  1. Thanks again for the kind comments! Nah, he simply mutated as a result of the illness known as "Redcoat allegiance". And of course that dead redcoat isn't our blue-haired captain! It's just a copycat who stole his facial hair style. Haha! I didn't even think about that! Is it too late to add that to my story?
  2. When have they ever made such an argument? It would be funny if they really did fly through the corridors of a Sep. capital ship if Adi would appear in another episode with Anakin. Well, Eeth was supposed to have died during that episode, but they decided to keep him alive in the last minute for some stupid reason. Oh well, let's get back to discussing Lego sets. Yeah, but that doesn't fit into TLC's pattern.
  3. Don't you mean 2012? 2011 is CW, so 2012 should be OT, and 2013 CW again. Why did you only post one word in the first place? Well, it only appeared 3-4 months ago, and it took them a whole year to release Bane's speeder, so there's still hope.
  4. So you don't think its appearance in the last three episodes of season 2 are enough reason? I would much rather finally have a CIS capital ship than an Acclamator which is barely different from the Venator that we already got!
  5. Well? Aren't you gonna tell us how you think they would make him? I don't think they'll make a minifig of him unless they make a set based specifically on "Grievous Intrigue" or if he appears more prominently in another episode in the future, but if they did, I think they would just do it like they did Maul and simply print both his horns and hair onto a normal minifig head.
  6. Well, she's the least likely out of the bunch since she only appeared in one episode and didn't do much, but still more likely than this guy from Season 3, I believe. And considering we got such minor characters as Onaconda Farr, Turk Falso, and Nahdar Vebb, I wouldn't be surprised if we would get her too at some point. I personally would prefer one of the others though. I doubt it. It's just because the CW is the popular thing right now. Either way, those kinds of theories should probably be kept to the license discussion thread.
  7. I think the Jedi we could expect in the future are Ki-Adi Mundi, CW/non-LUL Luminara, Adi Galia, and Shaak Ti. The latter is probably the most likely since she is one of the new characters that they advertise the third season with, so she'll probably play a relatively big role. All of these would be equally random choices for the T6 set, so I don't know which one they would put in it. By the way, when you're talking about 2011, it would be less confusing if you say "next year".
  8. If by "this year" you mean 2011, I'd say about 99% likely. TLC always throws Jedis into sets to make 'em more attractive, and there are many that have appeared or will appear in the CW which we don't have a minifig of yet and aren't very hard to produce. I could imagine that rather than the "usual suspects" (Anakin, Ahsoka, Obi), they might put a new jedi into the T6 Shuttle.
  9. Really?? I disagree. I think the Duplo figs look rather cute, especially the alien. Duplo Woody almost looks funny to me because it looks like he has a twinkie for a head.
  10. Let me be the first to say I'm against a UCS Hogwarts. What good is a giant, expensive Lego model of the most magical place on earth if you can only look at it after building? I think it's much better if they just keep making the playsets with minifigs and do the best job they can on those.
  11. How many redcoats does it take to raise a flag? It doesn't matter because bluecoats are gonna take it down very soon anyway. Nice entry, Skalldyr! Good luck!
  12. Uhm, no, the clone walker has 4. And the fact that droid BPs tend to have more figs is irrelevant. Sheesh, Sion, why don't you stop telling people what to do. Well, you'll be in for a surprise, because I doubt they'll put a named Jedi in a battle pack, especially not one as iconic as Obi. Who'd want an army of Obis? Or they could be the new Phase 1.5 ones which will appear in Season 3 which will already be airing by the time these come out. But yeah, I guess Phase 1s would make more sense next to the other two. Those were pirates, not bounty hunters. Some good ideas. I'd be happy with any of those choices. Too bad it probably wont be an AT-RT because that would go great with the ARF trooper. Yeah, and besides, it wasn't really named in the episode (or even shown for that matter), no one except hardcore CW fans would know what "the Halo" is, but with such a generic name, you know what to expect. All that in a $30 set? Unlikely. As I said before, it sounds like a Echo Base type of set to me, with Padme, some Naboo guards, some droids, a new flash speeder, and maybe a small turret for the droids or a droideka.
  13. Those are great! Very spot-on. But I think the symbol on Superdude's chest should be smaller, like a SNOTed 1x1 plate/tile that is turned 45 degrees.

    LA-DS2

Neat. It's like a large predecessor of the imperial dropship from the stormie battle pack. I like the shape of the wings. What's confusing, though, is that it has the CIS color scheme. If you would change it from grey to white, it would make more sense.
  15. Indeed. But surely there are some specifications a cube dude has to meet? Does anybody know? Anyway, I was thinking that we could have a similar contest to last year's Xmas contest in fall; a Halloween contest where you can Build a haunted/halloweenified version of an existing Star Wars set Build a Halloween Landspeeder/Starfighter Build a vig showing SW characters celebrating this spooky holiday
  16. OK, here are some things I can't say often enough: There already is a thread for discussing license ideas right here. Why make a new thread for your own ideas/wishes which have all already been suggested many times before? How do you know for sure Lego wont renew the SW license? I would be very surprised if they would just let their most successful theme go. But if you'd like to discuss this, you can do so in this thread. Family Guy Lego sets? Really? There's nothing you could make a good set out of, not to mention that this is one of the last things I'd want kids to play with. Sorry for this little rant, but someone had to say it.
