Yeah, I have it for the Wii too, and every time I exit the game and go back into it later, I start the level over as well. But when I die while I'm still playing and get "revived", I just go back to the last checkpoint. I think that's normal (for the Wii version) and there's no way to change that. Don't know what happened to your boss. Must have been a glitch. Did you try defeating him again? I hope that doesn't happen to me when I get there! Are you saying, The Kid, that when you turn on your PS3 and start playing the game, you start off at the last checkpoint where you saved? If so, that's kinda unfair for the Wii version owners. Oh well, the Wii version still rocks!

Cool! Looks like a Moc to me, though, especially since it utilizes the old style flick-fire missiles.

I don't really like Fabuland. It's kinda odd and too <insert that tiresome argument> for me. But at least it was good for some interesting pieces. Yes, they do. Every second hole on a Technic beam aligns with one on a Znap piece. I liked Znap and have quite a lot of it. It's useful when you're building large Technic structures. Makes them quite solid.

I'm actually more of a DC guy, but... Seconded! Though, I did enjoy the Spiderman movies a lot as well, at least the first two. I'm really excited about that Avengers movie foreshadowed at the end of Iron Man! The cartoons were awesome, and having Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury makes the live-action version very promising! Now if they could only get Angelina Jolie to be Black Widow ...

Oh, that's actually a pretty tough choice. I was thinking the same thing, but being the SW fan that I am and having waited for too long to wield a lightsaber and use the force with the Wii-mote & nunchuck, I decided to go for TFU. It's really cool, and with the Wii-exclusive duel mode, you can unleash the force on a friend. It seems like the gameplay of the Wii version of LB will be quite interesting as well, though. But if you are planning to get these for a different system and if gameplay doesn't really matter, you might want to go for Batman since it probably has more replay value and has Co-op mode. And I don't really know what you mean by "the new ventriloquist". Oh, OK. Now I understand.

Wrong. We did get Plo Koon and the black R2 recently, and we got some "body hunters" with the last Slave 1 (Dengar and IG-88), not to mention Jango in the Slave 1 before that. But I see your point: there are still some minifigs in those games we didn't get yet. So, yeah, it is plausible, and I would love to see the ventriloquist too! Speaking of which, have you read this post of mine yet? I don't think there will be another Indy game, considering that it didn't sell that well and only has KOTCS to add to it, but I think that Batman will sell better, and if they can come up with a concept that is as different from the first Bat-game as LSW 1 was from LSW 2, I do believe that there could be another Lego Batman game. And there is no doubt of course that you should choose this game over Fallout 3!

So... this is a general license wish list now? Than I'd like to wish for a Disney/PIXAR license! How great would it be to have minifigs and sets from their brilliant films! I would simply love a Buzz Lightyear minifig! He's awesome!

Hi. Sorry I haven't been around here for a while and left you in suspense about my character's fate, but... you know... Dark Ages ... Oky Wan was confused. Something strange had happened. At one moment, he was watching Garviel running down the corridor, then, there was a bright flash of light and a nasty noise that was so loud that it could have been heard miles away and that the audio receptors in his clone trooper helmet failed. If he wouldn't have been wearing the helmet, he would have been deaf by now. Finally, he realized that Garviel had disappeared. Oky Wan called for him, but there was no answer. Carefully, Oky Wan got up and tried to collect his thoughts. The bounty hunter - he was probably still there and might have the answer to Garviel's disappearance! He threw away his helmet with the busted sensors and ran into the direction that the bounty hunter had fled. He ran down the corridor with his blaster ready to shoot any attacking enemies and at the end, he turned into the only open room. There he was, the cornered bounty hunter, and in his arm he was holding a person. He was holding his blaster at the person's head, and this person was... Annix! "Hold it," said the bounty hunter, unable to ban the fear from his voice, "or your friend here gets it!" Oky Wan didn't move, not being sure what he should do. "Put your gun down and back up slowly!" the bounty hunter ordered him. "Do what he says," said Annix. Oky didn't have a choice. He dropped his blaster and backed out of the room. The bounty hunter followed him, picked up the blaster on the way out, and passed him in the hallway until he was standing with his back to the corridor. Then, he suddenly pushed Annix forward so that he bumped into Oky Wan, and ran back through the corridor. Oky Wan, remembering the bounty hunter's weak spot from their first encounter on Utapau, picked up a hard, little piece of wreckage that was lying next to him and hurled it at the villain's neck. The bounty hunter gave out a scream of pain and fell to the ground. The two friends quickly ran over to the armored man and picked up their weapons. "This is for Xela!" said Oky Wan and finished the bounty hunter off with a shot through his neck. After some silence, Annix asked: "Who is Xela?" "A man who died while helping us back on Utapau" Oky explained. "If this bounty hunter wouldn't have wasted our time, we could have saved him." They walked back toward the room where Commander Rex and the clones were waiting for them. But before they could reach them, the corridor suddenly collapsed in front of them. They were trapped in darkness. Then, the light of a red lightsaber blade lit up the corridor... Uh-oh! I can smell the death of Annix coming!

