  1. Hi Wow the dutch police setup is great. There are alldetails in that i have seen during the many times they stoped me during my many trips within the Netherlands. ;) For those that are familiar with the Passat: The doubble whitish backlights are different, one is larger and has a differnt "interior". You made that small detail very well by using the 1x1 round plates in two differnt ways. Cool! But sedans are very rare, 85% of allPassats here are "Variants". Dino
  2. Hi that list has no value unless we all have no idea what the average income AND leftover is for the people in your country. The difference between Switzerland and Germany e.g. is pretty huge. It does not matter if the minifig is 5$ if your leftover per month is 5000$... Dino
  3. Hi wow - thank you for the back image of the BMW. There is no reason to hide that, it is nice and easy to recognise as the front is. It is really a 320d with just one exhaust ;) Where do i found your Passat? I have one and it would be great to build one ;) Dino
  4. Hi what a couple of great cars in a rare scale. I would like to comment your BMW 3er: There are a way more BMW 3er and 5er as police cars than Golfs. The german police has typical no cars that are only good for two persons ;) They use Passats instead, but younare right bavaria is full of BMW. The front looks very good, especially the BMW "kidney" - as germans call that. Do you have pictures from the back? Dino
  5. Hi i see - why they have not used arabic numbers instead of latin... damn it ;) The "four" is quiet smaller than the "six". Dino
  6. Hi the german wikipedia said as DLuders posted before a Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger. You can also find an overview that also named the Tiger this way. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deutsche_Militärfahrzeuge_des_Zweiten_Weltkrieges Btw. this MOC has great details. Dino
  7. Hi regarding your furst post: If this is what you get n mind "accidentally" i do not want to know what you will get if you really try to figgure something out. That is a really cool helicopter with uniquefunctionallity! Dino
  8. Hi wow - that is a nice and unique Unimog! Looks very authetic too. I like the footprints (tireprints ;) ) od the Unimog made during the video. Dino
  9. Hi i think too that spliting the forum will nit help. But if it will be moved to special themes it would fit well. It is the same with architecture Mocs that do not have the minifig scale. Those of them that have been posted in the town subforum do not get a lot of feedback. Team model and architecture are the same, high detail and "free" scale. Anyway Ralphs Mocs are great and should get all the feedback :) Maybe spcial themes should be renamed to "hard to find" - compareable with the S@H section where all the treasures are ;) Then all od us easily recognise that it is worth to look there. Dino
  10. Hi i wanted 8 of those Powerpuller wheels for mocing and bought one and a half set of the Offroader. The first complete set was described as dusty and i got it for 60€, the half set was described as "Monster tires" without naming the set origin. This one contained the whole chassis of the Offroader including the wheels, suspension, steering and so on. It got it for just 30€, both sets on Ebay Germany. As you see there are cheaper ways to get those tires if you do not care about the technic printing on the sides. Getting as in bad condition (dusty) or wrong (no setnumber! "Monstertires") described is the easiest way to do so. If have now a vy god chassis base for an 8x8 truck for just 90€. Alternatively you can order a new and sealed one from Ebay Germany for 450€ -ha -ha... Dino
  11. Hi i often look into that forum for (more) architecture builds. Your MAS make me look mor often into this forum again - this is really nice! I keeps the whole design with a "couple" of different bricks. Even the colors are very close to the original. Thanks for sharing, i am looking foreward for more of this or similar. Dino
  12. Hi wow that is high performance Lego. Are that all the regular parts of the 8366? The Motor look pretty fast and strong. Are te axles still the normal black technic axles? If all answers are a "yes", i will know what is next to do.... ;) Dino
  13. Hi nice work. I am really happy to see more architecture builds. So i think this would fit better to the special themes (Architecture) than to town. Regarding its huge scale and high details it would fit better there than here. Dino
  14. Hi i am wondering what the builder is going to use to rise the boom. Dino
  15. Hi you really should post that image in the SW photography topic too! It is from that point of view amazing. The lightning is truely stunning, not only Han in carbonite but also the grid that comes from the roof design. I realy like that! Dino
  16. Hi beside this is a "for girls"set this is oneof the reasons why i have gone into my dark ages. I hate "single use" parts (sorry do not know the correct word for that) and this set has so many that it feels to be far from Lego away. I would be happy to see the landscape including the pool build with bricks instead of a single part. And if you take a look ate the many mediaval landscape topics you will see that this easily goes. The only reason is to save money, bricks sems to be expensiver than single plastics. Btw. i do not want to be rude to your review topic - sorry for that! Dino
  17. Hi Amazing! This is why i have 8 Offroader/PP wheels. I am glad to see them working in a real TT vehicle. I have never seen them before for such usage. Unfortunately the video do not run on my Ipad. Can someone help me? Dino
  18. Hi there are several reasons why the US market seems to most commercial goods to be the cheapest: - high(est) competitive situation - large(st) single market - low transporting costs (logistics) - good infrastructure - many clone/co brands I have a swiss friend that have been asked to bring a swiss watch (3000€ in germany) to his US friend. Although the watch is build close to him it list pricewas 2200€ in the US and 4500€ in switzerland.... ;) Dino
  19. Hi do not compare your local prices with the US ones. They are allways the lowest avalable. I am german and Denmark is quiet neerer to me than most of the german towns... The Robie House for example cost 199€ and it is available at amazon US for ~100€... Every Lego there is cheaper than here. Even german cars are about 30-50% off in the US although they have been produced here. Do not worry ;) Dino
  20. Hi man, is that a great build of a iconic car. Especially the small wheels fits extremely well to the whole design and makes it easy to recognize. If others are mostly likesnyour technical skills with that model i am most impressed by the design. I was not sure if that degree of detail and preciseness is possible just with technic parts. Dino
  21. Hi oh that is really nice. It reminds me to buy the 8070 before Xmas. Right now its jst 80€. Are te black rims painted? Dino

Hi haha - this is really nice but it makes m smile not fear. The reason for this is that the Alienitsekf seems to smile because of the round toothplate. Maybe it is also a bad grin >:) Dino
  23. Hi i have to agree with Mr Benn, anyway if this is Amstedam, Bricksterdam or whatever a Nice Dutch city, water is missing. I have benn worked in Leiden and Amsterdam as well and canals and bridges would be the first i am going to build. Anyway, the yellow house tops a lot, very detailed and tasteful. Dino
  24. Hi welcome to EB! Exactly the same here with me except my castle was grey and not yellow, i am 35 not 38 and i unfortunately do not have a father that gives 8110 around, i have to do that for myself :) Dino
  25. Hi If you do not care about cleaning Lego, i would recommend also to get them cheap as "incomplete" and used sets. Excample: A sealed Offroader cost me at Ebay Germany 450€. Even the wheels (the reason why people want this set) are available for +60€ used. I won an auction that did not have the correct setnumber 8466 in the title but "monsterwheels". I got for 30€ all the suspension, steering and gears stuff plus the wheels because nonbody found and wanted them. To come back to your topic: Use rebrickable and then try to add some smaler sets to you collection, you will see how easily you will get fast a number of pieces that will work nice for your builds. No complete and or new sets are necessary for that. Dino
