  1. Hi, I'm using the Xbox series X controlled together with a Buwizz and BC2. While the app is great in allowing a physical controller to interface with the Buwizz, for anything that goes moderately fast, I'm noticing considerable input lag, and a significant reduction in working range compared to using just the Buwizz app. Granted my phone (OnePlus 5) is over 4 years old now, but is the input lag and reduced range expected? Thanks!
  2. I've also wondered this. Dedicated rock crawlers >>> trial trucks Looking forward to this video. Do share it here on EB.
  3. Of all the TC20 entries, this is by-far my favourite, and the one I would vote for if I could.
  4. Thank you for taking the time to reply. The only sets with pneumatics that I have are 42043 and 42053. Was not really interested in 42080 and so never really read-up about the newer valves. I am totally looking forward to getting 42128 though. The plethora of functions and the lack of C+ are the biggest draws. Thanks for the review!
  5. I agree. So, how exactly are the new ones better?
  6. Hi, I'm unable to see any of the photos posted by @filsawgood here as well as in the TC20 Entry thread. I'd appreciate it if you could re-upload them to an external site and link them again. Thank you!
  7. I'm not sure why I'm (seemingly) the only one with this problem, but thank you.
  8. Thank you! What exactly did you do? There are a bunch of photos in many other threads I also can't see. With some details, I can inform the other posters what to update. If my understanding of this is correct, the castor angle allows the steering to alternate between the extremes based on how the bodyweight of the chassis shifts. If that is the case, how exactly do you shift the bodyweight of the chassis? And does this mean that once it starts steering, it cannot go straight without stopping?
  9. Thank you. I will check with the thread starter. Others claim they can see the photos. I have figured it out. Firefox's tracking protection was blocking images attached directly in the forum. Disabling the tracking protection for the EB domain allowed the photos to load. However, I am unsure why the image-hosting site used by the forum was flagged by Firefox as a tracker.
  10. Fully agree with this. Even though I use an xbox one controller via brickcontroller2 and a buwizz2, it still isn't as good as an out-of-box solution like the PF controller. And the lack of an out-of-box solution for PU is one of the reasons that I've yet to get any PU set. The other reason being getting PU motors/hubs separately is just not cost effective. True that the perceived high cost can be mitigated buying PU sets on discount, but the requirement of touch-screen controls is still a turn-off.
  11. Is it just me is someone else able to see the images in this thread?
  12. That's very interesting. I found adding a tank to 42053 made play a lot more enjoyable. I was able to more precisely control the raising and lowering of the arm. My kids could also grab and play with it whenever they wanted compared to 42043 where i had to pop-in batteries everytime they wanted to play. With that in mind, I was already beginning to source for another tank and pneumatic tubes for 42128 as well. But if there isn't a need for precise control of the pneumatic cylinders, as in they just need to move from 1 extreme to the other, and that can be achieved by 2-3 pumps, then perhaps adding a tank may not be worth the effort/cost. Any thoughts on this?
  13. Hi, I've noticed this issue on my phone (Android 10, running latest Firefox), and on my PC and notebook (both Windows 10, running latest Firefox). There are certain pictures in posts which just don't show. I have boxed in red what is seen instead of the photo: However, most other images just load fine: Please advise what I can/need to do to correctly see all images. Thanks!
  14. Thank you. Here's hoping the seller does the same for 42129.
  15. I remember someone mentioning a seller on ebay selling PU sets without the electronics...
  16. Not sure if this was mentioned before (and I missed it), but since there isn't going to be a new air tank, would there be enough space to squeeze in the old blue/white air tank? 42053 had space for a tank under the black panels at the back, and that made play more enjoyable.
  17. If only this would be available without the PU components for half the price (or less), there would always be the option of using PF (or whatever other motor/battery pack one has).
  18. This is something I would be looking forward to, especially for someone who is already heavily invested in PF, and not keen on switching to PU.
  19. Long time lurker, 1st time poster. I'm not sure how the new differentials are, but I've noticed skipping under high loads if the differential isn't braced on the other side.
