  1. So... Are we getting that extension or not?
  2. I received my poster rather quickly as well, and although most of the big box was filled with airbags, the poster was bent. However, the box of the Clone BP was fine. The poster is 23x31 inches. I don't think the Vader on the dictionary cover art is the chrome version, just a very shiny DS-style one. Plus, the Wookiee warrior labeled "Chewbacca" is gone now. And yes, the exclusive minifig pic is the same as the one on the cover art in the 2009 News Topic - prelim.
  3. No, I don't mind, go right ahead. I'd love to see how your story turns out. And yes, it will hardly affect the main plot.
  4. The Stormtrooper BP. Initially, I wasn't interested in this set at all because it's so badly designed and I usually only collect PT sets. However, I have come to realize that no Lego SW collection should be without this set, no matter how much one prefers the PT, so I bought it from TRU, the only place I know that still sells it, before it is discontinued. I'm still not sure if it was worth it to pay the marked-up TRU price of $14.13 (including tax) for this set, but I am glad that I own it now. The stormies in this set, especially the Shadow trooper, look very good, much better than the old ones.
  5. I hope you don't mind if I do the posting of the finale. I started it, but I have to finish my homework before I post the rest.
  6. I checked, and I didn't see that Snail Tank pic anywhere here or in any of the links. That's why I posted it.
  7. R6 proceeded to get the others out of the bacta tanks. After they had dried themselves off and changed into clothes, they all met in the briefing room of the Fortitude. "Now, can somebody please tell me what happened?" asked Garviel. "I can hardly remember anything" "No wonder" said Oky Wan, "you hit your head pretty good! Well, after Master Mundi relieved Dooku of the relic, we ran toward the gunships that were going to pick us up..." Flashback: Ki Adi Mundi, Jim, and all the others were moving past piles of junk, the assassin droids still in pursuit. Soon, they reached a forking. Mundi said: "I think we should split up. There is..." He paused. "What is it Master Mundi?" asked Jim. "There is a disturbance in the force," Mundi whispered. "I believe Dooku is near. Here." He gave the relic to Jim. "Take this and get to Coruscant as fast as possible! I will hold him -" But in that moment, Dooku leaped forth from behind one of the junk piles with his lightsaber raised and attacked the jedi master. Luckily, Ki Adi reacted fast enough and ignited his lightsaber as he got into a defensive stance. The blue and red glowing blades clashed in a flash of light. "Hand over the relic!" demanded Dooku. He was apparently still under the impression that Mundi was in the possession of the relic. "Never!" said Mundi and pushed Dooku away from him and yelled to the group: "GO!" So, Jim and the others took off as the two duelists engaged in battle. They ran for a while until they arrived at another forking. One of the clones said: "According to the scanners, the gunship is at the end of the left path." "Wait" said JD. He was looking down the other path. "I have a better idea. Follow me!" He started running into the path on the right. Since they trusted him, the others followed him. As they reached the end of the path, they saw a downed Rodian cruiser. Oky said: "JD... Is that the cruiser where you met Drag'Dul?" "Exactly" "But... Why are we coming here?" "You'll see" said JD. They entered the cruiser through a hole in the hull...
  8. This one's better in terms of maturity and has some nice random gags in it (like Ron's lips) but it's still not hilarity level to me. Sorry. However, I like how Harry Hairy's parents are yellow to symbolize that they aren't real. But shouldn't Hairy's dad have the same hair piece as him, or at least a black one? Or is that another joke I don't get? How did you make the spider stick to Ron and the ceiling? Photoshopping? Looking forward to the next installment. I hope it'll feature either Malfoy, Neville, Prof. McGonagall (with a funny new name like McGonnaGo), or Peeves.
  9. Thanks for this nice review, mania3! It could have been a little more in-depth though. For example, it would have been nice to see the PMs without their head pieces, the drill pack from the back, the monster's skull from below, and how it attaches to the neck. Oh well. I too am liking this set - not for its design, of course, but for its parts. I do like the design of that drill though. If I see it for $15 or less, I'll get it. Thanks for that pic! And I agree that this piece has quite some MOCing potential! It will be extremely useful as post-apoc greebling. No, they only exist in this color, and you can buy them from Pick-A-Brick. If you want to find other sets that these come in, try bricklink. Yes, I think you are. I like your imagination though.
  10. How about "Lego 9"? Seriously though, I know what you mean. These little guys are quite charming. I'm sure they'll have a toy or two. Btw, is this gonna be PG 13?
  11. Yes, but they are not based on a TV show which uses low-quality textures for production's sake. If you look at any other game based on a TV cartoon, you'll see that the graphics are equally bad (or even worse). And I don't think that the characters in this game aren't well animated. They move quite smoothly and just like their TV show counterparts IMO Besides, isn't it a bit too early to judge the game on it's animation? The only footage we have seen is only a few secouds long.
  12. Yes, you are. Yes, he was seen cracking jokes, or at least being sarcastic, quite a few times. And if you compare the two facial expressions below, you'll see that they are quite similar: Besides, I think these new sets are based on the videogame. Even though Indy may be a tough guy in the movies, but Lego's version is an adventure-loving daredevil. He smiled a lot like this in the game. Slightly inaccurate maybe, but it makes the theme more fun IMO.
  13. Again, this is a game based on a cartoon, so naturally the graphics are gonna be cartoony! How could you expect TFU quality visuals from this? And are graphics really all that important? IMHO, I don't care how crappy the visiuals are as long as it's an enjoyable game.
