they are intended for. I also like how there are multiple different games/challenges rather than just one. Those vehicle pieces might even be more useful for MOCs than the Ninjago spinners. However, this theme does seem to be very much in the same spirit as Ninjago. That set that is displayed next to the minifig on the back looks a lot like the Skull Truck. There is no doubt kids will be all over this. Also, looking at those crystals, orbs, and the art on the cards, I think it's safe to assume that the teaser image that appeared earlier was indeed an ad for Legends of Chima. Kind of. While I don't think this theme will be anything like Exo Force, I wouldn't be surprised if we see one or two mechs as sets since this is the successor of Ninjago, and that theme had at least two mechs too. Would be great if there were some animal-like mechs a-la Voltron. I could easily see those mechanical animal head pieces on the motorcycles to be used as heads for mechs. Exo Force got close to things like that in its last wave, but didn't quite get there, so I hope to see some real animal mechs in this theme.

I guess you're right. After all, they made a Spongebob set based solely on an obscure poster. I'm still sticking to what my common sense is telling me though.
-
Uhm, what? I was referring to Batman (i.e. the Mr. Freeze minifigure looks like his counterpart in the game, but White Batman doesn't). Fair enough. Still, I don't think they would base a design on a stylized game cover and put it in a set with "normal" looking minifigures. Also, if this ad from Lego Batman 2 is any indication, their interpretation of an AC-style Batman minifig looks a bit different to the one that's being released:
-
Well, I haven't played the game, but as far as I know, that's all it was - stylized artwork. Unlike Mr. Freeze, this is not how he actually looked in the game, so why would they base a minifig off of that. And even if it were so, why would Batman be the only one in that style in that set? It just doesn't make sense.

Wow, great work, Pepa Quin! This is definitely one of your best MOCs yet! I'd say the greatly detailed interior was definitely worth tackling this challenge for a third time! I especially like how you achieved that round edge. And the LifeLites are just icing on the already awesomely delicious cake!
