I watched the first few episodes of the Kung Fu Panda TV show and it's pretty good. The animation, humor, and fight choreography is almost on par with the movies, and the voices are pretty spot-on. The only problem is that the villains are really, really lame. They're your run-of-the-mill dumb Saturday morning villains, not the deep, dark, badass characters from the movies. Heck, even the villains in My Little Pony are more intimidating than these guys. But if you can look past the Saturday morning cartoon feel, it's quite an enjoyable show.

Indeed, I believe this is the Batman fig that will be included in the Batmobile and Batwing sets, so the SDCC Batman is still an exclusive, unless it is included in the rumored TDKR sets (which is likely IMO).

Wow, what a great entry! It certainly has that gothamy dark art deco look to it, and the interior looks lovely too! It's also great how many villains you managed to incorporate. Good work all around!

Same here, my dear. I guess our goals are similar in that we both desire to nurture our beloved flowers. That is, if you are not one of the spies and are planning something much different with the money. I must agree, my wooden companion. The world is full of fools who seek to destroy other peoples' lives. I am the living proof of that. I do like the sound of a nuclear winter though, and I need the money, so I am fine with this operation. If your visits to a strip club always end up like this, count me out.

Ice Ice Oky - What a cool title! I got this for assuming the role of Mr. Freeze in Gotham City Mafia and subsequently "freezing" my sig. Not sure from who, but my first guess would be mafia game regular Hinckley. EDIT: But on second thought, it was most likely KielDaMan

+1 for Solscud007 for our first smooth trade. -
Hello and welcome to EB! This is a great MOC to introduce yourself with, and our rebel bloggers have blogged it before you even posted it. That's how awesome it is. By the way, you might want to hit Return twice after each posted picture.

Yay! My whining accomplished something! Doesn't change the fact that I don't have space for another tag though. Perhaps it could replace my train tag? Nice job! They look great! EDIT: Awesome, thanks, KDM! Now almost all my tags are circles!

Mr. Freeze is ready to put some bats on ice! It's cool to hear that we got enough people to play this! All we can do now is to chill out until the game starts. (I'm starting to sound like Arnold. )

Hehe, not bad, Skrytson, even though they are kinda old jokes. You think so? I like it. Besides, it's a fond made for comics, so it's a no-brainer to use it. Yeah, it's a common joke, and it's a challenge to find new ways to make fun of them. I never really minded them, but I do agree that some of them look pretty creepy. By the way, why don't you make funnies anymore, COP RDC? Yours were some of the best, and this is your topic after all! Anyway, here are some new ones: And lastly, another Chrome Stormie joke. I was wondering what the point of chrome armor could be, and I think I figured it out.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Oky replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Please tell me there's no Episode IV reference following this scene... -
So the participants of the Venator CB get nada? Nah, it's OK. I have way more tags than I can display already anyway. So are there any plans for an ROTJ CB? We could just keep going with these movie themed CBs and do the prequels as well! Once we run out of movies, we could have one for the Clone Wars.

Holy light effects, Batman! This sure is a great entry! It may not be as large as lisqr's, but it looks nice and detailed, and the integrated lights make for a great atmosphere. The posing of the figures and the railing is excellent as well! Very nice Red Hood minifig too. Good luck!

Thank you. This should give you an idea of who he is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWTfSgxq9ko

Ah yes, very good idea. I haven't read that Brickjournal, but I saw some instructions for a sliding puzzle once myself: http://www.flickr.com/photos/28134808@N02/sets/72157625852072386/with/5366409541/

Oh, sorry Grogall, I haven't been following this thread very closely.

Very nice work. It looks just like an old chemical plant with all the rust and greeble and stuff. I would just like to see a few more figs so that it tells more of a story. How about some shot/beaten up crooks lying all over the place? That way it would at least look like a fight took place here. Too bad you don't have a Batman to put into the scene, but oh well. Good luck in the contest!

Do not waste your time, my straw-headed friend, your mind games will not work on me. For a man who has lost nearly everything has nothing to fear. Besides, the air filters in my suit will prevent me from breathing your fear gas. And Nora is perfectly safe in her current state, I assure you. If the flower of my life has to spend her life frozen, so shall everyone else's flowers. As for my heart, it belongs to another.

Source? Last time I heard of it, the show was still well in production.

You know, on second thought, I will add ice to your martini after all. *Pulls out his freeze gun and freezes The Penguin's entire martini glass, along with his hand.* Is that cold enough for you?
-
It is a custom build of my own design. I made it soon after my tragic accident in a desperate attempt to keep myself alive. I might not have made it if it weren't for my extensive knowledge in... Wait, refrigerator?! I'll have you know, sir, that inside this cold metal contraption is still a man! A man with a weary, bitter heart, but a man all the same. Mark my words: The day will come that people will stop mocking me and pay for the wrongs they have done to me! And I am not here to perform party tricks by adding ice to peoples' drinks, not even you. I am a scientist, not a performer. Also, forgive me if I don't have a drink myself, as my condition makes it impossible for me to enjoy foods, much less fluids. What I would give to be able to enjoy a martini again on a warm summer night...

Thanks, but what I meant was if you can enter two or more different entries in the same month.

Is it getting cold in here, or is it just me? I guess it must be me. After all, I am forced to walk this cruel earth in a suit that generates sub-zero temperatures ever since that fateful day... I hope I can be part of this "Grand Plan" of the Penguin and Joker that I have been hearing about, as it might provide me with the required funds to finance my research and hopefully allow me to finally cure my wife Nora. I usually prefer to work alone, but drastic times call for drastic measures... Oh, my dear Nora... Soon we shall be together again, I promise... Your chosen character: Mr. Freeze Your availability during the coming few weeks: Right now I only have school on two Monday and Tuesday, and the rest of the time I'm mostly on my computer at home or building contest entries, so I should be quite available for the next few weeks. My schedule might get a bit more busy after Thanksgiving, but I should still be able to play. Your previous Mafia game history: The only other mafia game I played was the Hogwarts Mafia, and I died in the first night. I hope to do better this time if I am accepted. Your existing interest in the Batman universe: I came across BTAS on TV a few years back and was immediately hooked! I loved the show and its sequels, as well as Justice League Unlimited and all the straight-to-DVD movies. My favorite Batman movie to date is Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker, with Mask of the Phantasm and Under the Red Hood being tied for second. I'm not a big fan of the live-action Batman movies, except maybe TDK. I only got one Batman set back in the day, along with some magnets, and regretted not getting more until the Superheroes theme was announced, which I plan to collect. And lately I have been in a especially baty mood due to all the Batman and Superhero contests, the release of Arkham City, and B:TAS being re-run on TV. *Sees the Penguin passing by.* Ah, Mister Cobblepot, I presume? I must say, a fine establishment you've got here. The whole iceberg theme appeals to me greatly. It makes me feel right at home, except my home is far colder than this and features much more ice. The only thing I find bothersome is that it is too crowded... I usually prefer a quiet environment. And I could have sworn I just saw two of the same person walking around...

Great entries so far, everybody! I am about half done with mine. I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but does anyone know if you can enter the Super Heroes Unite contest more than once? I couldn't find anything about that in the rules on their website, and there are several MOCs I'd like to enter.