Making a yellow version is easy. You can either use the head of the Agents cyborg with the chainsaw arm or (if you're going for an undamaged look) you could use the guy below (who looks incredibly similar to Arnie IMO) and just exchange his suit with a leather jacket like the one Mutt has. I agree that Rick from The Mummy would be a good addition to the group too! He should have Mutt's hair, some kind of daring/sarcastic face (like Han Solo's for example), Indy's bag, and two pistols in his hands! And yeah, you really should watch BTTF! They are very entertaining movies!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- SPOILER ALERT !
Oky replied to SWMAN's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I think they introduced this new character to have a TFOL on the show! I'm talking about the in the second episode of this season. Hilariously poor design btw! Not even John seemed to like it. Seriously, though, you're probably right, Jim. -
... And they have to mold a new endor rebel hat! Nice LDD-MOC, though!
-
Yeah, we already knew that. It may show up in Target and Lego stores by the end of September, though.
-
Naboo torso? Woohoo! Naboo pilot army here we come! They also have a silver grill plate... Ooh, and a Dr. Inferno henchmen torso! Very useful! They still don't have the minifig parts from the green grocer, though. I want that Umbridge hair!
-
How about Ra's Al Ghul and Talia? They know about his secret identity. Or perhaps Selina Kyle?
-
Good to have you with us again, Simonjedi. And very interesting twist! I wonder what happens next, although it looks like you will meet Jammiedodger soon. Adam, I'm a bit confused about your post. I thought the facility you guys are in is miles away from the core ship. So, how could you hear or see anything of Garviel's disapearance?
-
Perhaps we could have a contest that revolves around the 30th anniversary of the minifig? However, let's just please have one already!
-
Yeah, and very iconic too! Marty could be a Mutt fig with a blue torso with red west and Doc could be someone in a lab coat, some serious face like that of Bruce Wayne or a Nazi, and white-painted Harry Potter hair? Or maybe just a giant mind-reading contraption on his head. Btw, your Jack Sparrow really does look more like Will.

I think, he is Beedo. Or supposed to be him anyway. The everything in the Podrace/Star Wars Bucket was very, very poorly designed, as bucket models always are , and so is this so-called minifig. The junkyard set came out after the bucket, so they didn't have the new Beedo to put into the bucket. I got this abomination and still regret spending a lot of money on it instead of the junkyard set which was so much better. But I am proud to have it nevertheless since it's kind of a rarity. Also, considering that the other pods included in the set/bucket are a FG 8T8 Twin Block2 Special and a KV9T9-B Wasp, the only other choices of who this mysterious minifig is supposed to represent would be Neva Kee and Clegg Holdfast, none of which he looks similar to. But it could also be that he is supposed to be anonymous. Maybe he is just a random alien pod-pilot they put into the bucket, considering how brick buckets always encourage using your imagination.

Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Oky replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Woohoo! They are lime green! I love bright colors! These look pretty good IMO, but it's quite a disappointment to see of how much Technic parts they consist. Some of them even look like pure Technic sets. But they are still pretty to look at! Those new pieces that are being used as wheels and drills will make great jet engine exhausts for spaceship mocs! I'm not so sure about the rock monsters... They look strangely un-lego-ish... But I guess that's the point of a creature made out of rock. At least they are more movable than the RR ones. It looks like that one Power Miner is taking a crystal out of one of the monsters' mouth. I wonder if crystals really fit into them. Also, I wonder if the monsters' mouths have hinges or not - they could just be opened like the rocks from RR. And I have to agree that the blue and white uniforms of the miners clash with the color scheme of their vehicles. I hope that's prelim. I think I'll get the drill vehicle and the little mech for parts. Looking forward to larger pics. -
Yes, CloneCommando PMed me on Aug 24. I haven't claimed my prize yet, though.
-
Wow! Impressive army! Cool to see them all in one spot! Yeah, I was just about to say that. Also, (if you have any) you could include the speederbike(s) and turret(s) from the clone BP as well.
-
Or Red Steel, or No More Heroes, or Call of Duty, or ... ? Seriously, though, I agree that some/most of the first person games are pretty good. I like Metroid. I'm gonna get TFU for the Wii today and am pretty excited! The only other options for me would have been PS2 and PSP, both of which would have had about the same graphics as the Wii, but not as great of a gameplay and none of the 5 extra levels or the duel mode. Although the PSP has the Historic Missions, they are probably not as good as the Wii's duel mode. Besides, the PSP is a far too small format for such an epic game.

I think you mean "MacK's freighter", since that's what you guys are traveling with. Isn't time being measured in parsecs in the Star Wars universe? Nah, just kidding. If you don't get the joke, read this. I was refering to what Han Solo said about his ship in Ep. IV. Btw, where is simonjedi? I am waiting for him to post something before I post something again. And is Thok still playing? I know he said he was busy, but we haven't seen anything from him lately.
-
Yeah, that would be neat, but you know what I would rather have? A SW chess set! Actually two: One for PT/CW and one for OT! But that is about as likely to be released as the calendar. Oh well. An AFOL can dream... PS: Why has no one ever MOCed one actually? I might make one once I get the new Clone BPs!
-
I do hope so! And I really hope that we will have a nice contest by the start of September because my school starts again on the 6th.
