  1. They could also just be including her in the sets but not bringing her back for the show, or at least not immediately (sort of like how we got non-ghost Cole in Skybound even though he was a ghost for that whole season).
  2. I think the pack sounds good. Like most people I'd have preferred P2 versions of Rex and Cody, but I think we'll get them sooner rather than later, Andrew regardless accessory packs don't have new molds anyway. If they're doing this than Lego obviously knows the demand is there, so I imagine we'll probably see P2 versions in the coming years.
  3. I can see why the character selections are disappointing, but if they'd had four minifigs then I think I would have probably picked up one of each. But for $15, three figs and a small side-build is just not enough.
  4. That employee set sounds awesome. I've never really been interested by them in the past, but I guess making one for my favorite theme did the trick.
  5. Assuming they don't leak on any store websites, I think we'll probably see them sometime between next Monday and Friday. There are still a good amount of themes to be revealed, but we're fairly close to the release of the Winter 2022 sets so Lego can't really hold back the pictures much longer before we start seeing some of them in the wild.
  6. Wow this wave is great. I really like the City of Lanterns and Macaque's Mech, I'll have to try and pick up both of them at some point. The other sets are good too, especially Nezha's ring, but I don't have unlimited funds so I think I'll have to skip them. Also, is it just me or are there even more variants of the characters than usual? I don't mind, but it is kind of weird. The evil monkies are cool too, I'm glad we're finally getting some more massable evil soldiers that aren't the boars.
  7. It really was a bizarre choice to only do What If...? since it was certainly the least high-profile of the Disney+ shows. That's not necessarily bad, but it doesn't make much sense in my opinion. Perhaps I'm just too cynical, but I almost feel like the only reason they chose to make those sets was as a way to justify making two more Marvel mechs.
  8. It does seem like there has perhaps been more complaints than the numbers would warrant, but in fairness there really haven't been all that many PT/CW sets in the past few years, especially before last year. I think that's where the feeling that PT fans were getting stiffed comes from, and while the notion that Lego has been purposely avoiding the PT is clearly false, it is also objectively true that it hasn't gotten nearly as much attention as OT has for the last few years. From Lego's perspective it made sense to do that since they were primarily focused on the new movies. They knew OT was always a good fallback if the new sets didn't sell, so that's why the rest of the line-up tended to lean that way. Hopefully know that there aren't as many movies releasing we'll start to see a better mix of the trilogies.
  9. I wonder how long they'll keep it around. You would think they'd want to keep making it for a while since it's very recognizable and from the most popular Star Wars story of the Disney era, but sometimes Lego makes weird decisions. I guess if they have a lot of other Mandalorian sets coming up they also might just not feel like they need it.
  10. Definitely an interesting choice. It seems a little bit riskier than any of the ones they've done so far in the sense that it's definitely the least iconic by a good amount, but it is also relevant so I guess that probably makes up for it.
  11. That would be awesome but I think it's more likely we'll get something else. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the current pattern for CMF series is that every year we get two based on different IT'S from different companies, as well as a regular original series (not in that order though). I don't think any company has ever had more than one CMF series in one year, and if anything I think Disney would want something like Star Wars since that seems to be possible now and would sell comparable amounts to the Marvel series, assuming it's similar I'm quality. My guess is we get a second Marvel CMF series in 2023.
  12. Exactly. I would have preferred to get something other than an AT-ST again, but if Lego was dead-set on doing one then I think they made the best choice they could. We got new figs and a new variant of the vehicle, plus it fits with the other Hoth stuff we're getting.
  13. Yeah, I'm guessing the next NC expansion is going to come out in 2023, probably in January like the Gardens did. One D2C every other year seems to roughly be the pattern, and while I don't think it's inconceivable that they'd try something else, I don't really see why Lego wouldn't do another expansion when it still could work as a standalone set, and the others (especially the original and Gardens) were both wildly popular.
  14. I don't think there's a specific order, but the reason we've only seen a few sets for each theme is because they just have smaller waves for this January. We'll probably see all of Ninjago's winter 2022 sets whenever they get revealed since Ninjago typically releases in January for most countries. They've separated the winter waves the last year or two if I remember right, but since we don't have Legacy any more I don't think they'll do that again, meaning we should be seeing the new sets fairly soon.
  15. It really is a shame that the battle pack is kind of overpriced because it's otherwise really good. Great selection of minifigures, nice builds, and nary a stud shooter in sight. Not sure if I'd be getting it either way but it's objectively good in my opinion.
  16. To be fair, that bar is so low that this new set physically would not fit under it. Anyway, I think the new mechs are alright, pretty much just more of the same. I don't have Wolverine so I might get his mech but otherwise I'm lukewarm on these.
  17. One thing to note about EVO (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), but the term might not even be used in English since those names were all translated, I think from German. EVO is a specific term they came up with so I think it's more likely to stick than say (for example) the "Action" name for what ended up being the Nexo Knights Battle Suits, but it's not guaranteed to be in the name.
  18. I 100% agree with you. I imagine it just comes down to marketing. It's very easy to sell the average person on "MCU but zombies", more so than probably any other concept I can think of off the top of my head. If nothing else, I do think that having more time to flesh out the plot will at least mean the show will probably be a bit better than that episode. As for sets, even though I would prefer they focus on other shows, I think Zombies is almost guaranteed to get a set. It's just too marketable for Lego to pass up.
  19. I've gotten to the point where I don't even check it anymore because I just always assume there won't be anything new. It really does seem like Lego has gotten better at keeping things from getting out, which is good for them but not so much for us. I wonder if we'll even see leaks before the sets are officially revealed; at this point we're only a month out from around when we see the official images.
  20. Funny enough Brickset did an article on potential OT UCS sets and the poll at the bottom had the Landspeeder at 10%, which is decent considering there were a bunch of choices. It doesn't really appeal to me, but like I said I'm not into UCS sets to begin with so I'm probably not their target audience. It is the most iconic OT ship they haven't done as an UCS set at this point, so I guess it makes sense.
  21. I'd honestly forgotten about that until you just mentioned it. It's no skin off my back since I don't buy UCS sets but if I did I feel like I wouldn't be too happy about that choice. It's actually hilarious, if it had been leaked on April 1st I would have automatically assumed it was a joke. I have to wonder to, who actually wants this? And I mean that in a literal sense, surely Lego did some market research and figured that an UCS Landspeeder would sell. I'm not into UCS so maybe it's just me, but I don't really see the appeal.
  22. I'm going to withhold judgement until we get pictures, but if that is the case then it will be disappointing for sure. I'll probably still get if the build is nice since I think it could be a nice set, and I don't have Boba or Fennec yet, but I'm really hoping the bounty hunters are at least relatively important characters.
  23. I think a mold is ideal, but with the variety of parts we have these days a brick-built Rancor could probably turn out at least okay. As you pointed out, a Rancor is way bigger than the typical brick-built animals we get, so it'll probably be okay even if it isn't molded.
  24. I think the confusion stems from the fact that originally it was leaked as being a battle pack, but afterwards leakers started saying it actually wasn't a battle pack. I would have preferred it to be a battle pack but I'm also not much of an army builder so I'm not outraged.
  25. I always figured Ninjago would get a space wave sometime in the next couple of years, so this is kind of surprising. It's a cool set, but I don't have much interest in it. I hope we get another location set in the same vein as the Flower Fruit Mountain in this wave, but I wonder what it would even be. Maybe a temple on the moon or something?
