  1. Hm, a painted Darth Vader would probably be too hard/expensive to produce, but I can definitely see them doing a Ceremonial Vader. Boss Nass only had a cameo, so as much as I want a minifig of him, I don't think it will be him, and the Ankura Warrior would be a pretty random fig to include. So I think it will be either Ceremonial Vader or Disguised Luke, and I'm hoping it will be the latter. That is, if they include a minifig at all this time, but it would be stupid of them not to.
  2. Indeed, this was great. So many good lines, easter eggs, and even an Indinana Jones reference! And the Imperial version of the end ceremony was genius! I liked it so much I watched it about three times in a row! One time just to enjoy it, a second time to catch all the things that I had missed the first time because I was laughing so hard, and a third time frame by frame to find all the easter eggs. Very nicely done, and much better than Padawan Menace in my opinion! Did anyone spot any new sets or minifigs, like the Rancor, Jabba, and Gamorean in Padawan Menace? I didn't, even after going through it frame by frame. Now I wonder if we will get an exclusive "Luke with Darth Vader Disguise" minifig with the inevitable Blu-Ray release. That would be great!
  3. You're interested in entering and you think that you can get something done on time. That's good enough for me. Consider yourself signed up. You still have over a month, so just try to get something finished in that time.
  4. Thanks, everyone. Glad you like them. And I agree with Superficial; considering that one of the few DC superheroes that we got is Superman, the ratio is not really unfair. In the movie, Alfred replies "Endure."
  5. Where else would it be marked? I wonder if this new difficulty rating system will replace the target age range? Perhaps TLG finally realized that there are a lot of people above the posted age range who buy the sets.
  6. Well, there you go. Pretty much what I predicted and not much more. So does this confirm the existence of a TV show? If so, TLG will have to come up with some pretty good ideas in order to not make this seem like a Thundercats rip-off. Apparently like . Indeed. I can very well imagine this "pure paradise" that Chima is supposed to have been to be very much like Fabuland. I don't see what's so intriguing about it, but yes, I'm sure it will be just as lighthearted and cheesy as Ninjago.
  7. Yeah, and Mandarin and hopefully some other villains in the summer!
  8. You guys are too kind! Here's some more! The first one is referring to the imbalanced number of Marvel heroes and villains: Outnumbered by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Green Army Hulk by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Taco Hands by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr The next few hours, Deadpool spent eating and regrowing his hands.
  9. 1. Ricecracker and Si-MOCs - 2 points (1 for each) 2. CorneliusMurdock - 1 point
  10. Yeah, as I said on Flickr, I completely forgot about that one. I had no intention of copying it.
  11. Thanks! I'm glad you like it, just2good, since you made that funny possible! I won Leia in CopMike's SW Advent Calendar raffle last year. Still waiting for the new Luke hair to appear in a cheap set.
  12. Haha, good ones, The Penguin! The last one had crossed my mind too, but I wasn't able to execute it since I don't have the set yet, plus it would have been too R-rated for my usual style, so I'm glad somebody else did it. Wow, has it been 5 weeks since my last post here already? Time for another batch! 13. Why is everyone so curious about the story? It seems pretty simple to me. Instead of alien vs. humans it's animal people vs. other animal people. Since this theme looks like a Thundercats rip-off, I assume the story will be very similar as well, where each animal faction (or two groups of animal factions) fight against each other for these McGuffin crystals of power using vehicles and technology (and perhaps some magic) to determine who gets to rule the world of Chima. I can't really see it being any more complex than that.
  14. Nice new batch, Pengy! As others have said, Flash and Booster Gold are spot-on! However, there's something off about Catman, although I can't put my finger on it (something about the cowl), and no offense, but Green Arrow looks like he threw up in his beard. As for posting the next batch, I'd wait about 24 hrs and then post it. Green Lantern heroes/villains? Kilowog, Tomar-Re, Mogo (using a SW planet ), Atrocitus, Zilius Zox (or his Green Lantern Corps counterpart; don't know his name). Flash villains? Only Captain Cold and Reverse Flash come to mind. They shouldn't be too hard to do. Superman villains? Metallo, Brainiac, Livewire, Lobo. I would also still love to see you do some of the characters from Teen Titans or Young Justice! Hope this helped.

Thanks! Well, it's not really in the kitchen, it's in it's own little cabin. All the yachts of this size that I have been on had the restroom right next to the kitchen, so that's how I did it in this Moc.
  16. I made a funny with Frodo in celebration of his birthday! And I've been barefoot all day so far too, but that's nothing unusual for me.
  17. Indeed. That's why I think there will be plenty of space for the Bat.
  18. The Tumbler Chase set is said to be a $40-50 set. The first tumbler set was a $50 set as well and came with an ice cream truck. Unless they make the tumbler considerably larger (which I doubt) I don't see why the Bat couldn't be included. Besides, if it wasn't, there wouldn't be much of a chase going on. I mean, how are Bats and Gordon supposed to chase it, run after it? I don't think so.
  19. Not bad, Admiral-Ackbar, although I wouldn't call this a diorama. In fact, the connection between this vignette and RotS is vague at best. Rhen Var was never shown or even mentioned in Episode III, and you made the characters in your scene up, so the only connection is the time frame in which it is supposed to be set in. I guess that's good enough though, so I'll index it. Also, I wish there was a bit more detail than a simple white arch way, but I can understand if you don't have many parts at your disposal at the moment. That said, I do like the posing of the figs. It's pretty clear what's going on, and it's great how you show that there are casualties on both sides of the war in such a small scene.
  20. Oh come on, Alfred, that didn't even make sense! You're better than that! LOL. Nice groaner, Jedd. Here's some more from me: Order of the Phoenix by Oky - Space Ranger, on Flickr Another funny with Frodo and Gandalf. Happy Birthday, Frodo! I think I'm getting pretty good mileage out of that little Gandalf Arrives set. 21. Well, the rumors came from several reliable sources, so I'm pretty sure it's true. One of the people who brought us the initial rumors said that he had seen the sets, although he wouldn't reveal much about them (probably because he worked for Lego). From Brickset: Everything else he told us seems to be true, so I believe him. It starts in a week. I'm sure enough episodes will have aired by January for them to base sets on without spoiling anything. As I said in my review, the Doc Ock set is only loosely based on an episode from the show and the story behind it is completely made up by TLG, so if that was really the reason for the delayed release, I think the delay was pointless.
  22. Yeah, while the Friends forum skin was fun and all, I agree that it is time to change to a fall color scheme now. Perhaps a Monster Fighters themed one? Hehe, true, although in your case it's too bad you won a set you already have. Oh well, one can never have enough Friends.
  23. Well, even if Edwin Jarvis was included, it would still be a Creator house (except, you know, it would come with Jarvis) which is why I don't think they would make a set based on it either way, unless they do have it in a future Avengers movie and there's a significant action scene going on in or around it. The same reason why I don't think an X-Mansion or Wayne Manor is going to get made; they're basically just big, boring buildings, which is something TLG's demographic for this theme is not interested in. But if it makes you feel any better, I remember computer Jarvis being able to materialize himself as a hologram in the old Iron Man cartoon, so if they decide to go that route for the movies as well, there just might be a chance he could get made into a minifig too. But that's highly optimistic thinking. As for the Malibu Mansion, I'm pretty sure it wont be the entire mansion, probably just parts of the interior, much like the Helicarrier set.
  24. Yes. Yes it is.
  25. I didn't know there was one coming out. Can't find any info on it. Where did you hear about this? Ah, thanks for the info! I wonder if other countries got it too? Would make sense since it's in different languages.
