  1. Wow, thanks Lego-Freak! These sets are beautiful! The AT-RT and droideka are ridiculously oversized, but they look great and come with a 501st trooper! The Umbarran MHC has to be my favorite though. I think I'd get that one even if it didn't have such great figs. The TOR BP and Headhunter are great too, just how I thought they'd be. Too bad there was no good picture of Krell. The clone trooper BP is a disappointment though. The control center is tiny, the Droidekas are ugly, and the clones aren't the Phase II clones I was hoping for. They don't even have leg printing. Oh well, maybe in 2014. The BARC speeder looks oversized and ugly too, and I was almost sure wouldn't buy it, but that leg-printed Obi-Wan and Phase II Rex are going to be hard to pass up. The A-Wing looks good, but I have no interest in it and the only new fig in that set, the pilot, looks weird to me. You really need to watch Season 4. At least the Umbarra arc.
  2. Is it just me or is it really ironic that the one set they don't have a picture of is the one we've already seen a prelim of? This theme doesn't look too bad. Some of the vehicles look kinda cool, although not as cool as those seen in Thundercats. There are some interesting new parts in these sets. I think I might pick up one or two small sample sets for the parts, but otherwise this is a theme I'll gladly pass on. I'd much rather get TMNT than this zany stuff. Also, yay for the first official floating rocks theme!
  3. Wow, the Spider-Cycle Chase looks better than expected. I like how both vehicles have a transformation feature. But why is Nick's car green? There hasn't been any vehicle like this in the show yet, so I can't say it's inaccurate, but it doesn't look like a Shield car. Oh well, shouldn't be hard to mod. The Batboat set is pretty much what we expected, although I'm a bit surprised how closely they made it to the one in the videogame. What I don't like is Mr. Freeze and his gun, they both look silly and not anything what I would have liked to see. I also hoped that one of these sets would be in the $10 range, but they both look more like $20 sets. Oh well, if you want quality sets, you have to pay for them I guess. Is it just me or does Aquaman look angry on the box art? I sure hope he has a double sided head like his fellow Justice Leaguers.
  4. Boy was I wrong. It's really just all the cutscenes from the videogame cut together to form a short film. How disappointing. I never thought that Lego would do something so lazy just to get even more money out of something. Yes, the cutscenes were good, but not so good that I'd want to buy them again on a DVD. The only hope I have for this is that they will flesh out the parts in between the cutscenes, but even if so, I don't have any interest in purchasing this movie. What annoys me most about this is that the DVD/blu-ray of this film will probably be packaged with an exclusive fig, so completists will have no choice but to buy it. As Batman himself says, not cool.
  5. Thanks, but which one?
  6. So Huw says that Donnie is in only one set, yet the poster hints at a second version of him. I'm guessing the first version we've seen of him will be in 79101, and maybe the other will be in an exclusive set, such as the rumored Baxter's Revenge.
  7. Thanks! Here's another one with Hondo: Turk the Traitor by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Sasquatch by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Lobo-bot by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr And in case you missed it, here are three funnies I posted during the five days that got lost in the EB crash: Weird Pirates by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Vandal Savage Opress by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Where Hondo's Crew Got Their Ships by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr
  8. I agree, I don't think the new hair is very accurate, even to the one in the show. The overall shape looks wrong, and like Santaduckz said, the color of it makes him look old. I think the old hair was perfect. And I think JJJ did make a brief physical appearance at the end of one of the episodes, but I'm not sure. I think the reason why they included him was because it would be nonsensical for Beetle to kidnap a TV screen. This way the kiddies can actually play out the kidnapping. However, I would have preferred MJ instead who unlike JJJ was actually in the building and in danger in that episode, even though the Beetle wasn't after her.
  9. Like I said before, it's probably supposed to be Chris Bradford who followed the turtles into the sewer in the latest episode. His headgear is not very accurate, though, as it is supposed to be made of metal, not cloth. The general shape is there, but they could have at least made it (dark) gray. Hopefully it's a preliminary stand-in, but I'm not holding my breath. Looks like it. As I already explained, the workshop is where Donatello builds all the turtle vehicles and gear. The pizza oven is probably the only inaccurate part of the set as I think the turtles get their pizza from the surface world, but it's not completely implausible for them to have one, and I guess it was included to add another play feature. By the way, I'm disappointed that the pizza is the regular old yellow kind and not tan like the promo picture we saw earlier. Again, hopefully it's preliminary, but I don't think so since the set looks pretty final. I think it's safe to say that he'll come in 79101 Shredder's Dragon Bike.
  10. Yeah, I think and hope so too, especially since I'm not too fond of the versions of Donnie and Mikey that we've seen so far. I'm guessing there will be one Donnie in the Dragon Bike, along with Shredder and maybe a Foot Soldier, and one in the Kraang Lab Escape together with the second version of Mikey and some Kraangs. I still don't think we'll get April, at least not in this wave, but I'd love to be proven wrong.
