Great job, LuxorV! I like the idea of a Joker-like bounty hunter in the SW universe. The ship looks great too; the colors truly make it look like the ship of a madman, and I especially love the paint job on the wings, which I first thought to be custom stickers. Good luck in the contest!

Wow, that's one angry Santa! Someone's been naughty. Both of these are pretty cool since they seem to be great parts packs! Just look at all that dark red! I hope those cheese slopes, studs, and goblet are pearl gold. I probably wont cash out the money required to get these though. By the way, I received the new Lego catalogue today, and in there they have a few other new seasonal item, including Holiday ornaments filled with 2x2 bricks: One with red bricks, one with green, and with - wait for it - pearl gold bricks! They sell for $7.99 each. There is also a 2x15x14 model of a stocking, a new Christmas Tree similar to the last one, and a Mini (brick-built) Santas Set. This is going to be a great Xmas!

This is great news! This means that the Lego Superheroes videogame wont focus as much on Batman as the actual sets seem to do, which in return gives me even more hope that Superheroes will include both DC and Marvel! I just hope this game doesn't have the kiddie-colorful aesthetic of the new Batcave.

Way to repeat most of my list. However, the difference in your list is that you have main characters as the minifigs. Judging by Series 1 and 2 of the Planet sets, TLG seems to focus more on generic and minor characters, and I like that. I'd much rather have a generic pilot than Captain Jag again (to fill Kit Fisto's seat in the ARC-170) or a clone to add to my army rather than yet another copy of a Jedi. And I the same idea for Dagobah, but I didn't list it since we're already getting an X-Wing with Yavin 4.

True, but the thing that I have a problem with is the main temple which looks like it's taller than Indy, and I don't think that's right. But if you weren't going for accuracy, that's OK, I guess.

I just noticed that Bruce has a slightly modified version of Superman's face. That's pretty weird, but I hope that he at least also has a playboyish grin on the other side of his head. That would suit him and would make up for the fact that he looks like his best friend.

Well, FBTB have finally posted their NYCC report, and it includes pictures of Bruce Wayne and Robin's second face, as well as the back side of Bane and Superman. It also confirms the elevator play feature theory. It looks like there are two platforms: One at the top that you place Bruce Wayne on, and one with Batman that is hidden inside the transformation chamber. You pull a pin in the back, and Bruce falls into the chamber while pushing down the platform with Bats, which drops down below. But I have to say, I don't like the cartoony look of Bruce Wayne and Bane at all. Bane's back printing isn't nearly as detailed as that of the first Bane, and Bruce doesn't even really look like Bruce Wayne. Robin's "Holy Moly, Batman!!" face is priceless though.

I'm a bit disappointed with Oil Rig Escape. Not only does it not include Torque, but it's also much more crammed than I had hoped. I wouldn't expect TLG to give us the giant rig that we saw in the movie, but I think it could have been a little bigger than this. Well, at least they finally made Grem in an accurate color.

The Flying Dutchman's ship may be horribly underscaled, but it's irresistibly cute, and the figs it comes with are excellent! I would have never expected to see pirate versions of Spongebob and Patrick. I'll definitely try to squeeze this one into the budget next year. The Undersea Party is a pass for me, even though DJ P4trick is freakin hilarious. I like the use of treasure chests for the speakers. It gives them a nice undersea feel. Agreed. How many damn pineapples do we need? Squidwards house does look highly improved. I'm curious what the interior looks like. But what do you mean "no him"? He's right there, on the box art behind the cocktail bar, with a cup and with - wait - is that a present? Squidward is actually giving someone a present? True, but this is the only way he can wear his man-purse. Besides, there is no existing beard mold in the shape of his beard, and what would you do with a green beard anyway. Wouldn't the Birthday Party set make for a better birthday gift? First post has been updated with the pics.

Yay! A hippie! Looks like TLG is realizing more and more figs from my last CMF contest entry! This series looks great as usual, with the obvious star being the space marine! Imma have to get a whole squad of those! Although the Aztec and Neptune/Poseidon/King Triton are great too! Heck, the whole first row is excellent! The second row is just OK; it seems like I could make those figs with parts that I already have, except the bunny suit guy of course, who is adorable. The Swimmer's accessories could be useful too. Looking forward to these to rob my bank account!

Same reason why the modular holding cell has been detached from the main structure; to optimize the layout for taking the picture. I think it would have been better to keep it all attached the way it is supposed to be though. Of course, but those are summer releases and wont be revealed for a while.

I'm pretty sure it's 3. That would explain the empty area, and the technic beams are probably guides for the elevator to slide down on. It can't be 2 because there's no space for him to come out of the side, and having something push out of the side would require a complicated mechanism, not to mention it wouldn't make sense.
