    Exactly! I am surprised, shocked even, that people instantly are calling for others (BDP, LEGO Company, Rebrickable) to create a underlying story for the new factions!

    Same here! I still think it just the shiny render. We'll see! Curious too see what kind of MOCs people will come up with for the Kraken Knights! I was always interested in castle since I left my dark ages but none of the other (classic) factions really was drawing me into the theme. After hearing the Kraken Knights won I was aboard the hype train and now after seeing the minifigs I am in love

    I am really surprised to see so many people calling for BDP and Rebrickable to fuel the new factions before they are even released. Nobody is planning to build MOCs to give the Kraken Knights and Griffon Knights a new home?

    It's the render. The same effects are used for all minifigs! EDIT: Official pictures often look very shiny. Just to give an example, I still remember the infamous 76232 Hoopty, which looks very shiny in the official pictures while in reality it is just lbg. But like I said, copper would be welcome

    Compare the knight with the teal spaceman on the left. The legs look much darker and the helmet also has these shiny spots. Copper would be welcome though. Good point

    When was copper last used? I think it's just a shiny render showing reddish brown. There are already a thousand castles at rebrickable. I'd like to see what new lore people come up with without instantly making it a business

    Yep. My guess is, that they simply wanted to try something new - without a new helmet mold.

    What's odd and ugly about the Kraken Knights? I am surely going to change the helmet - then they are perfect! Once they show up at PAB after many months of waiting and scalpers clearing the first batch and after a couple more months of waiting I'll pick them up when they are in stock again. I am sure they'll show up at PAB (fingers crossed!). Lego will earn more with both knights at PAB than from selling the prize machine set I am already thinking about mocs. Surely the kraken Knights will live near the sea and maybe also along the eastuaries of big rivers.

    If the minifig also would have light yellow legs it would be more convincing (matching Camilla's dress from the comic). I still remember reading the comic as a small kid. Redbeard blowing the wall... too early!

    There are too many people advertising their Rebrickable shops at Eurobricks and in the Lego community in general. On the first page of the EB Star Wars forum alone there are ads for 19 (if I counted correctly) rebickable models. I wish my adblocker would filter all Rebrickable ads out so I would not waste my time clicking on the threads! Rebrickable ads are everywhere. So annoying

    The last Lego Star Wars set I built was the diorama 75330 Dagobah Jedi Training. All the sets I bought afterwards I just bought for the parts and minifigs for my mocs but never built the official sets What about you?

    I wish we would get more Andor sets! It's painful to watch such a quality show and getting almost nothing in terms of sets, in terms of vehicles, locations and characters. I really liked the blue and black senate troopers. Need a battlepack with both, the regular and armored versions. Lego please! (It will never become reality, like the regular and armored Pre-Mor troopers ) Yep, the one Ghorman city is clearly modeled after French cities. If you look for houses in, for example, Grenoble or views of Grenoble with the mountains in the background you'll get the similarities. The Ghorman city looks more homogeneous than a real city but the houses are clearly modeled after French architecture. The Ghor language instantly sounded French. For the architecture style look up the term "Haussmann buildings". Ghorman city: Even the imperial troop carrier is modeled after a WW2 German armored car. See the sloped sides of the hull with its prominent lines, the silhouette of the front of the hull and the pods/wheel covers:

    Beautiful remake of the classic set I love all the details and stories you added! Like the soldier trying to get the key, the pirate slipping on the banana peel The rocks and hut are well build, the bridge is well constructed. Only the water maybe has a too regular pattern. But that is just a minor nitpick. Great job all around! And welcome to the forum @dogphish

    When do we usually get info about next years set names? Since this year is a dud, 2026 can't come soon enough.

    The Wolfpack torsos are currently available at PAB and should still be available for quite some time. And since they are part of the BDP series 8 palette i would assume they will be available well into the future?!? I ordered 3 torsos and there was no parts limit. The only limit I experienced was for some wedge plates of which I could order only 10.
