LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Yperio_Bricks replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Okay, phew! Thanks That's what i hope they will do -
Eurobricks does not allow the upload of big files and the available space is very limited for every user. The best is to use a image hosting service like bricksafe, imgur, flickr or basically any other website where you can upload your pictures. Then simply add the link to the picture to your Eurobricks post and the picture will be shown automatically (if the picture is not shown in the EB post, it is the wrong link).

LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!

Has the minifig lineup of the U-Wing set been confirmed? The two Stormtroopers would be a bad choice imo. We got quite some Stormies lately and throwing them into the U-Wing set would be just lame. -
Golly gee shucks! Viewer discretion is advised Great job! A dashing pirate needs a fine big hat. You are a true butcher master surgeon!

[Poll] What is Your Favorite Space Faction (1978-1999)

Can anyone see the results without voting? It never works for me. When i klick on 'show results' it just loads indefinitely. -
Yeah, this topic came up before. I can only guess that there were some heated discussions in the past, so eventually the word was banned. But that must have happened a long time ago and maybe it is time to lift the ban?!?

[OFFICIAL] LEGO Ideas® 21363 The Goonies - Released Nov 4

Just came across an interview with the designer of the IDEAS Goonies ship. He also talks about Pirates and that he maybe can suggest Lego to design a new hat piece for one of the characters. -

There was a great post on how the person likes minifigs and playsets but would not buy the 18+ collectors sets. And about how casual Star Wars fans come into Lego, changing Lego Star Wars in the process. I can't find it anymore, but that post pretty much summed it up much better than i could express it Between all the rumored ships for next year, where are the location sets? U-wing is great news though. One of my two favorite fighters (The other one being the Y-Wing). The U-wing just looks so cool. We are adults and for an educated discussion we need to take a look beyond the horizen. There's nothing wrong with comparing Lego and it's competitor brands. Sorry, but I don't get why some people react so allergic every time a other brand is mentioned and want to get the discussion shut down. -

If other brands could use minifigs the picture would be completely different. For example, as a moccer I am only interested in the parts and minifigs when i buy a set. I may build the set once, disassemble it after a week and the parts wander into the bins. So i have no interest in sets from other brands because neither do i collect sets nor would display them (this applies for Lego sets as well). For me, it comes all down to the minifigs. That's why, as a customer, I would like to see the protection of the minifig fall. The market would be flooded with minfigs we only could dream of and more. Also think of castle, pirates,... minifigs! Finaly some good news for next year! -

I refered to 'brand love' in a different context in a different thread. Like other people in this thread i plan to cut my Lego budget from next year on. Since i left my dark ages in 2018/2019 i spend thousands of euros for Lego, but with the prices ever increasing it is just not fun anymore. IT IS NO FUN ANYMORE! It is no fun to simply go into a shop and buy a Lego set! Lego is really the only hobby where I constantly have to be upset about the prices. I feel like an idiot for buying Jedi Bob's starfighter. I don't feel like an idiot when i buy a pair of running shoes. When the news were out i was very much hyped about Peridea but now i decided that i will not by the set. The price is ridiculous and the build abysmal. The minifigs are good but i am not going to support this approach of Lego, forcing people to buy a bad overpriced set just to get some good minifigs. So no Thrawn for me mocs. Good thing is, so far i am not interested in any of the rumored sets for next year and i have generally zilch interest in 18+ collectors sets. Helps me to save a lot of money. I love the bricks! But the company -
Generally the CMF minifigs looks pretty boring again. A bunch of city minifigs and a castle army builder. Have to wait for better pictures but as of now the steampunk inventor is the only interesting minifig. If we are lucky he comes with a vest and jacket that works for a merchant or an other civilian.

Thank you! The cockatoo looks great. I guess the bird shows up at PAB eventually? Also the steampunk inventor in the back looks interesting (from what i can tell by the blurry picture).

LEGO is considering abandoning physical instructions
Yperio_Bricks replied to danth's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I guess they wanted to reduce production costs by "economizing the building process" using digital instructions only (without passing the saved costs on to the customer by reducing set price of course ) and faced a hugh backlash from the AFOL community. But i am sure the topic is not dead and they will bring it on again some time in the future. -
I often swap hands and arms and never had a problem. Maybe i have a good technique

Yes, there was some talk about a throne room diorama at the end of '22 and beginning of '23, but I guess the diorama turned out to be 75352 Emperor's Throne Room Diorama. -
