  1. Great Review! This is the Atlantis set I am most anticipating, and you certainly assured me that this is a must buy. But don't you mean "trains neon green cockpit"? Sorry for being nit-picky, but for me, there's a huge difference between trans yellow and trans lime.
  2. Thanks for the review! You provided some great pics of the minifig and new elements, but not so much of the set itself. It would be nice if you could add some more pics of the shark. I think you convinced me that this is a better buy than the set with the crab. This set is 10 USD more, but it comes with a lot more new elements and an awesome fig. It has the cutest scared face to date!
  3. Final box arts! Woohoo! Not much different from what we have seen before, but it's good to know these are final. The only let-down for me is the helmet of the Buzz minifig. Why bother to make a helmet piece if it's only half a helmet? Oh well, still better than no helmet I suppose... Also, $20 seems a bit much for Rescue, but oh well. Absolutely can't wait for these to come out!
  4. That's a great idea, pedro. That would probably result in some great mini- and micro-scale entries! Btw, I would love to see a Build-A-Starfighter contest, a sequel to the vehicle contest where you have to build an unreleased space vessel. Of course again with size categories.
  5. I absolutely agree with you there, Legolas! But you are way wrong about the CW sets all being from the series. The Fighter Tank, droid gunship, Homing Spider droid, Hailfire, AT-OT, and the two BPs have never been featured in SW:TCW.
  6. Killer Croc torso with the head of one of the Toy Story army men. The only problem is that you'll have to wait for the Toy Story sets to come out first.
  7. Fortunately, I did not miss out on the glorious 4504, so my answer is no thanks, I'm good. Then again, if they would release one, it would make a lot of people happy, and it would mean one more set I wouldn't have to get.
  8. Take your time, ADHO. I have some trouble with my internet at the moment anyway, and we have waited over a month for this to start, so I guess we can wait one more. Hope you're feeling better by now.
  9. Robert Zemecki's A Christmas Carol (in 2D) I thought it was very well done movie. The visuals were amazing and Carrey's acting was pretty good! But it was done scarier than it needed to be. I would definitely NOT take any kids into this movie. If you're looking for a heart-warming Christmas movie, this is not the movie for you. I like it because it offers a more serious take on Dickens' story. Some segments could have been shorter, but overall it was pretty good.
  10. I would buy lots of dark bley cheese grater pieces if they were available! Also, it would be great if white 6x8 slopes were available so that people could buy them and use them for alternate RGS nose arts. And of course any more minifig parts and accessories would be highly welcome.
  11. Never mind. Since nobody replied, I just went ahead and had the stamps converted to points. I now have 350 points on my account, but for some reason $0.00 reward value. I kinda regret not just using up my card now. But maybe some larger reward than a $20 gift card will become available when I reach a certain number of points. Does anyone know what other rewards there are?

    Rex V-Wing

Pretty neat mod. But I think the wings look a bit fat, and it looks like a separatist ship. Therefore, I think it would have been better if you would have used normal blue instead of dark blue. But then again, I don't think those pieces you used exist in normal blue. It's great, though, that a whole R2 unit can fit in there.
  13. How about an update of the review index? I don't see any of the board game reviews there, such as my Monsters 4 review. Edit: Never mind. I just realized there is a newer index.
  14. Great. Well, thanks for letting us know, Front. And I'm glad that my review helped you make up your mind about the purchase of this set/game.
  15. Those videos are awesome. Can't wait for the more. Yes, I'm pretty sure it was. Just like all the buildings in the Lego City commercials. Why would they not be compatible with Technic/Bionicle? They the same Technic holes and ball joints, don't they? If anything, it's a giant Omnitrix that wouldn't blend in with any other theme. And as mentioned before, at least one of the figs (Humongosaur) is minifig scale. Definitely! I'd be very surprised if TLG lets this license die without releasing it. I mean, it's a vehicle loaded with special features such as weapons and jets, the kind of thing TLG loves to produce. So, fingers crossed for a second, minifig scale wave.
  16. Wow. That set looks actually kinda neat. I wasn't planning on getting it, but maybe I'll reconsider, because I could use some of those new claw pieces. I just wish it was a different fig than the one in the Turbojet. Those weren't main characters. I guess you could say that Pippin Read is a main character in Adventures, but the real hero is Johnny. ? ? Seriously, legomilk, you need to take some English lessons. No offense, but for being such a great source of inside-info, we have a very hard time understanding what you're saying.
  17. Awesome! The first thing I thought when watching that episode was that someone would hopefully make a decal of that. Thanks for being the one! You did it perfectly! Now I just need to get an RGS to apply these on.
  18. I thought you have 4 snail tanks. Surely you could have borrowed some pieces from their "eyes" for making your entry? Anyway, nice training room. I like the choice of a Naboo guard as a hostage. My only gripe is the absence of any holo-projector(s). Some trans light blue studs on the walls would have done the trick. Unless they are supposed to be in the invisible ceiling. Good start for a repair bay, CommanderFlash, but it looks a bit empty at the moment. You could have some more tools and spare parts lying around the room, and maybe a crane for lifting heavy parts. Maybe even a hoisting platform for lifting the walkers for repair. Also, the door seems too small for a walker to fit through, so I would either make the door larger, or think of another way to get the walkers into the room.
  19. I think computerbug is right. I don't think they had submarines that look like podracers and Boba Fett's Slave 1 back in 1991. It's interesting that despite this storyline, the female diver only appears in one set.
  20. Wow! Thanks, The Brickster, I'm truly honored! Thanks for frontpaging it too. I hope this MOC will get more attention now. Thanks to everyone else as well! I'm glad you all like it so much and I will consider your suggestions when I update the train. Thanks. I thought the Santa Fe style would fit the retro-style of Inferno's mech and Volcano base. Uhm, sure, let's go with that. Lol. Watching robot are we? More like Star Wars + Invader Zim.
  21. Uh... What does that have to do with anything?
  22. Close up of Prince Dastan: And another pic from Legoworld (credit to Bonaparte): That katana holder piece and that golden helmet thing look like really cool and useful pieces!
  23. Yeah, or Foul Moudama. Anyway, looking at this Atlantis set, I noticed it has a new cockpit piece. Does anyone think this could be the same piece used in the rumored Grievous starfighter? It would look accurate, but would open upward instead of forward. Then again, I wouldn't expect TLG to use the same sliding mechanism as in the old one.
  24. Cool topic. Here are some of my favorites (excluding what has been mentioned above): The exploding wall feature in 6755 Sheriff's Lock-Up. The spinning rotor in 4403 Air Blazers. A similar feature is in 8971 Aerial Defense Unit, but I like the one in 4403 better because it works with squeezing, not pushing. The way you can make a skull appear inside a crystal ball in 6097 Night Lord's Castle. The fall-off wings in 7198 Fighter Plane Attack. The hidden weapons in 7153 Jango Fett's Slave I and 7664 TIE Crawler. The X-Ray vision feature in the Divers and Exploriens sets. The walking function of the motorized AT-AT. The gate opening mechanism in 8061 Squid Gate. The opening ramp of 4504 Millenium Falcon. The flapping wings of 6493 Flying Time vessel and 6495 Time Tunnelator. Pretty much any use of magnets or light bricks.
  25. I see it this way: Being trained to survive in a cold environment, the CATs are the kind of clones trained in the use of a flame thrower, and what's a better weapon against bugs such as the Geos than a flamethrower? Other reasons could be that Mundi just returned from a mission on an ice planet and had to do with whatever clones he had, or maybe the armor of the CATs does not only keep out the cold, but also heat. Either way, they were there, and they toasted some sorry bug behinds, so who cares anyway!