  17. Thanks guys. I too am glad I could still make it. I'm pretty sure you can change your vote until the voting closes.
  18. I appologize for posting this a bit late. I was a bit confused about the deadline. I hope this can still be accepted. The Blue Avenger Strikes Back! The Blue Avenger's life long quest for the heartless redcoat who once murdered his parents has finally come to an end! A good friend of the Avenger, a bluecoat spy who disguises himself as a barrel in order to overhear redcoat conversations, has found out that whoever was responsible for this tragedy was residing in the fort below them. Of course, the fort was heavily guarded by redcoat soldiers, but the Blue Avenger cut through their lines with ease - literally! After he entered the entrance hall, a horrific beast obstructed his path. It was a ZCerberus monster, a redcoat whose greed for Bananas had terribly deformed him. But not even he was a match for our hero! The Avenger whipped out one of his Blue-merangs and threw it at the beast. The monster was knocked out immediately, and our Avenger was free to proceed. The next room offered a bit more of a challenge. The door was guarded by a giant Skalldyr Crab! Using his razor-sharp wit, the Blue Avenger devised a plan. Before the crab could attack him, he quickly cut the chains which were holding the chandelier above the crab's head, and it fell on top of it. Immediately, the crustacean started to burn. It turns out the foul stench that emanates from redcoats is a flammable gas. Finally, he entered the final room. There, sitting at a desk was the person he had been looking for for so many years... Avenger: "Commodore Hornbricker! It was you! I should have known; that beard is a dead give-away!" Hornbricker: "Yes, t'was I who took your parents' worthless lives! And I enjoyed it thoroughly! I hoped you would never find out, but it seems I underestimated your abilities." Avenger: "You monster!" Both of them drew their cutlasses and began to fight. They fought long and hard, but in the end, the commodore made a dirty move and kicked the avenger in the crotch, causing him to loose his weapon. Hornbricker said: "It's over, Blue Avenger! Any last words?" "Yes," said a voice from behind him, "Croissant!" "What?" replied the commodore confused and turned around. In that moment, a stale croissant hit him right in the face. It was the Avenger's trusty sidekick, Admiral Croissant, the Blue Wonder! Once the commodore regained consciousness, he found himself stuffed into a large cannon. The Avenger lit the fuse and said: "This will teach you never to mess with bluecoats ever again, commodore!" And with a big BOOM, the cannon sent Commodore Hornbricker halfway across the ocean, who said "Curse you, Blue Avenger! You haven't seen the last of meeeeeeeeeee!" Once his voice couldn't be heard anymore, Admiral Croissant said: "And stay out!" The End. I hope you liked it. The reason why I chose Commodore Hornbricker as the main villain was simply to make a homage and thank him for this great contest. Blue Avenger, Away!
  19. NOOOOOOOO! I thought the deadline was today! Please don't tell me I did all this for nothing! Can't you please still add mine? I promise I wont say anything bad about redcoats ever again if you do!
  20. Actually, I think he might be on to something. Since we've never heard of an imperial V-Wing, it could be something from TFU2.
  21. Simple, but nice. It captures the scene pretty well. However, to me this scene isn't very romantic, but hilarious, because if you've seen the Making Of, you just know how much Maguire is trying not to drown from that rain in his nose.
  22. Aint it a bit late to reply to those comments? Anyway, I like this vig too. It has some nice colors in it, and good photography as well, even though the background does tend to be distracting in the last few shots. I think the legs look a bit odd, kinda more like she's doing a split, but still cleverly done. I hope to see more HP MOCs from you in the future.
  23. Thanks for that stunning video, Grevious! But Scooby-Doo? Really? Don't hate me for this, but I don't like Scooby-Doo, and the first cross-over was terrible! Considering the good job they have done on BTBATB so far, this one will probably be more tolerable, but still.
  24. Yeah. Otherwise, those three figs better be some damn good figs. I like the sound of this list. Deathwatch Mandos in the style of the new Boba would be great to have, and the ARF trooper is a nice addition too. Not so thrilled about the Bomb Squad trooper since they are a very mission-specific troopers, but still good to have, I suppose. The V-Wing sounds like it will be a nice way of getting a clone pilot, hopefully in the style of the one in Palpy's shuttle. The Battle of Naboo, as established earlier, could be anything, so I can't say much about that at this point, except that it sounds like an Echo Base type of set. I really like the T6 Shuttle, so I'm glad they're making a set out of it. I hope it comes with Cad Bane and Mace Windu or Cody instead of Anakin & Ahsoka. A young Boba instead of Bane would be possible too after TLG's logic, I suppose. The only thing I could imagine what the Bounty Hunter Gunship could be is the Halo from the episode "Bounty Hunters". I really like this ship as well, and the prospect of getting Embo and Sugi minifigs excites me! Besides, think of all the dark green we would get from this set!
  25. We already had this discussion last year. Here is the thread which also includes a poll. Perhaps a mod could do some merging? Next time, please do a search before creating new topics, Sirius Black.
