    Looks pretty good from those first photos now. Slightly disappointed that the vertical blade cylinders appear to be fake, as it appears is the top one on the rear ripper. Wouldn’t think it was that difficult to add the real ones on? It would be cool though if it was pneumatics!

    Thanks all. Realised from the review vids afterwards, it wasn’t a separate package I opened all the bags in the end to double check, and found what I guess is where it should be as there was a white pouch with the curtains in, which is bigger than it needs to be, and, no roof part :( Part is on back order as well, but Lego were helpful about it at least. Only the second time ever I’ve had a part missing though, just annoying it isn’t one I can replace from ‘stock’. might try and make something temporary for now…

    Anyone who has built this new set, how was the orange roof material packed in the box? Just got ready to build and it appears to be missing! wanted to double check I haven’t overlooked it - I was expecting a large bag or envelope for it?

    Just got a 2nd hand AT-ST Raider set today. Nice build, although a few steps aren’t that clear for younger builders I didn’t think. A couple of interesting techniques on the side panels though. I’m getting sucked into the Star Wars now though and I was only going to buy larger Lego sets to keep me busy!

    Loving the look of this so far. very much meh when I heard it was going to be various ‘items’ but this fits together so well. Glasses look neat too - I think they are part of the set? I hope the letter is NOT stickers though!

    Is the Cruiser a Lego exclusive in the UK? Doesn’t seem to be listed on any other retailers sites at all.

    Looks pretty good overall shape etc, although not an era of Star Wars I am that familiar with. Two things stood out to me, are the sides not fully enclosed when the doors slide closed? Also, the inside seems really bare. both probably accurate, but the interior particularly doesn’t look great, especially with the Technical supports.

    To be fair it wasn’t just those sets, but yeah, obviously not looking promising after just 3 weeks on the shelves! The sets are quite good on their own, I just think the concept is not great, and looking at the boxes, unclear for a general purchaser to understand what it does I think.

    My initial reaction was, wow, that’s different. Then you sit back and start thinking, is it worth it? This is a set I would say is more about the final product than the initial build. It’s a shame the lace holes are so upright compared to the sloping side on the original, definitely an area that is ripe for modding, and would really improve the model. It would have been fun if it was wearable, especially as it is based on my size 😁 Noticed Adidas have also announced some new Superstar trainers with Lego moulding, which makes the intriguing question, do you want Lego that looks like trainers, or trainers that look like Lego?!😄

    Just finished the Dodge set. Really impressed, although only second Speed Champions after the Audi. Some neat detailing on both and the Challenger shape translates well to Lego. A note for the OP above, the dragster stickers are on coloured backgrounds, and the Challenger ones are mainly transparent backgrounds. One note, is the Ford set only available direct from Lego? Can’t find any 3rd parties with it in the UK.

    Expensive weekend! Managed to get the Hydro Bounty on Saturday early, and picked up the Endless Sea Temple today. Bounty is looonnnggg. Nice build though and goes with the other Bounty versions nicely.

    I'd second the Probe Droid. I built the Tie Pilot recently and found it a bit boring to be honest, and guess Vader would be similar. The Droid has some quite interesting parts and techniques I thought.

    What happened about the issues of using the Razor Creat name in some markets? I’ve just bought the set from Amazon UK and noticed it does actually show it as Razor Crest on the box! I thought it might be a US edition, but it doesn’t show any piece counts.

    I would have thought the Snow White had a good chance given their relationship with Disney. I'd really hope for the Karate Kid set though, not so much for that tie in, but just as a nice building style which is different to the typical modular ones.

    Just built the Hedwig I got on eBay for £18 - new and sealed! not a difficult build, but quite intriguing to do though, more to it than expected.
