  1. I wouldn't mind another couple of mechs. It would be more than we got for what if season 2. At least the season 1 mechs brought some interesting figures. We wouldn't have got the Watcher fig anywhere else.
  2. We didn't hear about the Avengers Tower GWP until quite late relative to the set coming out. Based on that set, I wouldn't get your hopes up about an exclusive figure or anything. The taxi was such a poor set compared to what it could have been! Me too. I missed out on Hela last time and can't justify the cost now!
  3. Agree about Ronan. I think he'll definitely be in the Milano. And that same thought had crossed my mind about the Avengers Tower too. I haven't bought it yet but wondering if I'll need too.
  4. Sounds like a strong lineup, or at least one with lots of potential. Can't wait to see pics.
  5. On IG now that there will be an Iron Legion vs Ultron Sentries battle pack
  6. New marvel character encyclopedia coming this October with an exclusive figure. Hope its a good one! "Meet more than 200 minifigures from the LEGO® Marvel world – plus an exclusive minifigure for your collection! Get the lowdown on Marvel’s magnificent Super Heroes, including Spider-Man™, Scarlet Witch™, Black Panther™, and face up to their fiendish foes, including Green Goblin, Red Skull, and Doctor Doom. Marvel’s fan-favourite Super Heroes and Super Villains jostle for attention with rarer – but equally fascinating – minifigures in the LEGO Marvel Character Encyclopedia. It’s the perfect handbook for fans of the LEGO Marvel world."
  7. I agree! I think the Star Wars stuff sounds great, it sounds like What If to me (which is rumored to be coming for Star Wars). Definitely scope for sets like that in the Marvel theme, especially with fewer films coming out.
  8. Yeah it has been a slow start to the year. I think this could be a quieter year for Lego Marvel overall. I don't think we'll get past the 237 pages of the 2023 thread! In terms of suits, I'd echo whats been said above. Colour variety would be great. The Hot Rod, Gamma, Blue Steel, Tiger, Starboost and Disco ones would all be interesting. I think the mansion structure could look really good. I think the figures would be the issue. We'd all want it to be like the tower or bugle with 25+ figures, but I could see it being more like the sanctum with 7 figs and lots of wasted potential.
  9. Good shout. Do you see it as a modular? Or at least modular compatable? Be a great way to get some more suits for the hall of armour. 13
  10. Hopefully there will be as its a great way to get more characters. The official lego site in the UK has them at 20% off currently though, if that's any indication of performance. I don't remember other series being discounted? (Not that I look too closely at other series)
  11. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1P9bBopgud/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MjM0N2Q2NDBjYg== Merry Christmas!
  12. There's a mini ninjago city set doing the rounds on instagram. Looks like a real set. Anyone know anything about it?
  13. Thanks so much! Those had all slipped my mind
  14. Do we know much about what to expect after the january sets? We had quite a few leaks last Christmas time so hopefully we should be hearing something soon.
  15. These two comments are spot on and echo my thoughts exactly. Overall a great set, just a shame the 2 figures are repeats when it's clearly meant to go alongside the statue of liberty set.
  16. Yeah its a decent set, but nothing there for anyone who has picked up previous gotg waves. Which is a shame as there is still lots of potential for decent sets from the guardians films.
  17. Sorry to go back to this, but how does this set cost just £5 more than the hoopty? 10 more figs and 1400 more pieces https://brickset.com/article/102118/review-80113-family-reunion-celebration
  18. It looks like that graphic is a bit misleading, potentially due to changes between reporting after the first 6 months of the financial year, and the year end. Lego themselves say: "Top selling themes in no particular order were LEGO® City, LEGO® Creator, LEGO® Friends, LEGO® Technic™, LEGO® Classic and LEGO® Star Wars™. The LEGO® Harry Potter™, LEGO® Super Heroes (Marvel Avengers) and LEGO® Disney™ Princess themes also performed strongly." Taken from here: https://www.lego.com/fr-fr/aboutus/news/2020/march/annual-results So it was selling well, but not in the top 6. But like you say it's not massively important, just interesting.
  19. I shouldn't take the bait here, but I will point out that Friends sells more than Superheroes
  20. I'll keep my fingers crossed for one in 2024. Maybe a smaller comic inspired modular. I think having nothing but skyscrapers would look a bit strange. It's nice having the sanctum to break things up so hopefully there is a smaller (and cheaper) one coming next year.
  21. Ah thanks. I saw the x mansion leak when it came out. I thought we were talking about modulars but just read it back and we've switched to D2Cs. I wasn't sure if I'd missed something with regards to x mansion. As far as I'm aware we haven't heard anything about a modular next year?
  22. Who have we heard that off? Or is it a guess?
  23. I'm enjoying this reaction to the name Spin. I've known the character as Spin for the past 2 years as my son watches the show. However I've just looked back at the Lego sets before this wave and he's always been called Miles Morales: Spiderman before now.
  24. Thanks for sharing. Looks alright, though not sure about those big pieces.
  25. Interesting to see the Taxi GWP is still available (in the UK at least). Wonder if that can give any indication about sales. We're all used to seeing the GWPs fly off the shelves.