  11. Hm, a brick-built Snakeweed would be pretty interesting and make sense. I hope it comes with Mikey so that we only have to get that set and the Lair to get all the turtles, but somehow I doubt TLG is going to make it so easy for us.
  12. Does anyone else find it strange that Donatello doesn't come with any of the Turtle vehicles (which he built) or the Lair (which includes his workshop)? Oh well, I guess he'll be in the Kraang Lab Escape. It's fairly accurate; there is indeed a big tree in the Turtles' dojo, presumably planted by Splinter. Yes, it definitely looks darker. Not sure if it's dark pearl gray or some kind of brown, but either way it's a nice color variation to have. Because they're awesome and the most common of Shredder's henchmen and we do need an army of them. At least the one in the Shellraiser set has a different outfit.
  13. Awesome, thanks! Since they don't have watermarks, I'll go ahead and deeplink them: Looks like I was right about the manhole cover. The Sewer Lair looks a bit all over the place, but overall pretty good. Lots of fun play features and useful parts. I'm especially loving that Shredder dummy. But who is that dark red guy supposed to be? Chris Bradford? The Stealth Shell looks pretty good too and it's nice to see that we're getting Fishface. This theme is turning out pretty good.
  14. A few words on the accuracy of the minifigs. If you look at the following picture, you'll see that the Turltes are different shades of green after all, or at least Mikey is: And for those complaining that the Kraang doesn't look like he should, here's a reference pic. Looks pretty accurate to me, and they are only slightly taller than the turtles, so not really worth making the minifigs larger. And here's an image of a Kraang Android. Also pretty accurate, although I think the Bruce Wayne hair would have been more accurate. Oh, and note the manhole cover at the top of this pic. I think that may be included in the Sewer Lair set.
  15. I also agree about the Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze tiles, but maybe they'll include extra stickers for the other villains so that you can choose which ones to put on the tiles. Probably just wishful thinking on my part though. This one.
  16. It probably got lost in the server outage... Here you go: By the way, I don't know if it has been mentioned yet, but it looks like the round window in the Mr. Freeze tower uses the same kind of round window plate as those used in the Bag End set, but in trans red. Should be useful.
  17. Yes, they started replacing the old mold about a year ago. This one is easier to grip by minifigures.
  18. Hehe, me too, that episode was awesome. The New Avengers need their own spin-off! If you must know, the scarab is
  19. Seems like the deeplinks aren't working. Click here to see the images. It's great that JJJ and Nova come with angry faces. But why does Beetle have a gun? In the cartoon, his weapons are mounted on his wrists. I guess they figured since they can't put anything on his wrists, they'll just put it in his hand.
  20. Congrats on getting this cool minifig and thanks for the great close ups. Like others, I can't wait to have one of the turtles in my hands as well. Unfortunately no. If you look closely at the Shellraiser box art, you'll see that both the eye and mouth prints are different. I would have much preferred this printing for the regular Leo as the other looks too cartoony for me, but oh well. The molds and shell printing seem to be the same though.
  21. Same here, although I don't think Saw is a traitor. He's much too devoted to the rebels to betray them. And yeah, that "reveal" was odd, but I don't think their last name was mentioned in the last episode, so Ahsoka and anyone who didn't read up on the Gerreras online didn't know they were siblings.
  22. BTTF is the only CUUSOO set aside from Portal that I would actually consider buying, so I'm excited to see how this turns out. Where was it announced that they will announce the results? Good question, but I think that's the point of CUUSOO, to give us the chance of getting sets that would usually be deemed unfeasible by TLG. It has reached 10.000 supporters, so that proves that there are enough people interested in purchasing such a set for TLG to consider producing it. What's BBTF? You can't possibly be talking about BTTF since that anniversary is still three years away. Besides, the fact that something is three decades old would usually be a very good reason for TLG not to make sets based on it (if it weren't for the reason stated above).
  23. One question: Will we be judged on the MOC that we hide our ninja in or on how well the ninja is hidden? I think you have to give a hint. It's one of the few rules of this contest. I was about to give up looking for Lloyd when I finally spotted him. Nice job. I think you linked to the wrong thread.
  24. Yes, but she's not a new character, just a different version of Harley Quin. And I don't really consider the Ultrabuilds part of this theme either.
  25. Patience, young padawan. As I said at the top of this page already, there are not supposed to be any pictures coming from NYCC, and even if there were surprise pictures, I think they would have been shown by now. So don't get your hopes up. The one in TCW is white and dark red too, and the set is obviously based on that show as it includes Krell, so no, not really.
