  1. Just in case anyone here thinks I'm just talking out of my rear end or something. :P Screenshot of my screen - hosted on my server as I'm not in a mood to shrink images. @Kdapt-Preacher@deraven
  2. Yeah I see them fine here. Could be a DNS Brownout/cloud disconnect - depends on where your located at regionally speaking. (Seattle,WA,USA here)
  3. Images are loading here - and I've got a rather aggressive ad filtration/pi-hole on my network :P So not sure if the links are already gone or something funny funny going on. (Confused) But yeah I second Kdapt - better to use your own hosting service or the ones he listed.
  4. "That's no moon...." Pretty spiffy. :)
  5. Asked and answered already....its no different than the UCS AT-AT. Most models can stand if balanced sufficiently enough.
  6. Can't wait to build my Otana....to have such a large MOC like that - work of art. Makes me really tempted to do some big MTron model or a big base. Too many things I want too do - so little time. :)
  7. Alright went simple this time - still want to try to keep some blue for LED's.
  8. Very nice! Only two comments 1: Was going to say that I don't recall a "Droid" having a pilot - but as I did some quick research - looks like in some cases it did. 2: The eyes on the tank where Red I thought. :) Either way - very very cool build.
  9. Ion Cannons tend to give me the impression they have significantly more hardware than an atypical laser canon. But yeah..I may slim it down...feel free to suggest different shapes.designs.
  10. Little sneak peak at my cannons. The blue one is the Ion Cannon - the other is the Laser Cannon - likening to the "Ground Buzzer" - both have a 2 long stud gap with a sliding hatch. both of these obviously are on the underside of the Ship. Ran into some issues however - may need to put a spacer on the axel/shaft if it drops too low - and I can't attach the "roof plate" on the cargo hatches to the main core as its off by a millimeter - gotta love the laws of stud spacing. It's not a terrible concern as its rather secure in its own right - was just hopping to reinforce that way. Waiting on Kdapt's feedback to see if it "really fits" - but I have to say - its coming along nicely. I'm open to suggestions on shaping the Ion Cannon - there's not much to pick from imagery wise other than the famous ginormous ion cannon on Hoth. May change laser cannon side - want to be able to put an LED on each of these. :D
  11. Looks good to me Kdapt - as I've played the game - pretty damn close.
  12. The Otana will have a retractable Laser Canon and a retractable Ion Canon - I successfully managed to design a model that will do the job. With a sliding hatch. Just need to do a little polish and cleaning on the overall structure and fine tuning. The Oval"syndrome" i keep complaining about may make it look awkward - but I'll make it work. I just barely had enough space to fit it - and didn't compromise the structure at all.
  13. Wow - just wow.
  14. I'm not even sure where your getting these ideas your pulling here....I'm just going to move along. Too many things wrong with your facts.
  15. So there is....wasn't easy to find - the manual is very crowded. How ironic that my little brainstorm is essentially the same lol. I stand corrected. :)
  16. The term gunship is too freely tossed around - to me a "gunship" is a ship with "lots of guns" - IE The Republic Gunship at least has some justification with the turrets 360 around the ship. All of which are Laser Cannons of some variety or type - yes its a troop carrier - but its also a handy defensible position with its array of armaments. The Slave I is more known for its fast speed and nasty "surprises" (seismic bombs - ion cannon - torps - missiles? - tractor beam) - Yes it has fully rotatable laser cannons and a second set...some....where...... Its a fast small ship - with a very specific purpose. Gunboat isn't that purpose honestly - its a hunter seeker killer....a predator. Gunboats are more offensive brawlers - aim to misbehave and blow stuff up. Slave I is more a surgeons tool - in the hands of Boba Fett - should make people sweat seeing it. Obviously the term will continue to get tossed around like a hot potato. But frankly the Slave I just simply does not fit that profile. It was designed to hunt prey - not necessarily kill them (They get paid more to bring them in "warm" :) )
  17. Just prototyped a design for a "concealed gun port" for the Otana's Ion Cannon and Laser Cannon. If its sound (have a friend of mine checking it out) - I'll be able to install it on the model. The UCS Falcon as it turns out has one - but its got no hatch. Just-like-the-falcon from the movies. I didn't like what lego chose to do - so spent hours googling today only to realize - there's this one speciaallllll brick that happens to be just riiiiiight. Ideally - Hatch should be closed when not in use - and when in use it slides open - gun drops out - pew pew pew zap zap zap (ion cannon) *see below giphy for awesome example* :) Stay tuned.
  18. Fair point - but then I'd pull a "who gives a crap what Disney says" - Bobba Fett's pride and joy is the Slave I What amuses me is there's a Slave II - manufactured by Mandal Motors (if you're thinking Mandalorian? ding ding ding!) A pursuit/enforcement ship. Last seen in use during the "Dark Empire" graphic novels - something Disney stomped like a cockroach with its infernally stupid new timeline (totally not bitter) Point being - they are making a molehill out of a mountain over the name - whose to say he didn't have more than one ship in his arsenal.
  19. You're not alone. And it's not really a gunship. Its a patrol/attack craft. From Kuat Drive Yards in-fact. (Yep the same people who made the Star Destroyers) The Firespray part is the class designation - likening to the YT-1300 Corellian Transport which is the designation of the "Millennium Falcon" - there's been other YT-1300's - the Sabra (sp?) from X-Wing Alliance for example. Its why I refuse to listen to the rumors these days. Bottom line - its the Slave I - pure and simple. (Ships are a thing of mine)
  20. Nicely done! Now lets see the Hammerhead :D
