  1. Finally a detailed pic of this set! Thanks Legomilk! I really like all the little flyers in this set. The pitstop itself doesn't look great, but definitely not bad either. Can't wait to find out what kinds of weapons hide behind that turning wall of tools!
  2. If it weren't for the eye-covering Tauntaun horns and the overly pushed down Rebel visors, this would be a great review.
  3. Good idea. And while you're at it, you can also add some big round proppeller engines in front, like these. Well, if you can't be bothered to find the right pieces for your entry, you can't expect to win either, can you?
  4. So I'm a wanna-be Jedi too now? I would have preferred to rely on my technical skills but... OK. Just make sure that my lightsaber blade is green. I look good in black btw. Feel free to make my character fleshie to make it fit in with the other characters - I would actually prefer it that way. Where are those printed legs from? We feel all special, don't we? Many of us make SW comics/animations, and those don't get pinned either. The fact that yours is based on an RPG from these forums doesn't make it any better or more important.
  5. That is supposed to be an X-Wing?? It doesn't look much like it at all. It reminds me a lot more of an ARC-170. As such, it would be a pretty good interpretation (although it would need the big engine things in front), but as an X-Wing... not so much. Therefore, I would either reconsider the reference vehicle or the design of the MOC. Also, don't Alligators have more than just six teeth.
  6. I too love South Park. I love all Cartman and Butters episodes. Many people don't see the witty ideas behind this show. The silly nature of the characters and the cussing makes people put South Park in the same category with mediocre animated adult TV shows such as Family Guy, even though South Park is clearly much smarter than those. Hopefully they will continue to make this show for many years to come! And hopefully we will see other great works from Trey Parker and Matt Stone soon like Team America!
  7. No, but I thought you had a whole workshop of elves working for you. Btw, you forgot to make the Skeleton Interceptor change in the index. No rush, just letting you know.
  8. Who knew Lego would ever make Nazi Fighter Planes! I like the look of this set. The planes seem to be designed very well and don't look <insert that tiresome argument> at all. And the explosion feature is just the icing on the cake. Still, it's kind of an average set in that it doesn't include anything we haven't seen before and is a bit overpriced for that matter. I wont be picking it up unless it's maybe 50% off or something, but I still like it. Thanks for the great review.
  9. Hm... They seem a bit small for bongos, but a nice idea, thanks.
  10. Hey, KimT, how about an update of the index? The last one was over a week ago. Also, while you're at it, there has been a request which you haven't responded to yet. Thanks.
  11. The revision looks very good. I like it much better this way since the custom visor piece seemed kinda cheated. The whole thing still has wrong proportions though. At the very least, the upper body should be larger than the lower body, and the legs should be either thinner or longer (like the legs on most of your droid mocs). Nice job though. I have an idea for making a purist tactical droid head of my own and will post my own version of this if it works out. EDIT: Never mind, it didn't work. In case you're wondering, I was trying to attach the futuristic binocular piece to the kind of piece that hopeso009 used for the "mouth", but since it has to attach directly onto the piece to look right, there is hardly any way to do this the purist way. Perhaps one of the more experienced builders here can find a way?
  12. Sweet! Thanks!
  13. I agree! A hi-res scan of the back of it would make for a great poster! Please, KimT?
  14. Cannons? Really? These quantity topics are getting sillier every time. But somehow I can't resist 'em, so here you go: 2 new ones with red carriages, at least 7 old ones with brown carriages, and about 4 old ones with red carriages. Hope you have fun with those numbers.
  15. I am quite modest. All I want is Brickbeard's Bounty. I hope there will be a nice big sale on it someday, although it's unlikely. But in general, I would love any Pirate set.
  16. Since I seem to have started a sig fad with my "vandalized" sig, here is a thread where you can show off your altered sig. Please show "after" and "before" pics. Here is mine: Before: After: Enjoy!
  17. Cloud City Boba Fett - Duh! CW Mace Windu - It's a fact: Mace is the Shit. We have waited long for a somewhat accurate Mace fig, and even though this one isn't perfect (aside from being cartoony) it comes quite close to the badassness of Samuel L. Jackson! Jet Trooper - One of the coolest things in SW are jetpacks, and this trooper has it as a separate accessory in addition to his already cool look and customizability! Chrome Gold Threepio - One word: Shiiiinyyy! Plus, it's more accurate than pearl yellow. CW Obi Wan - Check my Avatar! I think this is one of the most accurate figs, and Obi just looks great in that half-jedi-robe-half-clone-armor outfit. Swamp Trooper (Phase 2 w/ green markings) - Phase 2 clones look cool, and my favorite color is green, so this is my favorite kind of phase 2 clone. Kit Fisto - Green alien Jedi with green lightsaber. It's a no-brainer. Plus, the rubberiness of the head adds to the authenticness of the fig IMO. And the best part is that he fits in well with both normal and CW-style figs! General Grievous - Although this fig is far from perfect, I simply had to include it, being a big fan of the Droid General. He too fits in with regular and CW figs. Snowtrooper - What can I say? These guys just look cool (no pun intended). Shadow Trooper - I don't know what it is about these guys, but their reverse color scheme with the silver eyes appeals to me. Sadly, I only own half of those figs at the moment. I plan on getting at least 7 of them though.
  18. Welcome to Eurobricks. I hope you are not here only to spy on Denni. And don't worry, there are much, much worse members, like this one for instance.
  19. Very funny and cleverly built scene! Great job! And no, vig(nette) is not the right term for such a MOC; more like big(nette). Monkeys ON!
  20. Awesome! Pure awesome! The only thing missing is a K-9 chasing after one of the prisoners! The laser cannons look good, but aren't the lasers of the Space Police trans-green, not trans blue? Great job as always!
  21. Yay! Another Block-Block MOC-MOC! Great work there Hinck! Looks very cool!
  22. Yeah, but they also "confirmed" they wouldn't make any Dark Knight or Temple of Doom sets!

    Pirate Barge

Looks very good now! The sails seem a bit high, but that's OK I guess as Pirate ships always have high masts. The Mer-Jar is hilarious! And even though he is out of place, Pirate Rotta is pretty funny too. The interior looks also good. But a research room instead of a kitchen? That can't be good! Is that the Governor's daughter in the captain's cabin? The ship looks great in general, but some of the areas on the exterior are lacking some detail compared to real Lego Pirate ships. For example, in the back, it would be neat if you had crossed swords above the windows, like on Brickbeard's Bounty. Good job, and good luck!
  24. Yes. They're from the Avatar sets. Yes, I know that, but I don't think that's the point of the contest. The point of it is it to reflect another theme, not make a MOC based on an individual fig. Besides, look at Squiddman's Pitstop. It has the black, red, and grey color scheme as well. So if P-Squiddy were to have a tank, it should be in that color scheme too IMHO. I'm just sayin'.
  25. This is a very fine looking entry. It looks a lot like the tank while still looking completely different. But even though the colors look great and suit squiddman quite well, it reminds more of a Christmas themed MOC rather than a SP3 MOC. The color scheme of the bad-guy vehicles in SP3 is black & red, not green & red. Let's hope this will get indexed soon. If you don't mind me ask, what do you do with so many Squiddies? And why does everyone spell P-Squiddy with a ":" instead of a "-" ?
