  1. Thank you very much! It's definetly my favorite picture I took, I was pleasantly surprised with the light reflections after the render.
  2. Thank you very much! Indeed it's been fun playing with different pieces in colors that don't exist (yet... hopefully) I think I've been looking at the ship for so long that I got used to the mast size, but now that you say it, I can't help but agree. I was hoping to do so, but sadly I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. However I intend to build a larger ship in the future which will most likely be the first ship I order pieces for.
  3. The scene looks great! I love all the different colors and how well they work together, the buildings look really good as well.
  4. My first entry for task #11 strategic outposts
  5. It's been a long time coming, but i finally present my first ship moc, the Andromache. Equipped with a set of 7 sails and a broadside of nine 18 pounder cannons, the Andromache’s speed and maneuverability coupled with her firepower, makes her a dangerous opponent even for bigger ships. However in order to obtain such a high firepower while maintaining it's speed, compromises were made : The ship has very little cargo space which affects both her range and crew size. But that is of no concern to Scarver, as her main purpose will be to serve as escort or to hunt down enemy ships around Corrington Settlements. While sailing to Spudkirk the Andromache fell upon some rather unlucky Lotii raiders ---------- I'm very pleased with how the ship came out, it's based on the french Cutter "Le Cerf" from 1779. A special thanks @kurigan for pushing me in the right direction while building the ship She will be licenced as a Class 4.
  6. The soldiers look great!
  7. What an impressive fleet! I say this from the bottom of my heart : I hope we never meet
  8. Might just be my favoritt micro build! The amount of details you managed to fit inn is amazing. My personal favorite has to be the sheeps
  9. Oh my bad, saw other comments referring to the build But I've ever only used fleshies!
  10. Thank you! Thank you Hahaha fleshy figs any day of the week! It honestly wasn't the point to copy Ayrlego's base, but I guess all the years of seeing his posts on flickr has influenced me Thank you! I wasn't sure about the small weels at first, but then I tried them and now they're my favorite in terms of looks Thank you very much for the edits, it made it look so much better! If I had some of the older red coats designs I would definetly have used them, but at the moment I think the officers look alright as regulars.
  11. Cool scene ! The story was great and I love how lively your builds are
  12. As Corrington prepared for War against the Lotus, several military ships as well as merchants, loaded up with men and supplies in order to help our people in New Haven. Edward and his men spent a number of days at Port Woodhouse, arming merchant ships and recruiting volunteers, eager to join the cause. With his ship still under maintenance, Edward divided his crew, taking a few members with him to Spudkirk aboard a merchantman while the rest stayed at Port Woodhouse finishing his ship's renovations. Once they arrived at Spudkirk, Scarver offered his services to the army and got to work. Although having fought a few land battles, sea warfare is truly where he excels. He thus spent a day walking around the town's coast looking for the most suitable place for some fortifications to repel any naval invasions, based on where he himself would have landed troops. He pitched the idea to his superior who sent a group with him to build the strategic post. The battery post was built south of Sudikrik town on top of a cliff with, a small natural path leading down to its beach bellow. It's highground offers a clear view of the sea as well as an easily defendable position. As soon as the cannons had been placed, the post was handed over to the army who stationed 10 soldiers to keep watch at all times. ----- A troop raising build to raise a platoon in Spudkirk
  13. Very cool concept, looking forward to join the Lotii frontier
  14. I'm honored to have won, there was definetly some tough competition! Can the class 3 ship only be activated by a microbuild? Because I happen to have a class 3 Cutter moc ready to get posted.
  15. Great build as usual ! Fun to see more fleshies being used
  16. Thank you ! Thank you, I've had the chair built for over 4 years , was about time I finally used it Thank you very much ! Thanks, I have indeed had the build ready for a month now but kept procrastinating on coming up with a story The mouse is from the cmf series 18, the elephant lady figure, nothing custom in this build.
  17. The Grandall’s were the owners of a wealthy trade company in Eslandola. The company had been passed down for generations, but throughout the years, as trade grew in the new world, the companies who refused to expand disappeared one after the other. Antonio Grandall had watched his father run their company into bankruptcy. When he finally took over, he gained the trust of enough investors to maintain the company alive and relocate to the city of Punto Sur. Since then he has become a strong competitor who, despite being at the head of one of the smallest Elsandolan Trade companies, is both respected and feared by his opponants. If there is one thing you can say about Antonio Grandall, there's very few things he won't do to achieve his goals... On the company's most recent voyage, a portion of the profits had not made it back to Ponto Sur. Something Grandall can't let his investors know, but not to worry, Antonio will get his money back. ---- Excuse the bad picture quality. I realise you barely see him on the picture but Antonio Grandall is the man sitting behind the desk, the man with the money poutch is an investor and the poor captive is a member of the crew who kept part of the profits.
  18. Love this build, the colours and lights are superbe! And don't get me started on that orrery
  19. It's a trade office with an underground warehouse, pretty sure that works as a commerce property (?)
