Ah great thanks, hadn't clocked that. Luckily gotg3 is out tomorrow on Disney+ so I'll have a closer look. You're right to point out the price is the same as the baby Rocket ship. Shouldn't get our hopes up. Hopefully we'll get at least 1 figure we haven't had before.

High Evolutionary in the war bird set and lizard in the NWH set would be great. Definitely right a few wrongs from this year and show some joined up thinking. Apparently there will be a ravager groot minifig with the buildable rocket too. @Falconfan1414 is sharing these on instagram too so hopefully they are legit.

The rockets warbird set sounds interesting. Another gotg set is welcome. Wonder if they'll include a villain....

From @Scarilians list on page 87(there are more recent ones but I don't have a good way of finding them). There are listed 76222 and 76246 which we don't know about. Could by DC or not coming out this year though. Would we know if there was a GWP with avengers tower by now? What was the last marvel gwp we got? Shang Chi polybag? Wonder what the odds are for cmf reveal tomorrow at sdcc. Its the last day.

Yeah I agree. If that set was $50 and included the villain I think the reaction would be so much more positive. And @brickbride thanks for adding such a comprehensive post.

I've seen some rumblings on Instagram that we could be seeing the CMF series later today. Hopefully it will be soon, we need some more positive news on here!

Sad state of affairs when star wars is considerably better value than Marvel. I always thought star wars was the really expensive line

Speaking of discounts on expensive sets, the Bowie is now 30% off on Amazon in the UK if anyone is waiting for a decent discount.

The price of that Marvel's set is obscene. The ship itself looks good, but I've got no idea what they are basing that price on. Even compared to the Bowie and Quinjet from this year there is so much less there. The minifigs are pretty lacking too. Ms Marvel is good, but Photon is nearly identical to the CMF and captain Marvel we've had similar versions of too. And no villains? Again comparing this to the most recent iron man armoury, similar price and piece count but 8 figs vs 3?! And the armoury has spent most of it's life at least 25% off (even on the Lego website). I was debating a few of you some months ago about this set and I was arguing there was no way lego would charge that much and provide so little. But I was wrong so apologies to you. I'm usually pretty positive and forgiving about most things Lego as it's a fun hobby for me, but this set is terrible. I'd think twice about picking it up at 50% off. My son's recently got into Ninjago and we've picked up a few of those sets and the quality and value for money is so much higher there.

Don't worry, the next paragraph after that one says "also includes 3 non iconic movie characters, Dar-Ben and 2 kree warriors"

Maybe we should all hold our breath about everything until we get the official lego reveals for new sets

That's actually a pretty good idea. Especially as some figures don't have much in the way of obvious accessories, so this adds a bit extra. But I can see some people being annoyed at it, especially with the boxes being completely blind. It will be interesting to see how the boxes change things. I imagine the lego buy and sell facebook groups will be full of trades.

Hopefully they will use it as an opportunity to revisit some bits that were missed. There's plenty of scope for that. Spiderverse sets would be great. And some of the infinity saga stuff has been good too. I'm assuming they will do another modular too. We cam start speculating about that soon... The Monica minifig looks pretty average to me. Its nearly identical to the cmf version. Though not sure what difference I was expecting.

These are the designer notes on brickset about the BP bust Designed during COVID lockdown. I was allowed to work in my LEGO basement at home as it is not visible from outside the building. I think it may have benefited from input from other designers, maybe cleaner builds or reaching solutions faster than working alone. However I'm happy with the final look and I'm proud to have worked on this LEGO set. It's the second helmet design worn by Chadwick Boseman, an actor who really brought this hero (who had previously not meant a lot to me) to life, his performance made T'Challa heroic, cool, and above all empathetic. He is gone from this world far too soon. LEGO will never mention him in official marketing, it would be ghoulish, but speaking personally he is why I wanted to be the designer on this set.

Scarillion has it listed for $524.99 so I'd expect it to be around £450. Rivendell and the hulkbuster are similar prices with similar differences between gbp and usd.

Lineup sounds great, glad that 12 fig rumour didn't come to pass. Can't wait to see the set when it's finally revealed. Glad it's whole MCU and not just AOU. One of the bugles strengths was having minifigs up the whole structure and it looks like you'll be able to do that was this too. I imagine there will be a few of the trans bars for displaying figures on the outside. I'd be amazed if Loki wasn't there too especially with 4 chitauri. I imagine they will include a small flyer from the original avengers. Wasp is interesting as it sounds like it won't be a microfig. Is she ever in the tower in the MCU? I can't remember her being there, but won't complain. It's a shame there's no quicksilver mentioned. And a Erik Selvig figure would have been good though he's pretty generic. SWAT Tony Stark would have been great too but maybe Swat figures are too far for lego.
