  1. Nice to meet you @Ben S Great that you finaly decided to create an account! Have fun
  2. Now that CMF sounds interesting! While i don't know anything about D&D (apart from what i saw in The Big Bang Theory ) i imagine many of the minifig parts and accessories could be useful for other themes as well. Fingers crossed!
  3. Welcome to the party @Atavism
  4. Wednesday is cool and i would have been exited for the sets, but maxbaut also says in his latest video that the sets will feature minidolls... A pity.
  5. What a fantastic fleet this is!
  6. Welcome to the forum @decemberssecond1
  7. The official pictures for the Port Royal Expansion Pack (aka 10332 Medieval Town Square) have been released last week! Is this something that Pirates fans are interested in? Could you imagine to integrate the medieval buildings into your pirate layout? Or have the set on display next to Eldorado Fortress and Barracuda Bay? How do you rate the set, judging by the pictures? Feel free to share your opinion!
  8. All vignettes octagons look great! Good job everyone
  9. @Christospirates I merged the picture you posted as a seperate thread into this one.
  10. The classic, creepy, cold & lifeless smile
  11. I must admit, i like the gentleman pirate the most
  12. Which video is that? It's hard to keep up with all the stuff
  13. I'll pick up some of the bonnets, the boy's tan torso and maybe some goats (depends on the price tag) from PAB.
  14. I was born 1983 and grew up with the classic castle, pirates, city and space themes of that era. But i do think that everything we have today is much more superior to the Lego stuff we had back then. The minifigures have much more accessoires nowadays, more detailed torsos and legs, more heads with different facial expressions and more headgear. And personaly i am so happy that i don't have to use yellow heads nowadays. We have much more bricks and pieces that allow for more detailed and enhanced building techniques and we have much more colors to choose from. The only thing that was better back then was the light and sound system that came with the city sets. (But maybe it is better that it is gone because nowadays Lego would charge us 2€ for every 1c china cable )
  15. People say this about every hugh AFOL set. And what is the consequence? Should people who dislike the set buy it just to make LEGO happy? Then get more mediocre sets that we have to buy to keep lego happy? If a set is good people will buy it. If not, well...
  16. Yet Harry Potter can have ~10 Hogwarts sets that can be connected. And last year they got 76422: Diagon Alley: Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes and it seems this year Ollivanders & Madam Malkin's Robes will follow. So if they can do seperat Diagon Alley buildings, it should be possible to have other (medieval) seperate buildings too.
  17. For me the problem is the other way round! There's a truckload of fantastic medieval mocs out there and the set should look more like a moc! Now it looks like a very basic and very simple set. Somehow Lego sets like Eldorado Fortress and now the Medieval Town Square fail to impress me because i have seen so many good mocs.
  18. I am a bit disappointed. The set looks very simple and not like a 18+ set. Easy pass for me.
  19. I don't know the rules, but none of the ship has cloth sails, so i guess they are not allowed. Probably only pieces that are in production at the moment?! There are some great mocs there. The big ships of course, the trading post, the fortress with the sloped walls. Hug Island is a cool one but i'd remove the skeleton arms
  20. You should create a new thread for your moc in the fitting subforum. Then add pictures of your moc and a description or an accompanying story if you want. For example, when you want to share your latest Ninjago moc, the 'LEGO Action and Adventure Themes' subforum would be the place to go. Create a new thread, preferably with the prefix [MOC] and the title of your moc in the headline. Another example, if you would like to share a Pirates moc, the 'Pirate MOCs' subforum would we the right place.
