  4. Hi-res pics of all the new sets! Starting at the bottom of the following page and continuing on the next: http://www.spielwaren-hegmann.de/lego/cars-ao/ Looks like I was wrong about Torque being in the Oil Rig Escape.
  5. Who's ready for some hi-res images? http://www.spielwaren-hegmann.de/lego/star-wars-b4/page-2.html
  6. Indeed. I think Robin looks great. And yes, I'm sure at least Bats will have a double sided head. The way I see it, this Batcave is heavily influenced by the campy 60s TV show, what with the bright colors, the phone, the labels and all, so this is obviously supposed to be the Adam West Batman, and the smile goes along well with the campy theme. Again, I'm sure he has a serious face too. He just has to... Obviously to break out Ivy, although I'm not sure who would pay him to do that.
  7. TLG has never made stickers for a radar dish, and I think it's physically impossible anyway. But everything else is almost definitely stickers.
  8. Yeah, nice ones, LuxorV, although I'm not sure if I understand the second one. Let's keep it rolling!
  9. Yeah, I know, and I'm sure a lot of people have made it from their own parts already, but it's still neat to see it in an official set.
  10. The first official picture! How exciting! Things that I notice: Lots of trans-light-blue pieces! Robin has a grappling hook gun! The Bat-logo radar dish has a new print. Still no Bruce Wayne. While this may be a good parts pack, I don't really like this more colorful/campy approach to the batcave. Now I wish I would have gotten the first Batcave after all.
  11. I hope we get Alderaan as part of the "Planets" series down the line. Not sure what vehicle or minifig it could come with - perhaps the Blockade Runner with Leia or Antilles - but the planet itself would make for some fun scenes together with the UCS Death Star.
  12. I've been wondering: TLG always addresses Leia as Princess Leia, even in sets that are set after Episode IV, but didn't Leia loose her princess status when Alderaan got blown up?
  13. Nice review, Locutis, even though I don't see where this review has gone where no review has gone before. Your pictures are nice and crisp, and I think you have the potential for a good reviewer, so why don't you join us in the Reviewers Academy? And yes, it does take some time for reviews to be indexed in the Set Index. Sometimes they don't get added at all, so if that's the case, you can contact the admins about it.
  14. Oh, sorry. Was it mentioned in the 2012 thread? It's so confusing to have two active Ninjago threads going on. I thought this is the one where we discuss the videos since they relate to the first two waves. And yes, those defects are indeed quite annoying, so thanks for the link!
  15. Nice work! The city looks nice and detailed. The only thing I don't like is the Indy fig. First of all, he's way too small in proportion to the city, and secondly, I'm not a big fan of custom parts, so I don't like the staff and the modified headgear. Same goes for the Exo Force hair. I'd say take out the Indy fig, and you'll have an excellent MOC. You call that a lot of pearl gold? I've seen official sets with more gold than this, not to mention other MOCs such as this.
  16. You need to work on your avatar and signature. your Avie is stretched, and there's a lot of unnecessary white space in the pics in your sig.

  17. Who knows. Heck, Palpatine had one of those right in his throne room! And the architect of the first Death Star included an exhaust port that served as a self-destruct button. Good architects must be REALLY hard to come by in the SW universe...
  18. Great work! Your regular Stewie was already awesome, but this is just excellent!
  19. Thanks, I've added the US and Australian prices to the first post. Also, thanks to member refriedbeans, who brings us news of a Lego Cars build event at TRU where they will give out a Rod "Torque" Redline set! It says it's exclusive to this event, but I think he might be included in the upcoming Oil Rig Escape set. I don't think TLG would make new printed parts for an exclusive set like that.
  20. Another new short film. This time it shows the battle between Sensei Wu and Anakin Garmadon and explains Sensei's black robes! The fight isn't as epic as Sensei always makes it out to be, but still pretty neat.
  21. If by "new ammo clip piece" you mean the same old binoculars we've had since the beginning of Lego Star Wars, then yes.
  22. Oh, sorry, you're right! Looking at the pic with the boxes, it does indeed look like a phone. Neat.
  23. It's possible, I suppose, but they look pretty final to me. I think GL has plain pants because he is based on the movie version, which indeed has pretty plain pants.
  24. There's a sign above the weapons rack that reads "Bat-Gear" and one above the prison cell (behind the flick-fire missile) that says "Prison Cell". The 60s Batman TV show with Adam West had several of these overly obvious labels, like the bat-poles in this video: Uhm, that's a mug. Besides, the phone is inside Wayne Manor, as you can see in the video above.
  25. Well, obviously they shouldn't use the exact same head, but make a version of it without the skeleton face on the other side, perhaps with the normal smirking Jack Sparrow face instead. He's talking about the signs above the prison cell and the weapons rack. Nice find! Yes, that does look much better! By the way, I just noticed that Superman has printed red boots in the prelim pic! I wonder why his final version doesn't have them.
