  1. So what you are saying is the rocket set will be on sale at the same time as the spoiler sets with the high evolutionary, Kraglin, Gamora and Lylla. Great to hear!
  2. Strangely only 2/3 Guardians sets are due to retire this year. Baby Rockets ship is due to stay longer. https://www.brickfanatics.com/every-lego-set-retiring-in-2023-march-update @Goofster he's talking about the the buildable Ant Man figure (but put figures as talking about the GOTG3 sets as well)
  3. 3 figs and a light up goose is a day 1 purchase for me
  4. Can't wait until that's announced. This board is going to kick off . Can't see it myself. Even the stuntz and jurrasic world sets with huge pieces have better pricing. Your guess a month ago was 5 figures and I think that will be about right.
  5. Come on. You aren't using all the information available. From what I can gather you are basing all this on a hasbro leak. We know Samuel L Jackson is in the film so that's 4 characters already. Lego also get info about the film in advance to base the sets on. Just because we don't know it yet, doesn't mean they dont. And I don't think the sets you mentioned are comparable because of the price. I'll ask again, if it does have just 3 figures, where does the value come from in the 420 pieces? I get that people are disappointed by the ant man set. But even with recent dissapointments/price rises I cant see a $90 minifig scale set with 420 pieces come with just 3 figs.
  6. That is wildly pessimistic based on the price and piece count that we already know. You have every reason to assume there will be more figures due to the price. What else is going to be in there to make it 90 dollars if it just has 3 figures?
  7. There's alot of pessimism around this set. A 420 piece set for $90 surely cant contain just 3 figures. Comparing the price to equivalent recent sets gives you 5-8 figures (war in water and iron man armoury). And those were thought to be ludicrously priced. This set has fewer pieces again (war on water is 545 pieces and the armoury is 496). Then at the other side of things, the latest hulkbuster has 385 pieces and 4 figures and costs half the price! I can't see them releasing a set without a villain either. Even if we don't know who it is, lego will receive more info to design the sets. They have form for spoilers. So my guess, based on the above is a set with a spaceship made with some fairly large pieces. Plus 5-6 figures Marvels x 3 Nick Fury Plus 1 or 2 more ( kree and a skull?)
  8. I watched Ant Man 3 last night. A modular of Hank Pyms house would be a good set. While it's not particularly iconic its a would fit the modular look, it's been in all 3 films and it could be stuffed full of good minifigures and easter eggs. It would also appeal to modular fans who have no interest in Marvel, like the sanctum did. I appreciate this isn't going to happen.
  9. Come off it. You really think its going to have 3 figures and less than 500 pieces for 90 dollars?
  10. Haha I don't know either, I've just seen it mentioned. I guess in theory it should be possible, but you'd probably need a super sensitive set of scales. I enjoyed going to the shops with my son and feeling the bags, getting a few at a time. Took a few weeks to do it so felt like an achievement to do it. I'll miss that and probably end up buying a complete set from somewhere. I'm with you on a series of 18. we don't know how mnay there will be. Keeping my fingers crossed for 18 though! The disney series that's just been announced looks great.
  11. Especially if everyone is taking scales into the shop to weigh the boxes 😅
  12. That must be the best case scenario for that set, with the build presumably being a spaceship. The war on the water set is the same price with slightly more pieces but 3 fewer figures. We seem to get pretty decent discounts on both the armoury and black panther boat in the UK (20-30% at least) so hopefully this will continue.
  13. Thanks, hadn't seen that article. I think it is black panther next in 15, so maybe rescue will be in 16. Yeah this article said December https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.brickfanatics.com/pepper-potts-lego-rescue-armour-is-flying-back-to-stores/amp But we didn't get it in the UK. I'd assume the mags are the same but maybe that's wrong.
  14. Does anyone know whats going on with the lego superheros magazine? The website says they alternate between marvel and dc but not sure how the new spiderman one fits into it? There was a rescue figure leaked months ago but I haven't seen it in shops yet. Presumably that figure will appear in the new avengers tower anyway.....?
  15. Absolutely. No guarantee of anything but fun to speculate.
  16. Still a decent suggestion though. He's right about what the bugle designer said. So in that regard the Jan sets and the figures in them could be a clue.
  17. I'd be interested to know more about this process too.
  18. As long as the proportions are way off and baby groot fits inside I'll be happy
  19. This has to be avengers tower right?
  20. She Hulk was good, I'd definitely give it a go, especially as you have watched most/all of the other MCU series. Hopefully we get a decent she hulk in the CMF
  21. Can't wait to see the 4000 piece, £500 Giant Man set that the buildable Ant Man fits inside.
  22. The antman set has leaked. Actually looks pretty good
  23. Wondering if this could be similar to the Gotham set that just leaked
  24. Feels like we've been speculating about the ant man one for ages and the guardians ones have snuck up on us.
