So the claws aren't actually designed to hold anything? Kraang Kingdoms (Kraangdoms?) is my favourite!

Oh, and another point- why must Azog be tan? He's the Pale Orc! Every custom of him I've seen so far has been white! Imagine how he'd look 'astride a white Warg', the colours would clash! Well, I pretty much hate everything about the Azog minifig anyway... That head, the unimaginative weapon and it's unavailability and mere existence outside a set I can afford. Maybe it's only an exclusive because of the head. Has no-one noticed yet how much PJ likes topless loincloth wearing characters? The Great Goblin, Gollum, goblins and Azog all have more or less the same colour scheme.

I've checked- and a quiver does fit. You just have to rotate the hair slightly to the minifig's right side. This is not inconvenient at all as this is the direction they'd look to fire an arrow anyway. Also, I'm so happy they've finally brought this hairpiece in another colour! In black it'll make a much more movie-accurate Lurtz at Amon Hen. Perfect!

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

Totally agree! But I do like the constable, and the yeti and scarecrow are amazing. Series 6 is still the best in my books. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

Yes, but in BLACK! I've been needing this for ages (Actually, for a custom Grima Wormtongue. Hm.) and have never been prepared to spend on a set just for that piece. Shame I prefer flesh to yellow. I haven't got a pair of useful Roman/Celtic legs since the original Celt minifig. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
Flobnomdob replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm in love with this series! My favourite must be the Yeti, with the Scarecrow and Barbarian in second. Is that black Dastan hair on the Barbarian? If so- so rare! This series is awash with useful parts- even the waitress's hair and the female robot's neck bracket please me. Plenty of good prints all around- all of the scarecrow, the scientist, evil Mech and elf. Anyone notice the increase in arm printing here? On the Barbarian, scarecrow, Mech and gingerbread man. There are a few atrocious minifigs here as well, though- That ugly female robot, the gingeerbread man, and the godawful waitress. One question, though. How does one climb with a mattock? Surely not the best bit of equipment... -
Has anyone seen the new 2x1 rounded slope holding the teeth to the front of the Lion vehicle? Love that part!

Personally, I love the dragon, as it is less overly complicated than others I've seen. The colours work great and the wings are smooth and (Almost) seamless.

I'd say the best possible piece for Lurtz would definately be Qui-Gon's in black. THough that'll probably never happen... Also, on the subject of 'best set ever', I'd say that currently it would be the Mirkwood Spiders. The price is perfect, it has all- exclusive figures (Even Legolas), both my favourite dwarves (Or dwarfs? I forget), two BRICK-BUILT monsters and parts in rare colours (Namely dark red). But, when the Corsair ship comes out my opinion will likely change. I expected there never to be a pirate ship, though I really wanted one, and now we get one twice the size of my expections! The only downside is the fact that we only get one Corsair, which is a little odd, and perhaps seen before (Cough Helm's Deep Rohirrim cough).

Totally in love with this MOC! The Cyclops fits better amongst microfigures than normal minifigs, and looks much more scary here than when it's man- sized. I also see you have quite a sizeable collection of that microfig!

I'm really hoping for a Rhosgobel, but if we can't get one I want a Radagast minifigure at least. Then I can MOC the rest. Maybe we'll get a set later with his rabbit-drawn sleigh? I'd love that! Got Attack of the Wargs yesterday, and really enjoying the ferocious looks on their faces. I don't think getting another will be a good idea though- I'd have to paint the Pale Warg for it to be useful.

These are extraordinary! I love the NPU on Oin's moustache and the use of 'brick' bricks is inspired! Looking forward to the next!

So, what about the story here? I'd say this a prequel to the old Castle theme, where the old Lions kingdom merges with the Crown kingdom (Terrible name) and fights red-colour-schemed baddies, before defeating them, only for them to be re-raised from the dead by that wizard, so that they could ally with the Trolls?

Wow! I love that new helmet... But the barding actually looks less detailed than it was. Still, at least we can be 100% sure that the horse will be able to move it's back legs!

Notice the front... Where's the skull/wrecked/seweedy bit? Anyway, the official Corsair ship looks amazing! I never expected that (Though I did wish for it- see below) !

That is a great set, with some great amounts of rock bits, without a single BURP! The PoP line was a great one anyway, with basically the ONLY Arabic architecture sets.

A-ha! Good thing I just wasted money on 115+ scorpions in PaB!

That, I'm afraid, would be a custom set made by me. Though I don't remember putting it on Brickipedia, nor trying to make it look so believable. I hoped no one would believe this was real by placing it only in my 'Dream second wave LOTR sets' custom thread and my Flickr. Who's been trying to raise false hope here?

This looks terrible... I mean, these are Lego rip-off quality design. Perhaps this is meant to be like 4Juniors?

We could still use Tonto's face for Azog...? And Frakjaw's for Bolg? Anyway, I saw the film in the UK recently and do think it's a shame that Azog looks like that, to be truthful. He's got a really boring costume and a hand thing stolen off Calibos. I used to hate Yazneg's look but now I think i'd rather have him as the main enemy than the 'Pale Orc'.

As a coincidence, months ago I made a picture of what I'd like Gothmog to look like, this; But I would love for it to come with a new hairpiece, like the goblins.

New CMF parts in LEGO's parts database?
Flobnomdob replied to Aanchir's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wait... Couldn't those two test tubes be the series 9 Jekyll/Hyde minifig? Or am I guessing?
