  1. I agree with swils. It's nice that you're into it, but you don't have to explain every bit of roleplay you do. We can infer what you're doing.
  2. True. I was thinking at the time, but true. We saw last years first around early October I think, so around then I'm guessing.
  3. The thing with Gotham is that it's just a generic Batman prequel, so it very well could exist in any of the universes. Plus it won't really focus on any of the characters in any of the other universes besides Bruce Wayne's origins. I'm also guessing that Constantine will be in its own universe too since it's on a different network (NBC) than Gotham (FOX) and Arrow/Flash (CW)
  4. I believe the creators said that Gotham exists in it's own universe. I don't remember where I saw it, but I do remember reading it somewhere.
  5. I remember once seeing 8129 AT-AT on sale for $70 USD, a good $40 USD off the retail price, and for some reason I don't remember I didn't get it. Gotta make sure to get the new one then.
  6. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the finalization of the sets. The first wave of Avengers sets came out in April and they unveiled the decaled figs at comic-con, probably just to show that they were doing Marvel sets. The quality on those were bad, so I'm guessing Lego wants the sets/figs they reveal in a near finalized design. And yes, DC does seem to have more exposure than Marvel, but Marvel does have this extra Guardians/X-Men wave.
  7. I agree, I'd do a mix. With just doing one or the other, you'd just be restricted to that kind of theme when building, whereas with a mix you can really just do whatever you want to do with your layout.
  8. Neither would I, though I'd love that Bard in a set. I doubt that the Collector from Super Heroes is a preview fig seeing as the whole Guardians line is out already, so I don't know if all of them are previews, though I guess Bard could still be. I do wonder why they used this fig for an SDCC exclusive when they had a perfect opportunity to put him in a set. I know with the Super Heroes figs, they're usually ones that won't be able to be put into a set like Phoenix or Shazam.
  9. I've seen them at the local LEGO store, but nowhere else. I picked up the Infearno Interception yesterday from there for part, but must say I'm finding myself unable to disassemble it. The figures are beautiful, and I absolutely love the car. It makes me want to pick up more from the wave, sadly, since I'm pretty much out of spending money for now.
  10. I agree. It's and odd misprint, but in my experience it doesn't end up being worth too much, if anything at all. Completely odd misprints can usually be worth something (I once saw a Lois Lane print printed on a reddish brown head by accident), but nothing like an area missing on the print.
  11. I don't read the title, but The Punisher has always been one of Marvels more R rated characters. From when I paged through it (though it was the previous run) there was some implied nudity and some gore. There was some swearing, but nothing too major (shit and damn). That kind of swearing is about the worst you'll find in most comics, including even popular characters like Spider-Man. However, Punisher isn't really the classic superhero going up against supervillains. Most of the time, he's going after the mob and bringing down drug cartels, so it's a little darker than traditional comics. The parental advisory titles are a bit more, for lack of a better term, inappropriate for younger fans in content. Off the top of my head, Punisher, Deadpool, Thunderbolts, and even the Wolverine title are all parental advisory comics as of now. It's all about more of the implication of elements such as nudity and gore in my experience than whats actually shown. That being said, you could always go to the store and either page through an issue or two and/or ask whoever is working the store about it. At least at my store, the guys behind the counter read most of the comics themselves and are very helpful and friendly.
  12. I'm guessing it's just the lighting. The three torsos look pretty much identical besides the neck area (which I'm pretty sure varies from torso to torso anyways. I have some with the darker orange color and some with the more flesh looking color).
  13. "Yes, but our strongest sword as well," Althior said, bitterly, "I actually liked him, which means I don't really like you. But I agree, we do have some unfinished business to discuss, though I suggest we get further away from the city before that. This could get loud, seeing as there are probably a few more of your friends lingering around here, and I don't think any of us want to go back in there. Agreed, Ms Loc?"
