  1. Still holding out for those 9's to show up, heh.
  2. Thormanil attacks the Berserker from the front row with Shishkebab. unless I've somehow buggered that and missed an immunity. I think I'm alright this time, though.
  3. I.. wow. I'm really sorry, folks. Okay so, Berserker or Black Knight?
  4. "The black knight it is, then." He attacks the Black Knight from the front row.
  5. Clearly your dwarf should have a literal cannon strapped to his back and he would simply get on all fours to brace himself when he fires!
  6. Thormanil groaned, "Ughh, for a small town, they've got a lot of mimics runnin' around. Might wanna let us take the lead in case Arx chips in." The pair aim for Alchemist A from the front row with Shishkebab.
  7. As if snapping out of a daze, Thormanil shifts his focus to Junior Skirmisher A from the front row, reequipping Shishkebab. Sorry about that, interesting few days. Back to normal, though!
  8. Skirmisher B, Front Row, Gladiator Trident
  9. ABBAB seems reasonable to me.
  10. Welp, that went about as I'd expected based on the deck I got randomed. Kinda disappointing, but oh well. Should have shelled out the extra 25 gold for an Expert's Deck. Hindsight's 20/20 and all that, heh. I'm still in the market for a Dark 9 and Icy 9 if anyone happens to get one.
  11. Upon landing, Thormanil takes only a single step back before attacking Golem Skirmisher A from the front row.
  12. Oh, so that Swift Halberd wasn't just rebalanced out of the loot drops? Excellent! Dibs!
  13. "Strategy's never been my strong suit, heh" He plays his Igniphant (Fiery 6) then ends with his Aepyornis (Flying 4).
  14. Skirmisher A, back row, Shishkebab. Sorry, internet on campus went out.
  15. "Heh, just tossin' out the wonderful hand I was dealt by that stupid machine." as he drops his Scarab (Rock 1), then his Holy Cow (Luminous 4).
  16. Thormanil drops his Ursa Minor (Ethereal 1).
  17. Honestly, Round 1 doesn't matter worth squat. Like, unless you just get screwed on the cards that the NPC brings and/or you play poorly, most of us should pass the first round. And honestly, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see some 7's, 8's, and 9's dropped by the 1st round NPC's that we are able to trump with some low cards so that we can diversify our decks a bit for round two. That's why, despite my rather shoddy draw, I'm not too worried. Toss my Eth1 out first round and then worry about trumping.
  18. Thormanil looks around and with a surprisingly nervous tone, responds, "Uh, well.. No, maybe, ghost town, what men, you folks, and no, we've wrecked each golem we've seen so far, if those are your prototypes."
  19. Was it confirmed somewhere that no NPC's would toss out Element-10's, which could be trumped and then used to beat an Ethereal-9? But yeah, I'll be in the market for some 9's when all is said and done, especially since I don't see myself going very far with this hand.
  20. Thormanil repeats, but with Gladiator Trident.
