Let's just say I'm not a big fan of that franchise. Wow. Troll much? It's OK if you don't like them, but just calling everything "ugly" isn't exactly a reasonable critique.

Dang, I was too late! Does anybody have another link?

Very interesting creation, SAN! I gotta agree that the yellow seems a bit off, but it looks great nonetheless! Keep it up!

Review: 4649858 Shadow ARF Trooper Promotional Polybag
Oky replied to Masked Builder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very nice review indeed, Masked! Thanks. Your pictures are excellent! This is one of the few CW figs that I still need for my collection. -
Thanks for this delightful review, The Penguin! I especially like the last two images. And yes, obviously you have to use your fingers to play with a play feature. They haven't made voice command activated play features yet.

Hm... Not so sure about the heavy influence of Power Rangers in this new wave. The snakemen are also not quite as good as I had imagined. But the set designs certainly seem excellent, and all the new molds are intriguing. Also, Nya looks badass! I LOVE the idea of booster packs! They allow you to get all the cool new weapons without having to shell out for a minifig and a useless spinner!

Great shots, Linko! Looks like you had fun at the beach.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Oky replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Yeah, and that episode is a rip-off from the '03 series. Figures. Well, yes, but more passively as a leader and probably not actively like that one Gungan we saw dueling him. At least I hope so. And a Mon Cal arc? It's just one episode. -
A new entry at last! And quite a random one too, but pretty funny and very well built! Now let's see what I can come up with. PS: Your link to the video doesn't work.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Oky replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Seriously, if they did that, I would loose all respect for this show. Either way, I have a bad feeling about this season. I fear that they will start out with a bang with the Mon Calamari episode and then bombard us with one crappy episode after another, just like they did last season, but I hope I'm wrong. -
Well, I give up. I'll leave it to the OT buffs to figure it out. In order to lighten the mood on this dark date (9/11), here are some new funnies from me:
-
Is it a reference to that Robot Chicken sketch? Or maybe Back to the Future?
-
Amazing alternative as always, Legostein! This deserves to be...
-
Hehe, nice one. I think it's because Luke looks like he actually quite enjoyed it.
-
Very nice display case indeed! It looks very clean and really makes the figs pop! Almost makes me want to go out and get one for myself!

Thanks. I made the backgrounds myself. Yeah, I was worried that the bank robber would draw too much attention to himself, being the centerpiece of the MOC, but that was the story I was trying to tell after all, that the bounty hunter is hiding in the shadows of the rocks.
-
The Bounty Hunter Welcome, Western fans! My entry is about a bounty hunter. Not much is known about this shadowy figure. His past is a mystery and everyone just calls him "The Hunter". He doesn't talk much and has a reputation for always getting the job done - one way or another - as long as you pay him enough. In this scene you can see him ambushing his latest victim, a bandit who has just robbed a bank, by a waterfall. From atop the waterfall, the Hunter watches as his prey travels past, his trusty rifle at the ready... He aims carefully and says: "Say your last prayers, dirtbag." Will he make the shot? Will he collect the bounty? Or will he be discovered? Tune in next time to find out! Here are some close-ups of the bounty hunter: You can see more pictures in this Brickshelf folder. Please let me know what you think!

Just watched the Season 6 finale of Futurama. Is it normal to have motion sickness after the first third? Good thing the rest of the episode featured (intentionally) cruddy animation, so I could calm down a bit. Funny episode (just like all of them) but the whole "F you, audience, because you can't see this amazing thing we're not showing you" gag got old after the second time. Overall, I'd say this was a good season, and I'm sad that there wont be any new episodes again for half a year, but at least we know it's coming back.

There has been so much talk about the changes in the BluRay box set that I just had to get in on the fun! And just for fun, here's another one.
-
Thanks for the nice review. I'm very jealous of you for owning this awesome fig! And the lack of poseability isn't so bad - It's Threepio after all. He doesn't move much.

Contest: The Underwater Version
Oky replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
So we should make a thread for our own entry? I thought there was going to be an entry thread. That's what the first post says anyway. -
If you want to share custom figs, Lego photography, or other random things, there are topics for such things respectively. This thread is just for discussing the upcoming sets. @ Macoco: No, I don't think there were any pics. TLG got onto us before any could be shared.

Fair enough, although I wouldn't say the rumor was completely unsupported as a lot of the rumors that came from the same source were confirmed. There already was, and you just failed it. And I never said you had to like it. By the way, I noticed a translation error. Pteranodon Case should actually be called Pteranodon Trap.

Don't get too excited. They aren't minifigs, more like large Polly Pockets. That said, if they do decide to go into System, I sure hope they do it with minifigs, even if they have to create new TS-style head molds for them.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Oky replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Uhm... Have you been watching the same show as me? Because I have seen clones mature through their training, show individual personalities, show great compassion for their brothers, and even expressing their views on the war. If you ask me, they're anything but droids, and there have been plenty of clone-centered episodes, even though there weren't too many in the last season. And what's this about clones should have anger? That doesn't really make sense since they're the Good Guys, and you know what Master Yoda says about anger. And yes, while the Mon Cal battle is obviously not the same, it's much too similar.
