  1. Arm printing definitely seems to be more common in wide-release sets at this point. I don't see these figures not coming with this new printing in any more sets they come in now, especially since there aren't that many sets that 3PO and R2 come in anymore.
  2. This. The fact is, everyone is taking the Gunship designer's word as indicative of the entire LSW team's mindset, when given the precedent of other UCS sets, the LSW team does not seem at all opposed to putting more detailed figures in the D2Cs than in the main-release sets. This has been evident for a while, even if a single designer video showed that perhaps that set's designer does not agree with this idea. To put it simply, for most sets, it's a marketing thing. It makes sense for LEGO to place the more detailed "collector" figures in the specialty sets as both a bonus for buying the D2C and as a better version to display with the set. I don't think a lot of kids greatly care that C3PO has a silver leg or not. Many of them would just want C-3PO (and even if they did notice, they would not care much). It makes more sense to put these figures in the sets they know are made for adults who will care more about having the collectors' variations in the collectors' sets. And it also gives more reason to buy these larger sets for the special figures as well as the model. As an aside, I do think the dual-moulding has a bit of extra cost to it, if I remember correctly, so that does affect the placement of figures as well.
  3. There's a clearer front of box picture around on instagram now.
  4. I am a bit surprised at the Stormtrooper change, though I'm not necessarily upset that they are changing it how they are. It's just hard when they've released sets like the Imperial Troop Transport that work semi-well for army-building and then update them (though it is nice that it's a semi-minimal change). Also, the Luke figure from 75330 has been leaked, and it looks quite nice. It's a bit different from the 2017 variation.
  5. I’m going to also pipe in and say that per my sources, this set number and name is legitimate at least. 40560 - “Professors of Hogwarts.”
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if the restraining bolt variation appeared in a set somewhere down the line - maybe upon the next Sandcrawler re-release (though they didn't have that design on the most recent iteration if I remember correctly).
  7. It definitely looks amazing. Glad it has the dual-molded leg!
  8. Likely this will be the torso going forward. They have no reason to make it retro for this set…
  9. Nah. Something a bit more: There are a total of 6 characters in the set. And another area for the other two (both of them have updated printing) :) May be the droids you’re looking for…
  10. There are two sliders in the back for the walls (you can see the ends of them with a stud on top of each in the picture) :) And the set just has an extra element to it that’s quite nice that can’t be seen in this picture.
  11. The Trash Compactor does have the closing walls. Also, there's a bit more to the set than what is shown in the picture I had posted about it (picture that was posted on instagram).
  12. The compactor has a bit more depth than what is shown. It's definitely not the most appealing angle for a picture. The set has around 800 pieces as well. And yeah, the Stormtrooper design has been updated with white hips and I think some small print changes.
  13. Seeing more pictures, this set is really growing on me. It's pretty incredibly well done.
  14. Definitely looking forward to seeing this set!
  15. The fact is, there's not a lot you can do figure-wise except a force ghost with this one, as the scene requires these figs (and the 2018 ones were already pretty great).
  16. This honestly sounds like a great way to display it. I'm also hoping that more pictures will give a good idea of how large it actually is, as right now the angle doesn't give a good perspective of how long it will be (even though we have some details on that from prior news).
  17. For NCG, you could order some of the figures from B&P. When the LEGO Ninjago Movie was released, due to licenses around the movie, you couldn't order LEGO Ninjago figures from B&P for a time (other than those already on there), but then it reverted back at some point for at least some Ninjago figures. I do wonder if LEGO will include any civilian parts to this castle (windmill-esque).
  18. I believe so, yeah. Which is kinda unfortunate, as it likely would have done better if the movie had released on time, and now the sets are in a position of retirement.
  19. The Trash Compactor, as well as the Brickheadz should be coming in May as well. I honestly don't know either. It's easily my most anticipated one of these three quotes sets, but I expected it to be the $60, not $90.
  20. There should be four other May sets beyond these two (including Brickheadz and Landspeeder). And I think the SW ones are just a bit more cramped, yeah. That's honestly my biggest complaint with 75330 (the cramped feel of it). I'm not surprised that the Trench uses a lot of greebling, and I think that came out well, but I still wonder why 800 pieces for the Compactor.
  21. Far as I know, it's a D2C. Every D2C is exclusive to LEGO for around three months before being available on other sites, and this seems to follow that trend.
  22. The thing is, the prices aren't all that outrageous. $59.99 for 665 pieces and $79.99 for 1000 pieces are great ppp ratios. The sets are definitely a little small size-wise for the prices (at least Yoda's hut is smaller than I thought by a little bit), but the ppp ratios are incredible for SW sets.
  23. This has been one of the most confusing set number situation I’ve ever encountered… Also, 75330 for Dagobah, and 75339 for the Compactor. The sets do look quite nice!
  24. Do we have any more info on these sets?
  25. Given that it's a D2C, I wouldn't expect official pictures until closer to mid-April (especially given recent D2C reveals relative to release).
