  1. I think it looks okay, but I don't really see where the pieces went. It just kinda looks like another one of the helmet sets with arms added on. And maybe it's just me, but I cannot see this selling very well. I don't know if it'll be on the level of Camp Nou or Queer Eye, but even for non-Lego fans, I imagine this would seem very expensive for what you get.
  2. I imagine it was mostly just due to Lego's lack of interest in doing any UCS prequel sets. I think we will see one at some point though, since it's pretty highly requested and (as you said) important to the trilogy. Unless the Gunship sold really badly, I'd be surprised if we don't start seeing more prequel UCS sets.
  3. I know the leakers have been saying for a while that it's going to disappoint people, but this $500 set has to be one of the most bizarre releases Lego has ever done, assuming everything we've heard about it is correct.
  4. Well, I have to get Morbius, so it's nice the set isn't too expensive. The rest doesn't interest me much, though I do find it interesting that we seem to be getting two legacy MCU sets. I don't think that's ever happened in a winter wave before.
  5. I don't think it's likely (read: ever going) to happen, but I'd love if we got a new set based on the seige of Umbara. It's probably my favorite story in any Star Wars media, and I'd kill for Pong Krell. Unfortunately I missed the first set he came in, and these days he's rather expensive. It'd also be a nice way to get some more of the named 501st clones, though I could see that happening anyway.
  6. Would a statue of Green Goblin getting impaled by it count as a "vehicle"?
  7. At this point I think the most likely choice is something related to the original Avengers as a sort of nod to the anniversary. My guess is either a diorama of the Battle of New York or a UCS Quinjet, though I don't know if there's actually much demand for either of those (especially the latter).
  8. The frog lady would be fun, and as you said, she doesn't seem likely too appear anywhere else. I think there are some other (named) characters they'll prioritize, but depending on how big the figure line up is I think she's got a decent shot. She's certainly one of the more memorable one-off characters, to me at least.
  9. Sounds like a good list, though the only one I'm definitely getting is the BP. Mando sets are a maybe, but it'll depend on how much I like S3 and if the sets themselves are any good.
  10. I'm still shocked every time I realize how long it's been since we've gotten Endor sets. I agree they seem pretty likely for next year, but it would be a little funny if we just didn't get any.
  11. I think Ahsoka makes a lot of sense, though I wouldn't say she seems guaranteed either. The main point in her favor is that it's all but certain we'll get a modern version of her in at least one set next year between Mando S3 and her own show; since that's the case, it's not hard to imagine that Lego might just make that figure temporarily exclusive to the UCS Razorcrest before she shows up in other, cheaper sets next year.
  12. Has there never been a trans-blue chain before? I could have sworn I had one, but I also have no idea what it even would have come from.
  13. It would make a little more sense if Lego did know something we didn't, but as you pointed out it's strange that the designs would be from S1 if it was made because of it appearing in S2. Even if it was made because it shows up in the new season, seeing more pictures and reviews of this thing has only left me more confused on why it was made in the first place. Not only is it way too expensive, but speaking purely in terms of size, it just seems too big. Obviously it's plenty big in the show, but it's not minifig scale (as far as I remember at least), and the interior details included could have been done at a smaller scale. It really feels to me like it should have been scaled down a bit and sold for $100 (probably $110 with the price increases).
  14. That would be nice. I'm glad Zane is going to be in there, since I don't care about the Raider but wanted him. I wonder if we might see any of the named villains in one of these at some point.
  15. I agree, for what they are I honestly think they're pretty good. I will admit that I don't like them enough to buy them, but if Lego makes even just a few more dedicated molds for buildable figures, I think they could turn out quite good. I'd prefer for good old fashioned Bionicles to come back, but this isn't the worst possible replacement (assuming it is meant to be one in the first place).
  16. Having looked at a review and some more pictures of the Andor set, I honestly kind of like it. It's just a shame it's so horrifically overpriced, because I'm not really interested in getting it for more than mayhem $50, and that would require me to like the show too.
  17. If it turns out good and I end up getting everything else I'm interested in for this year, then I might get it eventually. My main problem with it is just that I'm not a huge fan of the Hulkbuster's design. I love mechs (Lego or otherwise) and am always intrigued by big ones, but I'm not sure if Lego will be able to do much to get me to get it when I don't like the source material much and it costs $200+. That all being said, I am reserving judgement until we finally get to see it (hopefully soon).
  18. I hope it isn't Core since I generally wasn't a huge fan of those sets, but either way I'm sure we'll get at least a few interesting builds and characters out of this next wave.
  19. How many Mando sets do you guys think we can expect from this new wave? I feel like there's no way there isn't at least one, and I think there could even be as many as four if Lego is feeling confident in the series. My guess would probably be two though, since I imagine Lego will do at least one more next summer to cover some of the more spoiler-y elements of season 3.
  20. Honestly I'm not really as in love with these as everyone else seems to be, but the minifigures are really great (aside from the inaccurate hairpiece of course). I will probably end up getting at least one of them if I end up enjoying the movie, which I'm thinking will be the case.
  21. The winter wave looks like it could be interesting, but I'm not going to get my hopes up yet. It could pretty realistically be 2 or 3 Mando sets along with some OG trilogy sets to round things out. If they do go that route, I'd hope they at least pull from some things we've seen less of lately, like Endor.
  22. Wow, I don't even care about Baby Groot and I still might get that. What a ridiculously good deal, original value of the two sets notwithstanding.
  23. I really hope that isn't the case, but I could see it for sure. At bare minimum, I hope all of them are based on episodes we actually end up with. I'm guessing it wasn't Lego's fault, but I still think that Sakaar Hulkbuster was a total waste when there were so many interesting things in the show that they didn't cover.
  24. For some reason I was expecting them to be similar in scale to the original set, but in hindsight that makes no sense. They both look neat, but I don't think most people would disassemble the set just for those.
  25. Yeah I just finally took a look at him, and while his face sort of look like it's melting off, overall I think he is okay. My main hope for the minifigs (as is the case for many people, I imagine) is that Lego actually sticks to what that designer said a while ago and doesn't keep any of the figs exclusive. I feel like it's also a lot less justifiable for something like this, where most if not all of the characters included will be named, with unique designs. It's one thing if I miss out on a slightly unique clone trooper fig, but missing Kuill, the Mythrol, the Client, or most other options for the Razorcrest would suck.
