  1. The Nano Gauntlet looks pretty nice. I don't usually pick up statue builds and don't plan on getting that one either, but it came out pretty good in my opinion, better than Thanos's Gauntlet. At this point it feels like the $500 set has to be coming out a bit later than everyone thought, assuming it hasn't been straight-up cancelled. Releasing 3 $200+ Marvel sets so close together does not make a lot of sense, even if they do all end up being fairly different. And while the timing of a leak does not always correlate with when the set comes out, it would make sense that we've only gotten a tiny bit of information about it thus far if the set itself is still a ways off from releasing.
  2. I suppose we will have to see how important he is in the new season, but if he does end up being one of the main antagonists then there's a decent shot we'll get him. Lego obviously knows he's super popular, so that also might count for something.
  3. I'm honestly surprised how much I've liked what I've seen of the bike. Typically the small $20~ bikes don't grab my interest, but Jay's new one just seems very well made, especially as I have seen more pictures of it. I could see myself impulse buying it once it comes stateside.
  4. I agree with the smoothness thing, it really does look quite good on that front. Aside from the obvious problem of price though, I do wish the colors were a little more interesting. For me most Star Wars ships differentiate themselves based on a unique shape and/or a good color scheme. This one has neither in my opinion, which isn't Lego's fault, but doesn't help sell me on the set.
  5. BD-1 looks good I think, I don't really care about the droid models or the game though so I am probably not the best person to comment on it anyway. The Andor ship looks pretty nice, but as others have said, it's way too small. I genuinely do not understand how that thing is just under 700 pieces, if you told me it was 500 I'd believe you. I guess the speeder bumps it up, but the set just doesn't look like it should be $70.
  6. 17. Lancethecat These are all really great, but I love how this one in particular is such a smart recreation of one of the best scenes of Into the Spiderverse.
  7. Does anyone have any idea how much Taun We might cost second-hand? I definitely would like to get her, but I don't have any reason to buy the new starfighter. Typically I don't buy minifigures second-hand since I tend to find them to be too expensive, but I imagine Taun We wouldn't cost too much since the set is only $30.
  8. No, they are just one set, 40547: Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader. I've never bought any Brickheadz so I may be incorrect, but I believe every model has a unique number, so a set that includes multiple will have a number for each. I have to say, the more I look at the Scythe, the more I like it. I'm going to try and hold off on it until later this year, but if Kenobi ends up being good I could see myself picking it up sooner rather than later.
  9. I guess that's fair, because it's probably the set I'm the most interested in too. I wouldn't have minded another exclusive, or even some of the other currently exclusive characters like Wu or Garmadon, but as is the set itself seems pretty great (albeit too expensive).
  10. The starfighter looks decent, the cockpit looks too high but overall it's still good. The minifigures are great, especially Taun We, but I already have the Hyperdrive version so I'm going to be skipping this one. The Inquisitors' ship looks great, honestly way better than I was expecting. The minifigures look good too from what I can see, so I may end up getting it if I can manage to afford it (unfortunately it's not super high on my priority list). Hopefully the other upcoming sets look as good as these ones do, especially the shuttle.
  11. I still find it really bizarre that Oni Lloyd is the only exclusive character in the dragon. I don't necessarily mind if a set is lacking in exclusive minifigures, but it just feels weird that it's only got Lloyd, whereas the third and second most expensive sets have three and six exclusive minifigures respectively. Even the temple, which retails for $60 less than the dragon in the US, has four unique minifigures.
  12. I feel like they'll probably reveal both of them. As you said the ship seems like a no-brainer, and while I could see them holding back the duel since it could kinda be a spoiler, the marketing has already been leaning into the fact that they are going to end up fighting. I guess they could just hold it back anyway, but it doesn't seem like the N1 situation where that ship's existence was a surprise.
  13. I feel like this is almost certainly going to lead to some ethically questionable products, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the idea of a Stan Lee minifigure.
  14. I tend to agree that not every character needs a mold, even if oftentimes they'd be appreciated, but in this case I do think the requests are a little more warranted. If Lego is going to make a character exclusive to a massively overpriced ship (with two repeat minifigures to boot), I would hope they go all out on them. I don't think it was realistic to expect a new hair piece for her, but it would have made the Justifier a little bit of a better deal.
  15. They are pretty hard to come by at most retailers even online, so I would not expect to find them in-person. I managed to get a few online from Best Buy a couple months back, but I don't know that they're still available.
  16. That review has definitely cemented the Crystal King as the Ninjago set which I am currently most interested in. It's just a very unique build compared to the usual (albeit still really great) stuff we tend to get, and the minifigure selection looks good too. From what we have seen it also seems to be one of the more reasonably priced sets from the upcoming wave, so I don't think I will mind picking it up even if it isn't discounted.
  17. That is definitely unfortunate if that's the case, but I also wouldn't be too worried about Rex. He's probably the second-most popular character to originate from one of the animated Star Wars shows, and he also has the added benefit of (most likely) still featuring in future Star Wars media. I would be more surprised if we don't see him again, especially if he ends up being important in future seasons of the Bad Batch.
  18. I hope Taun We doesn't end up being too expensive to buy separately. I definitely would like to get a Kaminoan at some point, but I already have the Starfighter + Hyperdrive Ring from a couple of years ago, so the new starfighter probably won't do anything for me. Then again, I might just wait since the fact that they are willing to make a Kaminoan head mold at all suggests that Lego will probably give us at least one more eventually.
  19. I've always wondered about the Shurikens myself, and seeing them here leads me to believe that it probably is just what you said. By their nature they just aren't very big, so it's hard to make them as detailed as they are in the TV and official art.
  20. Very cool that we are finally getting Cody. I don't personally care about him too much but I am quite happy to hear that we're getting a new phase 2 helmet with attachment points. That could open up a lot of possibilities for other notable clones, so hopefully we see some in the coming years.
  21. Having seen the new pictures of the Dragon of the East, I do think it looks a lot better than I'd first thought. The design is unique, and the head is very impressive. It's a good set, though I don't think I'll be getting it with so much else I'm interested in coming out this August.
  22. Having looked at the US prices on Lego.com, I am inclined to agree that some of them seem overpriced. Cole and Kai's vehicles in particular, as well as the dragon all seem small relative to the price. The Temple I am less sure on, it looks fairly big but it's also pretty open. Overall though it's not the end of the world; all of these will go on discount eventually, and for 20% off I think all of them are at least a decent value.
  23. I wouldn't say it's guaranteed to be Cody by any means, but I agree that is has to be something (probably someone) relatively big. Otherwise there would really not be much of a reason to hype up a rendition of a vehicle we've already gotten several times.
  24. Looking at the Team Van again, I have to say that it seems a bit overpriced. It looks fun and the PPP is fine, but I cannot help but feel it appears smaller than the price tag would suggest. Maybe that's just me though, and I'm not too in love with it anyways so I don't care as much. The Heavenly Realms is a bit harder to gauge on that front, but at the very least I think it is priced reasonably. Whether it is a good deal or not is a bit hard to tell without seeing it from all angles, put the PPP is a good sign.
  25. There haven't been any rumblings about one to my knowledge, and it seems like there haven't been as many of them in recent years (that's based purely on my own observation though, not any sort of empirical evidence). I certainly wouldn't mind another set, but as is this wave already feels pretty complete to me, at least character-wise. I guess if they wanted to though, they could do another set that comes with a villain we haven't seen return yet, like Unagami.