  14. New pics from Brickset: I agree that the Crystal King looks like a bad MOC, but it's a neat parts pack IMO. Can't wait for the review, mania3!
  15. New pic of the Snail tank on Brickset:
  16. Maybe it's like the lego games. Maybe it is that way during story mode, and throughout the game you unlock characters and when you're done, you can play the levels again with any character you like. I see. But doesn't this make no sense? I mean, isn't the first episode of the second season supposed to directly connect with the last episode of the first? Then again, the seasons don't have a consistent timeline, so I guess the events from this game could fit anywhere between the episodes of both seasons. Awesome slideshows! I think imma get it for the PS3 because the rendering in those screenshots looks so nice! It's good to see Gree & Bly are in the game, and that the clone arsenal includes a rotary blaster! A new villain, eh? Interesting... Who are the guys in the red, yellow, and grey uniforms?
  17. Wow! That looks better than I thought! It's awesome that you can use jetpacks and small vehicles, and that you can apparently play as any character you like! This allows for some awesome Jedi team-ups! It's also great to see that you have unique force powers like controlling droids. Do you think the Jedi will have signature force powers? Cause I'm really, really hoping that Mace can use his Shatterpoint powers on the droids! Agreed. That's the whole point of co-op. Yeah, but when you look at the game footage, you can see that there are locations, team-ups, and droid models that we haven't seen in the show before, so either it includes episodes from Season 2 (which I doubt) or it has new material in it. Christmas time. Duh! Besides, how would you like it if we wouldn't sell our games to you at all? Well, what did you expect? These are the same graphics as those of the show. If it's ever released.
  18. Oops! I must have missed that. Never mind then.
  19. I know that, but I guess your humor is just not the same as mine, or maybe I just don't get the joke. Either way, no hard feelings. Yes, I know, and that's what I liked about it. Now, that's the part I didn't like. Putting the A-word after every other word is not very funny to me as it seems somewhat immature. And since I didn't know it is an inside joke, I took it for something bad and assumed that the whole comic's purpose was to make fun of HP in a bad way. Sorry about that.
  20. From FBTB - Detailed pics of the Battle of Endor figs: Look at those shiny helmets! Do you think they consist of one or two parts? The green part seems somewhat detached from the dark-tan part. Also, who else thinks that that second rebel trooper's head would be excellent for a non-clone wars Obi Wan?
  21. Hm... I'm not sure if I like your humor. I mean, come on! Dumblyass? Really? I guess I'm too much of a HP fan to find this funny. However, the punchline of that comic is pretty good. Considering that the real Dumbledore was actually gay, this might really be what he saw in the mirror.
  22. Hello there. I don't know if this has been mentioned, but apparently there is a 3-in-1 package being sold in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden that consists of 8017, 7667, and 7668. Here are some pics: Didn't see those pics anywhere here. Also, I just got my poster yesterday. You know, the one with all the minifigs on it. Here are some interesting facts about it: The gungan soldier is still green. It's 23x31 inches. On the back of the poster, there is a small black & white ad for the visual dictionary. The cover art is different from the one in the first post of this thread. It only features a large, non-damaged Vader fig and small images of the DS II, Anakin's Starfighter (Ep.III), Vader's old TIE Advanced, and a Sandtrooper on a dewback. However, the pic in the corner about the exclusive minifig is the same with the "NOT FINAL" stamp on it, so this can't be the final cover art yet.
  23. Either to convert them to the darkside or simply kill them. Duh! Seriously, why don't you wait until you see the episodes before you talk 'em to trash? Before "Hidden Enemy" aired, everybody was like "WTF? A clone who betrays his brothers? That makes no sense!", but now many agree that it is one of the best episodes of Season 1. So patience, young padawan. I see what you mean, but TV series will always have trouble fitting in with the movies they are based on. Star Wars is no exception. And I must agree with DarthSion: Both the movies and the cartoon are being produced by Lucas, so they automatically have the same amount of canon. There is no canon that proves that Anakin couldn't have had a padawan during the Clone Wars. Although I totally agree that Grievous should be way more badass than he currently is, you must realize that he was kind of a wuss in the movie too (he didn't kill anyone ), so what you are saying here contradicts with your argument that this show doesn't follow the movie canon. They never said that. They simply only referred to that one fight because it was their first fight and because it was the one where Anakin lost his hand to Dooku. There is nothing that says that they couldn't have met in the meantime. Besides, Episode III was made before there was much known about the events of the CW, so the makers of the movie had to assume that this was their second fight, no matter what happened in the CW. Therefore, this argument is kinda unfair. In conclusion, none of your arguments prove that this show is ignoring the canon. It may not be far as good as Tartakovsky's cartoon, but this series isn't as bad as you make yourself believe it is. Give it a chance. They are simply trying to create enjoyable entertainment for us.
  24. Wow. That's a massive imperial army you got there, sinoxp! Did you really buy 80 Battle Packs to get this many stormies? Or did some come from Bricklink? How about the officers and AT-ST drivers? And most importantly: What the heck do you do with so many stormies (except show off of course)? I don't even wanna know what your clone army looks like!
  25. No, they are not. They are idea books from DK with bricks attached to them and just happen to be called "Brickmaster" for some reason. They don't have anything to do with the US-only subscription. If you would have read the threads where these sets are being discussed and would have looked at the links to the DK website, you would know that.