  14. That's a nice lineup of Arrow figs! I love the head you used for Slade. I feel like the most accurate Brother Blood (according to show) would be using the body and legs from this Harry Potter fig, any suitable flesh head (there could be a few), and the dark red skull mask. Looks pretty similar to this if you ask me.
  15. Infinitely jealous of that collection right there. As for me, I just have 1 SDCC Shazam, but if you'd be willing to share one of your Phoenix figs...
  16. I saw the MTT at my local LEGO store today, and decided against getting it in favor of the Cantina. I figured I'd wait to read a full fledged review before deciding whether or not to get it. Also, I couldn't tell, but does Qui-Gon have a new face in this set? It looks pretty similar to the Gungan Sub version, but I didn't see the box show a reverse side, and the respirator from the Sub wouldn't fit the part of the movie.
  17. I think that was because the entire lineup of sets was DC in January this past year, much like how it could be this coming year. With the 2012 Comic Con, we got all the minifigs for the 2013 lineup due to the fact that there were both Marvel and DC sets in that wave. They probably would've maybe wanted to reveal a set, but to get the equal exposure for Marvel and DC then they'd have to reveal both a Marvel and a DC set, which may have been too much along with the Hobbit and Star Wars sets they revealed at both of these last two conventions. It's just a theory, though. I personally don't care whether or not it's a set or a minifig lineup revealed. As long as we know there's a Green Lantern fig, I'm good.
  18. I honestly don't think that Black Widow needs her own movie, seeing as how prominent she was in the first Avengers film, CA:TWS, and (supposedly) AoU. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Black Widow solo film before getting a Ms Marvel one due to the success of the character already. That would allow Marvel to see how a standalone female superhero film would do before taking a risk with a new character, especially if Antman doesn't do so well.
  19. I do agree that the Sub would be a very cool set, though. And it is nice to see that Emmett doesn't have to be in every set. Now someone just needs to tell the Super Heroes line to leave out Batman like that every once in a while.
  20. I would've preferred Bucky as well, but seeing as he was Cap recently, Marvel probably wanted to shake it up a bit. Plus, I believe Zemo exposed that Bucky was a Soviet Agent, so he probably wouldn't be seen as a good Captain America in that world. A reason that they made Falcon Cap I'm guessing is because of how much the public loved him after TWS (Which I think they just should've made a Falcon title as opposed to him being Cap). The thing I don't like about the new female Thor is that they're calling her Thor. Thor is his name, not a mantle. So unless she's weirdly named Thor for some reason, she would end up being, say, Hannah the God of Thunder. The whole relationship with Thor being Odin's son and Brother of Loki is also a definitive aspect of the character, and taking that away from the character is pretty big. Also, Marvel has the Ultimate universe so they can try stuff like this (especially after the events of Cataclysm and the New Ultimates). And these (plus Wolverine's death) will probably last a year or two, seeing as what Marvel has done recently with Superior Spider-Man.
  21. This is really cool! I love the bar area, and the landspeeder is just amazing.
  22. 70162 - Infearno Interception 75052 - Mos Eisley Cantina 5002127 - Flashback Shredder #2
  23. Found the entire line of Summer Star Wars sets at my local LEGO Store and picked up the Cantina. Fantastic set. The minifigs are superb.
  24. Sorry, was just about to post when you rolled the round. Althior: Spear, 20 Gold Eric: 60 Gold Nur: 50 Gold, Hippogriff Sarge: Armor, 30 Gold Althior glares at the corpse with a look of cold disdain in his eye. All of those spirits, just gone in a blink of the eye. He spits on the corpse before turning to the rest of the party. "Let's go. I've had enough of Vega for a lifetime,"
  25. I honestly didn't expect that they'd keep this line going into 2015, but it seems to make sense the more I think about it. The set itself is okay, and is a nice way to get Angry Kitty, but that's about it (assuming Bats doesn't have a new face). Though getting the Bat Gun is cool too. There seems to be a lot of untapped potential from the film they haven't used yet, so I'm definitely looking forward to this new wave.
