looking for a link about ball rolling thing

Hi it is G B C,great ball contraption. Dino -
Hi bad news: I have been for 1,5 days (Saturday and Sunday) and another Thursday in London last week. I was not able even to find a single fig - not saying i planned to buy 1-2 sealed boxes... The Lego store told me there are out of stock and only availabe in small volumes (9 per person and day). It tooks me at least 1,5h of my London trip to got there - a time i wasnot willing to spent again. All WHSmith i have seen have been small shops with just snack and newspaper or books, but no Lego at all. I am sure there are WHSs in London that are quite big and have Lego but i had no idea where and i wasnot willing to spent expensive London time on unsucessful trips. I am dissappointed :( Dino

Hi typical i dislike WIP topics because most of them will not be updated or finished at all. But with your amazing SC tank you have shown how are good and entertaining WIP should look like. Additional to that your work on Technic is great and is finished in greater MOCs. Dino

Hi that is quiet disappointing: I spent 1,5h to go to the Westfield shopping center with Lego store. Guess what? The did not had a single Olympic fig left. They will be restocked not until Tuesday... Even then, youmare limited to nine fig per person and day... Any great tips from Londoners where to get a sealed box on sunday? Dino

Hi ooh yes! It was only because of his "hair brighter than the sun" :D Dino

Hi Great! But where is Gunther? ;) Dino

Hi how could you exactly buy two sets? There are not within opaque plastic bags? Or are you a feel-the-package master? Dino

Hi to do iit in you way: I will start with numbers ;) 1 welcome to EB :) 2 an ITALIAN tall person is 1,80m, others are 2,00m ;) 3 just kidding! 4 do not care that much about your english. It is very good understandable! There are many non native english speaker here right now. 5 i like your combination: beeing an anchitect and Lego fan. That must be a great source for ideas! Dino

Hi vehicles like that are called Trike. Dino -
Hi that is the first (and only) TIE with HOG steering ;) Dino

Hi with a pricetag of 150€ it is exactly the same with modulars like the FB. The town hall is 180 €. Compared with the GG (500€ +++) which is discontinued, it is pretty cheap ;) Dino
-
Hi does anyone know when the UK figs will be available - and where? I will be in London the week before the games are beginning and wondering where i have to go to get a sealed box :) Dino
-
Hi i have to thank at first those guys that posted the monster house in a "wrong" forum - i have just never taken a look into the action forum ;) For myself i am highly interested into the modular buildings, especially the GG, that is actually out of my price range because of the lot uncommon colors. Therefore i highly welcome this 2k pieces set in sandgreen and lots of other useful colors: browns and greys. For those that are really into this theme: Are the figs are unique to this set? If yes, someone like me that just needs a parts pack can sell the figs to make it cheaper! For sure i will buy this set if availabel! If you could sell the 6 figs for ~50€, i will be a just 100€ house in sandgreen! Dino

Hi when i read "BFG" i expected something really different ;) Something more "B"ig and "F"eaking ;) But anyway what does BFG means here? Dino

Hi i am fascinated by WIPs of Derfels medival landscape. He regulary posted his progress in a very high quality. But i really dislike WIPs that will never e updated. You will see some interesting photos and then: nothing. No follow up, no update. And even there is an update, both posts are split over pages by many additional posts. So i really loved the way Derfel did his guide by slitting WIP stuff from the talk. Doing a good WIP topic i hard additional work (like a good review). You have to stop you work several times. Then you better post "surprising MOCs" without a long WIP history. Dino

Power puller wheels
Darth Dino replied to Omikron's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hi i had luck when i searched ebay for something uncommon: Look for "monster tires lego" or similar instead of 8466 or Powerpuller wheels. The first got me a half build offroader with all suspension and steering parts (beside the whole wheels) for below 40€. If you are looking for something what everyone is looking for you will have to pay a higher price tag. My monster tire find had only 5 viewers... ;) Every auction with Lego setnumber in the top will be easier to find = generates a higher price tag. I have seen ( and unfortunately missed) e.g. the Lego Eifel tower for ~250€ without the setnumber in the top... Anyway i have enougth parts for a huge 8x8 ;) Dino -
Vampire GT
Darth Dino replied to Kronos's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
@Paul thank you for the great car and great auction. Gratulations "you" got such a high value, and even found a real bidder, instead of "fun bidder". You may aks eBay and or Paypal if they cancel their fees while this is a charity auction. I know at least ebay did that. Offer them a copy of the bank transfer to M a W that shows the full auction value. Good luck! Dino -
Hi the firebrigrade is older and still available. The GE will not phase out until the FB is still present. Dino

Hi unfortunately i am pretty bad in feeling the packets. It tooks me more than 2 minutes to differ an Aztec (helmet) from the Galaxy Patrol (amor piece). And if i do so, i still have viking girls (skirt piece) aboard ;) While i am no native speaker, do i understand right, a "free box" means an EMPTY free box that comes with the bag i buy? ;) Or do you mean an additional "full" box? Dino
-
Hi bad news for me. Seems to me that i will have to get a whole sealed box to get all the figs. But i can easily imagine that there where not enought fresh boxes for all "workd suppliers" collectors and army builders. Do you get a discount if you buy the whole box? Dino
-
Hi doas anybody know if the figs will be visual inside the bag? I would like to have the whole set without the need of purchasing the whole box... Dino
-
Hi luckily i will be the week before the games starting in London and Cambridge. Beside the sightseeing&photography i will meet the Lego store. Will you get these figs like as CMFs in sealed and opaque bags? If yes it will be bad, i am not very good in "feeling the pakets". Dino
-
Hi yes, indeed, that was your lucky find, Lego Family. Btw thank you for the lugnet link, exactly what i am looking for. Oh my, i had maaaaany Lego CS sets, i really have to thank my parents and grandparents! I will post my former collection when i am ready with the list. There are some sets that i do not 100% remember but i remember their special parts very well. E.g i remember from this set http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6952 the big grey panels in the center and the green canopies, which had many sets, but i had many of them too :) Dino
